This was our first experience with a Swedish grocery store. We purchased a number of preserves and jellies plus some chocolates and cookies. The store looked like it carried a wide range of products. They've even had Ben & Jerry's ice cream but the cost was considerably higher than in Vermont, about US$10 per small container. I noticed that the beer in Swedish grocery stores is all 3.2 to 3.8 percent alcohol. You can buy higher percentage beverages but you need to go to a separate type of store. Just when I think Lund can't get any better, I go into this grocery store and I find an insane selection of vegan products. Rivaled only by Astrid och Aporna in Malmo and Goodstore in Stockholm, despite just being a general grocery store. pretty big organic section as well. read more
