I also loved being able to use them for my normal clothes it saved me a bit of money vs breaking them up into smaller loads. Facility is very clean and appears to be recently remodeled. Coin machine worked great. They even had a basket that I could roll out to the car to bring my things in and out. Tip: Come with cash because they aren't able to give cash back and the atm next door has a fee.

I have been using Wash Works for years. Today was the worst. I was there in the afternoon to do a…read moreload of laundry. No worker was there. I sat and talked to the many people who were there keeping a social distance. After everyone left a worker (She was short and overweight) returned from a pick-up from the mills. I was watching TV waiting for my clothes to dry. She started saying something I could not understand. I walked over, keeping my distance, to hear better. She said I had to wait in my car to protect the other customers. I looked around and saw no one. I told her that no one but myself was there. She said it was a rule. The sign on the door used the word "ask" not "rule" about waiting outside. This is voluntary. I would have waited outside if there were more people than just me. She said I still need to go outside. She at this point, not wearing any PPE, came closer to me saying I had to go outside. I told her twice that if any other person entered, I would leave. She still harassed me about going outside. I sat down to watch TV. One of the people that was there returned. I left and stood by my car. I talked to some people who were sitting in a car. The person left and I re-entered Wash Works to gather my clothes. Right away she started to harass me again about going outside while I removed my clothes from the dryer. I told her I was leaving, yet she continued to harass me about being outside. Again she did not keep her distance while she continued to harass me. I ask 4 time to stop harassing me to no effect. She still harassed me. I started yelling to stop harassing me, again with no effect. The rule given by the President, CDC and many other government agencies is to keep a social distance. Yet this woman refused to follow this rule. Yet I was wrong for watching TV by myself. I will not return to this business any longer if this is the way a loyal customer is treated.

I ended up dropping the service after being upcharged for having the top of my comforter popping out the top of the bag at drop off. I asked about the charge (because I had never had that issue before) and was told it was a "bag closure fee." I told them it was a single comforter and a part of the top of the comforter popped out. I asked for them to reverse my fee. Eliza flatly refused and said it was a valid charge. Crazy pants position to take for a loyal customer who has never had this issue before. I am now with another company that charges less and per load and is just as convenient.

Another time, I paid cash because the attendant said the machine wasn't working, then the next morning I was accused of lying about paying the night before.
