I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but my experience with Heartland Roofing was…read moreexceptional enough to warrant one on every platform I can find. I have very high expectations when it comes to service and quality of work, and Heartland Roofing exceeded them in every possible way. From the moment they started in our pool house, it was clear that this team is a cut above the rest. Their craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are absolutely top-notch. The professionalism displayed by everyone--from the frontline employees to the ownership--was outstanding. What impressed me the most was their commitment to understanding my specific needs. Whenever there was a question or a need for clarification, they didn't just assume--they stopped their work and took the time to connect with me to ensure everything was exactly as I wanted. This level of communication and dedication to getting it right is rare. The finished product? Even better than I had imagined. Heartland Roofing has truly set a new standard for what I expect from any service provider. If you're looking for a roofing company that delivers on its promises and more, look no further. The salesman ordered incorrect doors and expected me to accept "fixes' to hide imperfections. I stopped them from installing the third door as the second door was also incorrect. The stoppage was temporary until we resolved my concerns. The owner showed up and asked what I needed to do to fix this. I explained my concerns, he stated he would do some research and contact me. " He is a new owner and admitted he knows very little about the business he recently purchased." After about a week and a number of calls and attempts to resolve my concerns, he finally called me back. He read a statement and ended the conversation with, "We've fulfilled our contract and we're done working at your house. I replied, the 2 doors you installed are incorrect, one is incomplete and I can't put a storm door on the front door as ordered, you still need to install a third door and a storm door. How do you consider this fulfilment of your contract? He replied, "Have your attorney contact mine." I took him to small claims court. I won a judgement for $5,430.00, the amount of my deposit on November 26, 2025. He is required to pay this amount plus interest. I am out my attorney fees. I have not heard from him. The judge stated he breached contract, improperly installed incorrect doors and by doing what the contractor wanted to do would void the front door manufacturer warranty.
