This place does good work, the ladies in the front are really nice. Unfortunately not honest. I was lied to when I signed up about pricing. I had an insurance issue, which is common here from what I understand. I had disclosed my Isurance was going to run up in 6 months and they said "no problem, we will adjust something's so that they pay it before your insurance is up and you can just cover the remaining 5,000$ Long story short, they lied, they didn't care to compensate at all for their hiccup. Instead, they billed me another thousand dollars almost that I can't afford at the moment. From what I'm hearing, this kinda thing has happened here before. Shop around, plenty of others for thousands cheaper that are just as good, but prob more honest. read more

This place is deceitful, and dishonest. The work as far as the Ortho goes is fine, not special, not bad, just fine. The fact that they billed an additional 1k at the last 6 months is ridiculous. They claimed it was an accident insurance hiccup and if not paid they wouldn't complete the services I already paid over 5k for. I suggest shopping around, they ripped me off, and I have heard I'm not the only one. There are many other places that are just as good and better for around 4k, shop around. 6500$ for braces with insurance is ludicrous "DONT GO HERE" read more

While the staff is overly nice, they are not accommodating financial hardship. They do not listen when you call with a problem and proceed to talk over you when trying to explain. I'm glad my daughters treatment is done and was planning on my sons teeth to get done, but it will not be here. read more

They did a very good job with my daughters braces and herbst appliance. She needed the appliance to help bring her jaw forward. Not many places offer this device. Much better than having the do Jaw surgery. read more

The doctors and the front desk girls are super nice and sweet, but the workers who replaces and fix your braces has no personality and not helpful at all. They always make my family and I feel like we're an assembly line and doesn't care to explain much about what they just did. I asked a question and they just gives me a vague answer like they don't know what they just did. I do regret going here. Now, I just learned not to ask them any question, I just ask the doctors. One of the workers, well, she's inconsiderate and is very rough with my mouth and teeth like she want to break them. I just recently got my teeth and braces adjusted and the girl was very short with me. Didn't say much. Disregarded my question. Maybe, Cool Smiles needs to train their workers to be more considerate or at least show some valid concerns of their patients when they're asking questions. read more

I can't say enough positive things about how great Cool Smiles Orthodontics is!! They are always so friendly & ready to answer any and all of our questions. The kids and I never feel uncomfortable walking into their office. There's always cold bottled water in the fridge and frozen treats in the freezer! We never dread going to their appointments either and they are great about reminding ME of the kids appointments, too!! Everyone is so friendly with a great "vibe" and I love the fact that they have had the same staff for years! That says a lot about a company when their employees stick around long-term! As far as pricing goes, they are always up front and very honest about what your child (or yourself) is going to need. They never surprise you with any extra costs or add any unnecessary procedures/items to the treatment plan so there are never any 'surprise' charges along the way. I know, when I am getting a consultation, that they are being genuine with what is absolutely needed. That's a great feeling especially because braces are already expensive as it is but I know for certain that they would never say the girls needed something done that wasn't completely necessary. I love their payment plans/options, too! They don't charge any interest which is AWESOME because they could if they really wanted to! One of my favorite things about them is that all of the same faces are still there from when my oldest daughter, Bailee, had her braces put on. Now my twins, Sydney and Shelby, are in the process of making their smiles more beautiful and I am 100% sure that they will be smiling even more and with the utmost confidence when they finish their treatment plan. i've been waiting so long to write a review for this place. i wanted to wait as long as my treatment lasted to make sure i gave a fair review. i get my braces removed next week so i thought it was time. the office is ALWAYS sparkly clean, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, they always worked around my school schedule as well, and they never took longer than 5 minutes to take me in. both doctors that work there are great!!!! i was super annoying and i'm a perfectionist so i'd always ask dr.simjee to fix the slightest of things and he'd happily do so. i'll admit the pricing was a bit high but i definitely got what i paid for. i'm really happy with my teeth and my experience working with this place. read more

Both of my daughters were patients there. A few years later and now it's Mommy's turn. Awesome staff all around! Monica in billing was there when I took my daughters and it's an absolute pleasure to work with her again for my treatment. She is very thorough and does it with a smile! Visiting the office almost feels like catching up with friends. From the time you walk in you are acknowledged with a smile. It's not an act of congress to get appointments either. I went for my consult and was able to return later the same day to start treatment. The entire team made me feel as if I knew every detail of the process. Personally I wouldn't come to him again if I had to the cost of braces are a bit higher than other places, so SHOP around! It was $5000 for braces, either metal or clear....thats not exactly the price tag everywhere, SHOP around! I have seen places offer em for $3000....go there! The staff and offices were great Simjee himself would promise that my braces would come off soon and when i went into see Dr. Tanna, he was more realistic with him date....Dr. Tanna was the BEST! Couldn't have chosen a better place to receive my treatment! I've had my braces on for 31 months now and each and every appointment was always fast and easy! The staff at the Corona and Riverside offices are great! My problem with their Corona office is the difficulty of getting appointments. There was a problem with my daughter's expander and I can't bring her in immediately to be seen because there were no orthodontist at the clinic that day. I hope they extend their hours on Friday. Most kids get off school at 3pm and their clinic closes at 3pm on Fridays. read more

Was referred to Dr. Simjee by my dentist. Visited him for a consult regarding my underbite issue. He seemed to be distracted and not very interested in our consultation. I was later given a quote for braces by the receptionist. His pricing was higher than another orthodontist I spoke with, so I called the office and asked if they could work with me on the pricing (since he came recommended from my long-time dentist). So the receptionist scheduled another appointment and told me to be prepared to have my initial work done to prepare by teeth. When I arrived, I waited a long time in the waiting room. Then Dr. Simjee took me into his office and immediately told me that he is not interested in taking me on as a patient because not all personalities match... Uhhhhh, WTH. I was infuriated/offended and asked why they wasted my time by having me come in for a second appointment because they could have just turned me away with a phone call!?!? He got angry and rudely asked me to leave his office. I then raised my voice because of how rude, disrespectful and arrogant he was. He told me I need to leave his office immediately, grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the waiting room. At that point, I couldn't believe he put his hands on me. I told him if he touches me again, I will press charges. I made sure all of his patients in the waiting room heard me. He walked me down the hall to make sure I would leave and not further embarrass him in front of his patients. I should have called the police. I left in shock and let my dentist know to never refer a client to him again. He is clearly not professional, is arrogant and thinks its ok to put his hands on someone in his office. His stomach is full, so God forbid you have a disagreement or misunderstanding with him because it could get ugly real fast. There are many other reputable orthodontists in the area and are priced better. I ended up getting my treatment from another local orthodontist who was very sweet and did a fantastic job. I'm actually very happy he turned me away, that's why he got 1 star. read more
