cares too much about their 2 spaces of parking, even when both spaces are empty(likely due to bad…read morehaircuts, idk), they will become territorial over it If you use one of the empty spaces for 2 minutes. the owner(not sure?) has a napoleon complex, started talking about disrespect(I've never met the guy before in my life, nor would I care enough to disrespect him). Just a bad representation of a business, to start accosting someone outside their work when there's no customers to accommodate. The quality of the place is questionable, considering the person I spoke to enjoyed saying "fuck you" and "get the fuck out of here", to me within 30 seconds of talking(I was trying to be nice as this person started accosting me about disrespect for some perceived slight), if there's an issue with parking, as is common in urban environments, the solution is to call a tow truck, which wouldn't of gotten there in time, but from the reaction of the man who got unreasonably upset of me leaving and coming back within about a minute and a half(no joke, it was that short of time, he was still standing there at his door when I got back after I walked away), 911 in his case considering how desperately he needs the 2 empty spaces for his shop. Mind you, the entire time, while the owner was accosting me was longer than the time I left and came back, nobody showed up to partake in their haircuts, nobody used the other space that was fully available, and nobody would put that much degree of care into how empty parking spaces are used, besides the man who gets no business despite having "paid for" them. I think he was just upset his parking spaces he leases from the city are used more for the businesses around him than his own, and as a barber he's forced to watch it happen constantly as those around his grow while he's in the red. Enjoy the 1 star, you earned it for the unnecessary and unreasonable experience I had to endure at your place of business.

I pass this barbershop all the time and had noticed the pictures outside showing different fades…read moreand cuts. I also saw that they do kids, so right before school started, I decided to give them a try for my son Forrest. I came in with my two daughters and my son, so yes... it was basically all of us girls walking into a barbershop full of men but everyone made us feel completely comfortable from the second we walked in. We showed them a reference picture of the haircut we wanted, and they did an amazing job. It didn't take forever, the price was great, and most importantly, Forrest felt comfortable the entire time. He wasn't nervous or scared at all. What I really liked was that they were kid-friendly without making the whole experience feel overly babyish. He got to sit in a real barbershop, get treated like one of the guys, and still feel safe and comfortable. It honestly felt like such a better fit for him than one of those super kid-themed haircut places. He left looking good and feeling good about himself, which was exactly what I wanted before school started. We'll definitely be coming back!

Because we were new to the Plano-Allen area, I booked an appointment through Booksy, but the barber did not show up. A nearby barber who did not specialize in ethnic hair recommended Blades and Shears. We arrived 30 minutes before closing while Reg was waiting for another appointment. He asked us to return in 30 minutes and said he would fit my son in. Reg gave my son one of the best haircuts he has ever had. He truly saved the day!
