Pretty neat place, for still under construction.
I thought I would check out this little metal-building on US Highway 175 to see what it was all about. Parking was easy. The building itself doesn't look very big from the outside, but once inside, it just keeps going toward the back. Wow! You can fit all this floor/walkway/living space in this little building?...!
They sell a variety of stuff--antiques, scented candles, soft-drinks, homemade desserts, snack mixes, "gift-shop" sundries & trinkets, etc. I bought a neat matching coffee table & side table with inlaid vintage ceramic tile from here. They were very helpful, loaning me one of the moving blankets, & helping me get it all into my car. They said to just "bring back the blanket when you can" (I returned it the next day). I also had a piece of homemade chocolate-frosted yellow cake, some snack mixes, & some scented candles. They aren't set up for payment with debit cards yet, but they accept cash & checks.
The ladies who run the place are super-friendly, & they clearly have big dreams for it. They hope to add a small bistro/cafe in the back (with some indoor seating & some outdoor seating on the porch!), as well as sell vitamins & some health foods. They also talk about planting a garden outside, so that you can have some "curb appeal" to view on your way to the bistro in the back. It might also make a nice venue for some events (wedding/baby showers, reunion luncheons, community organization/club meetings, etc). I look forward to seeing more! read more
