Good small pharmacy. Very friendly staff. If your prescription is uncommon they may have to get it in.

I typically don't suffer from cracked lips. However, the corner of my mouth was dry and cracked. I needed some Vaseline. I didn't have any on me during my road trip. So, I stopped by this store. I was thinking that a small jar would be fine. The crazy thing is that the large 375 g jar was 50% off and was the same price as the smaller tub. I went with the large tub because that's how I tick. The clientelle tends to be older. There was an older woman who was paying for her purchases. The cashier was cheery and helpful towards this customer. It was refreshing. She was patient. I wasn't in a rush, so I liked witnessing the conversation between the two of them. When it was finally my turn to pay for my tub of Vaseline, the cashier thanked me for waiting. What wonderful customer service! I was pleased with my purchase and was thrilled that it was on sale. The tub is in my glove compartment, as I have the same sized tub at home. My cracked mouth corner has since vanished. Vaseline works, folks! (237)

The pharmacy in this location is good, the women who does my blister packs (my medication) is amazing! She is friendly, and goes over & above to make sure that everything goes properly and to make sure you get what is needed! The rest of the pharmacy staff seem nice as well and they are always helpful. I used to love the makeup section at this location but now their is new management in beauty and it's very different. I don't feel as welcomed as before, a couple of the ladies who work in that area are nice but a few don't seem to care and never have a smile on their face, including the manager, she seems like she hates her job and it reflects her work.. it's sad that the store has gone down hill.

I was in to see about a product or two at the Shoppers at 310 Fairway Rd. S. in Kitchener. It was a busy Senior's Day and the attractive lady in the skin care/beauty dept. was very busy attending to several customers. Even so, she cheerfully came to assist me and answered any questions I had about the products. This lovely, caring and knowledgeable lady was Christa Egi. That day, I became a regular at that Shoppers (even though I have closer stores), because of who Christa Egi is and how she so professionally represented her Shoppers store and its products.

Myself, and everyone I know that's been to this pharmacy have had a terrible experience every single time. They're disorganized and have 0 concept of time management. Customer service skills are subpar at best, and the pharmacist owner is quite rude in my opinion. For the actual store itself, I'm often confused by the stickers on the shelf as they don't line up with the products and the stickers placed for Optimum Points are confusing and conflicting of each other. I can never find an employee besides the one girl who's working the makeup counter at the time, and not a single one of them is actually able to help. I asked to checkout there once because the main checkout was long, she wasn't doing anything, and I was buying shampoo and conditioner as well as feminine hygiene products. She refused to check me out and made me wait in the long line. I did attempt this once more and the girl did check me out, but rolled her eyes at me and seemed very annoyed I was asking her to do something for me that she gets paid to do. The worst ever experience I've had here was a few winters ago. As I was exiting the store, I slipped in a puddle from the melted snow (right inside the store at the exit), and I did minorly injure myself. I went inside to tell the girl at the checkout and turns out she saw the whole thing and was laughing at me. I told her they might want to clean it or put a mat before someone gets seriously hurt, and she blatantly told me to just be more careful. I didn't pursue charges because I simply couldn't be bothered, but I wish I did.

It was clarified, when I called by phone, that I did not qualify for the flu shot yet since I do not have immune-compromising conditions. I got confirmation that I could still come for the booster. But, once I arrived, somebody had asked for the covid booster, and from the the person's conversation with the pharmacy staff, it turned out that there was no Pfizer vaccination. The patient accepted Moderna and it worked out well. I had selected, online, to get the Pfizer booster. When my turn came for the covid booster, I checked with the pharmacist that the dose I would be given was Pfizer. She said yes and said the entire name of Pfizer bivalent, etc. I did say that my neighbour had gotten Moderna after previous dose of Pfizer, and then the pharmacist seemed to read off the screen: Moderna bivalent. I checked again, if it was Pfizer as she first assured me, and she acted acted surprised that she said Moderna. She did not confirm that I was going to get a Pfizer dose, either. Instead, the pharmacist asked me when I had the last dose, I said in July, she asked when in July, and as I turned on my cell phone to check, she said that it was on the 27th and that it had only been 82 days since. I was able to schedule the appointment based on the last vaccination day, and despite there being 82 days instead of 84, the system allowed for the vaccination. My conclusion is that this location has surplus of Moderna, and this pharmacist tried to push Moderna. She would have given me Moderna had I not checked with her. It is not the two-days difference that prompted the pharmacist to decline issuing the bivalent booster, but they did not have Pfizer. A more dishonest possibility is that the pharmacist tried to get rid of Moderna doses. I am disappointed.

Lots of student activity in this branch as well as it is the closest and most convenient to the universities. Overall this one is nothing special, although the cashiers/service seems to be nicer than the other ones I've been to. However, I don't like how this place closes early (9pm weekdays), plus how there's no entrance from the outside (i.e: you have to enter the place from the mall interior).

The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. I liked the care that she showed and the help that she gave. I'd come back here again when I'm in the area. (157)
