I only wish there were an option for zero stars. I purchased an annual contract in advance, after being assured by the salesman that the contract would be easily transferred in the event of a move, which I had informed him was highly likely. Of course when that move happened, no one from Cooks what even bother to return our phone calls. We contacted the office eight different times in an attempt to transfer service to a home closer to this office then where the original contract was signed. We had just written off that eight months worth after Cooks became the first company to disappear in the witness protection program... But that's not the end of the story. Out of the blue, when the original contract was finally expiring after a year, Cooks calls us in an attempt just on the new contract. The salesman, which was the same one from the previous year, actually started the conversation by saying that he was sorry that we have all the issues with the transfer... Indicating to me that Cooks was well aware of their actions of neglect to us as a customer. I informed that salesman that I would expect some sort of resolution to the eight months of lost service before we would consider signing a new contract... When push came to shove, that "resolution" was to give us one free month of service while also paying a transfer fee. That could not have been more insulting... Didn't you wanted to argue with my wife about the quality of the service in the first four months at the original home apparently should have made up for the lack of any attention from Cooks for the last eight months of the contract. The audacity to come into our home and to start an argument while bringing no resolution of substance to our complaints should tell us all exactly what kind of company Cooks truly is. read more
