Found Aqua Ristorante under things to do in Civitavecchia, Italy. We took an Italy cruise and…read morewanted to do something fun in this port. Excellent reviews on many sites and I contacted Federico thru his Facebook page, he quickly responded. Make your reservations prior to your trip or you won't get in. Federico and Fernando his driver picked us up at our port and drove us to his ristorante. Ten minute drive and we were ready to start. 6 members of our group from 15-80 years old. This by far was our favorite part of our trip. The Ristorante was a perfect setting for a cooking class and fantastic meal. We learned how to make homemade Bolognese sauce, gnocchi, eggplant parmigiana, tiramisu, veal saltimbocca. This was a hands on class not just a demonstration. Fabulous class. After we got to eat our meal and we were served farm wine which was delicious. Fernando and Federico took us on a wonderful countryside tour after this fabulous class. So worth it. Amazing day. Our entrees were Amberjack and my wife had gnocchi. Both of these dishes were well cooked. The gnocchi had a lovey salty seafood broth that was excellent for dipping bread. We ordered the tiramisu and a lemon short bread . These were very well constructed and really tasty. If you happen to be in Town for some time please try it. This place charges by weight not pan size or by the slice. Pizza came out timely and at the right temperature. It was very tasty.
