The chips had the taste of homemade but i was not impressed that although there was a nice garnish presentation it was completely ruined by a sachet of tartare sauce on the plate, I would prefer condiments to be an optional extra on the table not on the plate. Overall a nice place to eat.

Worst Customer service ever received…read more My boyfriend and I popped into this cafe for a drink but as we were very low on money we ended up only getting an orange juice carton. Ten minutes later when we finished, the man comes and takes the carton and tells us that the juice was for takeaway only (this wasn't said to us at the start), obviously stating that he wants us to leave. As we get ready I go to the stairs that lead to the toilets (for paid customers which we are) and he starts yelling at us saying we're not allowed. Now I can understand if people have a mental price limit of how much you must spend in order to have access to a bathroom even if I think it is very petty to refuse a customer but the way we were spoken to was appalling. He started yelling at us as he was kicking us out. It's not like my boyfriend and I were rude or taking up space as there was only one other family in the cafe who by this point, because the man was making such a scene they had no choice but to stop and stare. He yelled abuse at me as I came back to take a picture of the outside of the cafe so I could remember the name of this dreadful place. On top of this the cafe was very sticky and even just pulling my chair out felt disgusting and the orange juice carton had dirt all over it aswell as being sticky. I can't imagine that this place is up to healthy standards. I would not recommend at all. The man clearly has issues that he takes out on his customers because he doesn't lead a satisfactory life.

Especially enjoyed the bacon, eggs, and tomato. Paired with some English Breakfast tea as well, this made for a lovely, hearty breakfast.

The food however wasn't very good - I got a hot roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce baguette. The baguette was soft on the outside and about half of it was so dry from lack of any contact with the (lacklustre) filling I just threw it out. The orange cake had a good strong taste but the sponge was saturated with some kind of syrup - great the sponge wasn't dry but this was a bit too far the other way as it was so sweet. Would pop in again for the nice environment but only for drinks.
