Situated next to the Hang Hau MTR station, this is one of the older malls compared to places like Popcorn which only opened in the last few years. Though much effort has been put in to modernize the location, the age does show a little through the layout and general décor of the mall. Having said that, this mall does cater for everyone and everything- its rare to see nowadays small shops mixing with the big boys like H&M and department stores under the same roof. There is a cinema, numerous restaurants and a sizeable food court that seems to offer everything there is under the sun. Being a residential estate as well, there are supermarkets and dry cleaners here too which gives it the character of a smaller place than it is. Not forgetting to mention the department store - Citistore- which offers more everyday items that you will need to set up a new home. This place is jack of all trades and master of all. I would only recommend this place to locals as there really isn't much for tourists to see. It is a family mall so you won't find anything really interesting here (in fact I would say its al little bland)- but what more could you ask for, all in one place?

We ventured out here to get a feel of a more residential area Hong Kong area and one easily accessible by the MTR. As seems typical of Hong Kong's newer malls, it is clean and bright, well maintained, busy, accessible by the MTR, has lots of mid-priced (as opposed to high end luxury) shops and eateries, and also has a connected hotel, in this case both a Crowne Plaza and a Holiday Inn. We enjoyed our visit here and getting a lot of mall fitness steps in while at it. It does appear true that the further out from Hong Kong proper one goes, it does become slightly more laid back, slightly less crowded, and slightly less intense on the hustle and bustle.

Connected to the mall is the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn. Both good locations to stay, and while you stay, when you go downstairs there are plenty of shopping and eating options.
