People rave about this place especially the shakes. This review is just for the shakes because that is all I ordered. The price is 2.99 and you get a lot for that amount. I was surprised by the size of the shake. They have a lot of interesting flavors to choose from it was hard to pick. We went for the Reese's peanut butter shake x2. The shake was very thick kind of like a Dairy Queen blizzard. We ended up needing spoons to eat it. When we looked at the shake, it looked like mostly vanilla. There were little bits in it and we barely got a Reese's taste. Comparing it to diary queen blizzards it is not doing it for me. Maybe I will try another one to see but it was just OK.

He even called me while he was there, and I could hear the warmth coming through the phone. Employee Lisha was absolutely fabulous, and my son was right--she really was "so nice." Thank you, Nu‑Way, for continuing a tradition that means so much to our family. You've been a staple for my mother since she was a girl, and now you're becoming one for the next generation. That kind of consistency, care, and kindness truly matters.

I cannot believe this is the first time I have been to Nu-Way. Well, I do not go to Macon much…read moreanymore but in years past I have been here plenty. I have heard of Nu-Way for years so headed in for The Black Crowes concert gave us the opportunity to visit. The restaurant itself is old school diner style. There are plenty of old photos, drawings, and advertising on the walls. But this is real and legit old decor, not new faux nostalgia BS like you see at some places. The women running the show at the counter were friendly and all business. They got our orders quickly. I don't have a photo of it but I recall that Coke came in a gallon size styrofoam cup. The chili dogs were excellent. I would have loved to eat a couple more they were so good. Fries, well I missed out on a photo because I ate them, so they must have rocked. I would like to go to the Air Force museum again, so maybe I will be headed this way again soon. If so, I am going to Nu-Way for more dogs and this time a burger too!
