The side salads are fresh and delicious. The fires were always fresh and delicious. I believe they use ground chuck for the burgers, which is a quality meat cut. Not sure if they grind it themselves. The service has ranged from ok to great over my many visits. They cook to order, so it always takes longer than a fast-food place. If they are busy it can take a good while to get your food, which can be frustrating. But again the food is great and usually worth the wait. If you are in a hurry, and they look busy, you may want to try another time. The owners are usually there working the place, which is nice. It is a small business that has stood the test of time. They are very nice people! If they have the time they sometimes stop and chat with us. Very friendly/good folks.

There are plenty of old photos, drawings, and advertising on the walls. But this is real and legit old decor, not new faux nostalgia BS like you see at some places. The women running the show at the counter were friendly and all business. They got our orders quickly. I don't have a photo of it but I recall that Coke came in a gallon size styrofoam cup. The chili dogs were excellent. I would have loved to eat a couple more they were so good. Fries, well I missed out on a photo because I ate them, so they must have rocked.
