Everyone from the dentist, to the office staff is so incredibly friendly and informative it makes any decision making easy and clear. The dentists will tell me exactly what they see and what they're doing (English is great by the way), and they'll even ask me if I have preferences or what I would like to prioritize. As well as that, they will give me suggestions on what they think and overall it's a very involved experience. His office is over the top in kids decor (weird if you happen to not be a kid), his office staff is disorganized-throw away forms you've already filled out, and he's got about 6 signs on the wall that make reference to charging you for every little thing (not insignificant charges either). I had an irritating disagreement the very first time I walked in over them wanting to charge me $300 for records. I said no, then he didn't even want to see over a years worth of records from a previous doctor, and told me he was the only one in town who exclusively does the Damon bracket (alluding that I wouldn't find anyone else). When I went BACK for a consultation, he realized then that I have clear brackets in the front (who doesn't notice that?), and that he doesn't have replacement parts and would not order them if he broke them. THEN, told me he'd have me in braces for an additional 9 months when my previous release date was 3 months away, let alone what the additional cost would be. He was pretty rude about everything, and made no attempt to secure my business. There are other orthodontist's offices (ABC orthodontics) that will work with you, would actually like to see your other doctor's records, and will not nickel and dime you to death (on a larger scale). I. would. not.

It was on the higher end, cost-wise, compared to others in town but well worth it and it went well. I also got two very small cavities filled here. One cavity I had awhile and instead of getting worse, it stayed the same for multiple years until I finally decided to get it drilled and filled at Rubio Dental. Like the cleaning, the cost was a little higher than other local places. I also had another filling done to close a gap between an implant and a tooth that chipped, where food kept getting stuck. Unfortunately, I must say, however basic both of the fillings were, I had to have one of the two fillings redone at another dentists. The redo was in Asia. With this said, I'm not sure I'd recommend this clinic. It's hard finding a trustworthy clinic in Mexico. Maybe if I would have asked them to fix their work but I never bothered. It should be fine for simple stuff, I just don't have as much confidence in their work as I'd like. I must say, however, they didn't over-recommend treatment to line their pockets, like many American dentists have in my experience. I think your experience will vary. Very nice clinic, nice staff and atmosphere, I'm just disappointed they didn't do well enough on one filling and it had to be redone.

I got 5 dental implants…read moreso this required 7 shots in the mouth(which I hate!) but this doctor was so careful with these shots, I LITERALLY FELT NO PAIN & I LITERALLY DIDN'T FEEL THE SHOTS! The 5 implants he placed and for the tooth he removed, he made sure I was numb and felt NO PAIN! I am so impressed with this doctor and this clinic! He was kind and thoroughly explained all of my options and made me feel very comfortable! If you need serious dental work no matter what it is, this is the clinic you'll want to go to!
