Kept up on letting them know we submitted a application we're interested, they called for income verification, about 5-10 minutes later received a text from them saying rent is being increased and they changed the policy to no pets allowed. Then, right after sent a text saying "Your application was denied due to pets, let us know if you'd like to apply for another unit." Didn't even ask if they are emotional support animals or service dogs. Just wasted my time, credit score and money i could've used towards another place. *edit*. Told them i had a letter for emotional support animals, and out of nowhere tried saying i was denied because of income also. I have the all the messages/emails. Disputing the application fees from my bank as, they are a SCAMMING, UNRELIABLE, UNTRUSTING and just not a good property management company. I've applied to a few places that go through property management and NEVER EVER seen such a dirty company. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS YOU SEE. YELP AND GOOGLE DONT LIE. LIVE IN A MOTEL INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. Hope this helps someone, like everyone on yelp/google tried for me.

For the record, I waited over 8 months to write this review to allow Steve the opportunity to deliver on his promises but not only did he not deliver, he refuses to even respond to mine or my realtor's communications. To add some context, Steve was the selling realtor for the home we purchased in June 2022, and our realtor (who was great) unfortunately had to work with Steve to close the deal. We purchased a home that was priced just under a million dollars, and I would expect a certain level of customer service and follow up when closing such a large deal. Steve responded to our realtor up until the closing date, and after that date he completely fell off leaving a lot of unfulfilled promises (that are in our contract). It took Steve two & a half months (77 days to be exact) just to come remove the lockbox from our property after the purchase of our home. When he came over I personally asked him about all the unfulfilled promises he and the seller had made. At which point he smiled, gave me his card and assured me that he was on it and would be in touch ... this was literally the last time I heard from him despite my efforts to contact him. His seller is in a breach of contract due to so many unfulfilled promises that were in writing. Steve failed to follow up with us on our home warranty (in the contract). He failed to follow up with our home security credit (in the contract). He also failed to follow up with the promise to repair the granite in the kitchen which is chipped in multiple areas. Again, this is close to a million dollar home! The lack of customer care on Steve's part is unacceptable. I've never worked with a realtor who lacked professionalism as much as Steve does. I highly discourage anyone from dealing with him or his company. I honestly don't even know how he has a license, he clearly doesn't care about people or their families. It's no surprise his company only has two stars. If I could give him zero stars I would.

Woof, these guys are bad. First, objective experience and facts: Pros: they did find me a tenant,…read moreand payments were timely. Cons: Communication is awful. Promised phone calls never come, emails are often not responded to. We had an issue where they had told us they took care of removing things from the property, only to find out after the tenants moved out that the stuff has been sitting there the whole time, and we can't get them to respond at all now that we no longer have tenants. Now, for subjective experiences: I simply didn't like them. Joyce is dismissive and has a "I've been doing this longer than you and know more than you" attitude when some things she told me are directly contradictory to WA landlord-tenant law. CJ, who is apparently Joyce's right hand, will pass the ball and the buck at every opportunity. I had a big snafu when I tried to sell the house. The tenants told me they were promised I wouldn't sell while they were in the house, while I was *very* clear that I intended to sell. Heck, I negotiated a better percentage in the contract upon sale, I was so serious. Do not use these guys. Run far, far away.

What we really appreciated was that, unlike other realtors, they didn't pressure us to go over our budget or try to talk us into homes that we didn't love. In fact, they helped keep us grounded when we looked at a few fixer uppers, and helped us really think through the costs associated with updating it. They were extremely fast in writing up offers, which is necessary in this market, as many of the homes we looked at were off the market within a week. We love the house we bought through Team Scott and that we know we can trust them in the future. After we purchased our home through them, it was time to sell our condo. I can't stress enough the importance of photos when trying to sell your home, and Jim and Denise know this. The photos they took were amazing! They sold our condo within a week, an extremely difficult task considering the local condo market at the time. I'm not excited to move anytime soon, but I know that they will be the ones selling our house if we ever do!

Red tape aside, I love how easy Ms. Martha in housing makes things for me. She is really nice, and she always helps me with anything related to our rental. Anytime anything breaks she helps me do a work order, and then out come Mr. Charles and Mr. Harrison to fix things. Just last week they all worked together to get my garbage disposal to stop leaking all over my cupboard. They were timely and efficient, and I am very grateful for them all. Most moves we end up getting the short straw with housing, but here is not like that. Will be sorry to leave, the neighbors are also polite, the house is decently put together, and the support from Martha is very helpful, especially during deployments and underways.
