Of course I was lucky, but prior to the cancellation he was still going to be there the same day. No charge just for showing up like other companies. Hourly rate. Very reasonable. He helped me with moving the box with the lights in it. I had a worker already there working on the front door. I thought he would be through before Dave got to the porch, but they worked it out. It was even fun. Everything was as professional as it could be. He cleaned everything up. He was as nice as he could be and a delight to have around. When he was leaving I realized the coach lights needed to be turned up instead of down. He did it without grumbling. He also looked at my hall ceiling lights and discussed them with me. I tried everything checked the light switch, power at the light pole and our electrical panel with no luck. I called Surge Electric, and they were out the next day. The owner spent about an hour tracing wires underground and after several system tests he located a severed wire. He dug it up, rewired the system and repaired our driveway lights. David, the owner, was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable, he left my yard neat and clean, and all driveway lights working properly. I will use Surge Electric for any future electrical problems. I must have made a mistake in button punching. Waited another hour SLOWLY dialed again and got a very pleasant lady who explained these guys had bought the other company. She made sure that she had all the needed information, set a time frame we could deal with and told me that MATT would be the service tech. Matt showed up on time, went right to work checking our A/C system and told me what was wrong . He had the part on his truck and installed it in a very short time.
