Fruits is a Japanese fashion magazine that covers Japanese fashions in the Harajuku district in Japan. If you are in the school of thought that Lady Gaga is and has ever been the icon of outrageous fashion then this fashion movement is indeed worth considering first. This fashion movement runs parallel and has some similarities to the New York Club Kids who were beacons of outrageous fashion in the late 80's and early 90's. Much of the adventurous clothing wearers here blend in Western fashion with fashion of the Far East. Phaidon Press has releases two books documenting this fashion movement from author Shoichi Aoki. Fruits(2001) is the first book which is then followed by Fresh Fruits(2005). The author expressed concern in his first picture book that the movement was fading to the wheels of casual fashion. However after doing further research it appears that the magazine is still going strong and that there are enough softline adventurers in the Harajuku district that are willing to get their picture taken. I can't wait to visit Japan now! I highly recommend these books to those who like to take risks with their fashion yet always open new ideas!

I needed an 18"x24" poster print mounted on foam board, and in my project request I mentioned we would be displaying the poster on a tabletop easel. Patrick clearly read the whole request and gave it thoughtful consideration, because he advised that for an extra few dollars, Alpha could add foldable easel wings to the back of our poster - heck yes! I'd gotten a quote from another larger print shop - let's call them Kedex-Finko's - and the price for this job was easily going to top $50. Alphagraphics was a better price, and definitely a better and more personal customer experience. The final product was sharp, sturdy, and beautiful - a really clean print. From initial request to project completion, Alpha had the whole thing done in about 24 hours. Highly recommend them for any print job, personal or professional.
