Do not go here!!! Terrible service, horrible communication and poor quality medical care. Started with a 10am appointment made on line. Arrived at 10, wasn't seen until 11;30am. Receptionist told me after the 1st hour of waiting "Its not an appointment its a check in" Whatever that means "And if you leave you need to tell me.." I waited to be seen and was taken in at 11:30. Quick blood pressure taken. Doctor or nurse (who know s what she was) came in, sat across the room from me and asked what was wrong. I said" I have a stye in my eye that will not go away" Without even approaching me, let alone touching me or leaving her chair on the other side of the room, she said "Close your eye" She said..."That's not a stye" She said it was something else and I needed an opthamologist to possibly "cut it out." She'd give me some gel for it, but I would need to see an ophthalmologist. Went to an ophthalmologist the next day. She said it is MOST CERTAINLY a stye. Oral antibiotics prescribed, stye went away. $350 wasted on this horrible place with no resolution and a terrible experience. Worried all night about have my infection cut out of my eye. Went in for a DOT physical for work and was told that I had to get a sleep apnea study because my BMI was too high. The doctor told me once I had the sleep study done and had a letter saying that I did not have sleep apnea she would extend my DOT card for the full two years Come to find out they don't extend it. You have to get another physical and pay again for them to extend it so if you wanna get lied to and charged for something that you literally just had done then come here. Went here 2 times in 48 hours to be seen and was turned away. Informed only the second time that I needed to book an appointment online... FOR URGENT CARE?! The women running the front desk explained that if I didn't see the portal to book online then it was because their booked and it disappears off the site. I check their site while I'm standing there talking to her and visibly showed her I don't see any portal. She proceeds to tell me again, that it's because they're booked... But then states that they have openings after 4pm.. What in the actual hell is going on here? This is the absolutely worst operation ive ever encountered in the medical field. I need to be seen for urgent care and have been turned away multiple times... please excuse me while I process how backwards that is. The staff are inpatient, tired and rude. I went to the Amherst St location two weeks ago for severe dizziness which could have been because of a migraine or vertigo. It was Sunday morning and no one was in the waiting room. I told the front desk person what was going on and she immediately dismissed me saying they can't treat that (even though migraines is one of the illnesses listed on the website). I mentioned that migraines were on the website. She got huffy and went out back to check with the provider who apparently corrected her. She took my information and I was seen within 5 minutes. The medical assistant took me back and tried to take my blood pressure. The auto device wasn't working and she then couldn't figure out how to take a manual BP. Really?!?! She left the room to talk to the provider, leaving the door open. I heard her saying "I have no idea what's wrong with him. He brought his mommy with him and I had to tell her to stay in the waiting room." Yes, my mother did drive me (couldn't really drive with vertigo), and no, my mother did not want to come in and chose to stay in the waiting room. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior in my life! The only positive to this visit was the provider. He was thorough and kind. read more

One of the services this facility provides is drug screening for recently hired medical practitioners. My wife was one of those. She's a Registered Nurse who was hired for a position at a local hospital. Turns out the testing Convenient MD conducts is more of a cursory or preliminary test. Apparently, if you pass then it's an acceptable drug test. If you don't pass, then they submit the urine sample to a lab. In my wife's case, she did not pass the cursory evaluation. And the Nurse Practitioner and Technician treated her like an absolute scumbag. The test was a false positive, my guess would be due to improper handling at the facility. The lab test came back negative, as we knew it would. Still, the damage was done. Our issue with this facility is not, at this point, with the unprofessional NP and Tech. It's with the fact the facility manager refuses to take a phone call from my wife. They simply lack the integrity to acknowledge the lack of professionalism with the staff. And to another medical professional to boot. Bottom line, these people suck at life. I wouldn't advise you trust them with your health for one second. read more

Convenient MD is clean and neat. The ambiance of Convenient MD and the efficient registration process, may be Convenient MD's greatest attributes. I find it hard to believe that at the helm of Convenient MD is a team of avant garde health care leaders; in my experience, this clinic seemed like an every day "Doc in the Box" from the 1980's; a product of a time warp. There was nothing about my experience, as a patient, that led me to believe that the staff was working against metrics (for excellence) that were measured by Press Ganey, so, I'll be very surprised to get a post-visit survey from Press Ganey, inquiring about my experience, with a focus on "excellence" in "service (e.g. quality of care, customer service)". On a positive note, the person who registered me was kind, professional, and efficent. The type of person that you'd want in the front of your house/business. There were no cumbersome forms to complete; the registration process was simple, painless, and efficient; I thought (wrongly) the remainder of my visit would be the same. The first person I met was a nameless, credential-less, name tag-less person who came into my treatment room to determine the reason for my visit, to inquire about my medical history, medications, and allergies, and to take my vital signs. I don't believe I was greeted with a hello, I know that I was not greeted by name, and I know the person who interrogated me, never told me her name (nor could I determine her credentials, since she wore no ID, nor disclosed her credentials). If this were a hospital, The Joint Commission would have the Convenient MD staff for dinner. The Convenient MD leadership stand to learn a lot by sending their leadership and staff to The Disney Institute, and to embracing the most basic of customer service cultures. The next person I met was another nameless, credential-less, name-tag-less person (referred to by the previous nameless person as "one of the providers"). I was left to wonder, is this person a RN, NP, PA, or MD, or none of the above? This person examined me, to my surprise, was unfamiliar with the information collected by the previous nameless, credential-less, name-tag-less person (hint: likely took no time to read that persons note(s), or to be briefed by that person), offered a diagnosis, and treatment plan, went out the door, and returned. And, away I went. If this is what health care and medicine have come to, Lord have mercy. read more

I made my first visit for a COVID test at 9 am (their website says "no appointment needed"). I was told it would be a 2 hour wait. The woman put me on a list and said to come back at noon and the wait would be short, less than an hour. I came 1/2 hour earlier to register because apparently you have to see one of their MDs before they will do a 30 second swab. I've been here now almost 2 hours! I went in (they make you wait in your car) to check how much longer and was told another 1/2 hour! I just needed the test to go to a venue that requires either a shot or a negative test. 10 An exceptional group of medical people. They were so competent and professional but mostly..kind. i would drive a long ways out of my way to return to this facility. I just want to thank them for being so kind. My daughter and i had to go in for bronchitis and other issues. They were friendly upon arrival. We were seen quickly even though there was a relatively full waiting room. They explained everything they were doing and why. Medically, they couldn't have been any better. But in this world of stress, judgement and short tempers in so many encounters.. this group of professionals showed kindness and decency. Never would I recommend this place to my worst enemy. I scheduled an appointment this morning at 11:55. It's 4pm and I'm still here. I have been tossed around from nurse to doctor all afternoon, offered half-hearted apologies, but no one actually seems able or willing to fix the problem. They are incredibly short staffed, running with a single telehealth doctor they didn't tell me about until I got here. I have talked to the doctor multiple times, and she seems kind and knowledgeable, but so in over her head. Just the most ridiculous doctors visit I have ever encountered. There were so many problems - I was told so many things about so many different medicines; that I could take it, that I couldn't, that I had to drive to another city for it, that a pregnancy test would suddenly be required after several hours. And then there was the multiple hour wait for the medicine to be provided. It was truly an ordeal. Please do yourself a favor and go to another urgent care. read more

Be sure to ask for a time estimate. I waited an hour and a half for an xray, then figured I'd better ask. I was told I had another two hours to wait. I asked to be reimbursed and they couldn't generate a receipt showing my credit card was cleared of the charge. read more

I went to ConvenientMD for the first time yesterday after taking a bad fall. My husband and I arrived shortly after they opened for the day and noticed the cleanliness and comfort of the waiting room right away. My wait time was very short, unlike my experiences at other urgent care places. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful- the receptionist, the triage nurse Gina, the x-ray technician, and the PA Sara. I've never had stitches before, but we knew I needed them and I was really nervous about it. Gina and Sara were both very reassuring and both clearly very skilled in not causing any unnecessary pain or discomfort. Overall, I was left with the impression of a very professional company with really high quality staff at all levels. While I hope I won't need to go to another urgent care place, I would definitely go back to ConvenientMD Nashua and I highly recommend this facility! read more

Good luck if you go here. Went 2 years ago, no issues. Went July 1, 2023. Visit was fine. Gave insurance info and paid co-pay. Now, on Dec 12, 2023, I get a bill for $319.01 from them, for the JULY visit. Called ConvienientMD and they tell me call my insurer, United Health. I called and United Health who said they changed their TAX ID somewhere along the line and so were considered out of network until Sept 1, 2023. HOW THE HELL are patients supposed to know they changed their friggin tax id throwing them out of network suddenly??????? Now ConvienientMd is telling me to call United Heath again to ask them to resubmit the claim. WHAT?? Because YOU changed your TAX ID, didnt fix it with insurance companies, I need to call United Heath and have THEM resubmit the claim. How is that helpful? ITS YOU that need to fix it with insurance if you were not supposed to become out of network. You took my co-pay in July and didnt communicate for 6 months and now want over $300? read more

Very friendly, staff. Clean location. Seen promptly. Unfortunately, I went home in pain after an assistant shoved an instrument (scope with light) in my left ear. Apparently, she was never taught that an ear is delicate. When her coworker, the physician's assistant, came in to inspect my ear a 2nd time to see if the wax had been removed she said I had an abrasion in my ear canal and to be sure to be careful about getting water in it, i.e., what not to do until it healed. I explained to her that her predecessor had just done that damage. I felt like I was in a 3 Stooges episode. Anyway, I'm sure some people here are competent. But, I definitely had an unlucky roll of the dice. Also, as far as the term "M.D." on the signage - there was no M.D - i.e., don't expect to see a doctor. read more

After an awesome experience in February at the ConvenientMD in Merrimack, NH I visited the ConvenientMD in Nashua with some similar symptoms. I was expecting to be seen inside to rule out Pink Eye/Conjunctivitis and quickly get to work. My symptoms were very mild and I explained why I was there...unfortunately the patient's needs are not looked at as COVID 19 has taken over reality. I was told I had to be treated in my car which I was ok with, but no one ever checked me out other than taking my below normal temp and asking me to hold down my eye lid for at most 2 seconds. It wasn't determined that it was pink eye and yet she asked if she could give me a COVID test to which I agreed. I had to take time off from work until the test came back but still had no closure regarding my eyes. I had to follow up with my family Dr. to tell me it was allergies! If we ever come out of this COVID nonsense I might give them another try, but as of now they are on my "Do NOT Use" List. read more

I am not happy as I have just spent 3 hours of unnecessary afternoon rush hour driving with my sick family due to ConvenientMD in Nashua. We had an online consultation at 2pm telling our viral symptoms of covid and this went fine, and the doctor recommended a test for covid 19, strep and the flu. Next however, instead of being asked to do the testing at our local convenient MD in Nashua (they said they had a staff shortage), they said we had to drive 40 minutes in rush hour traffic and do the testing at the convenientMD in Manchester. So we did that with my young sick family, and got there and they said they can't do the 3 tests. So they called back to nashua who said we could go and do the tests there. So we drove back 40 minutes in rush hour traffic and went to the nashua convenientMD and they said they could not give us the tests today, and to come back tomorrow (and wait for at least an hour in the car park tomorrow for the tests). I talked to the manager at nashua convenientMD and she was not apologetic nor sympathic to my afternoon of unnecessary driving with my young sick family. This could have been prevented with better management and at least the manager should have offered an apology or sympathy at the ordeal she had put my young sick family through. read more

Brought my teenage daughter there in January. In September I received a charge on my debit card for nearly $100. I called to question charges and had to leave a message for someone to call me back. The following week I received a statement with a note stating I would be autobilled in 2 weeks. So I called again only to have to leave yet another message. The bills were supposed to go to my ex. After insurance, there should not have been additional charges. I should not have been billed 8 months later. I did not agree or signup for any autopay. Not that I should have even been billed, but They should have sent a bill prior to charging me anything so that I knew what I was being billed for and for how much. I question their billing methods and the legality of how this was all handled. I regret going there and will never go there again. read more

Convenient MD was understaffed, I went 3 days in a row to avoid paying a $400 co pay that i have to pay at the ER. Just to get an X-ray. Well it seems they X-rayEd my lumbar spine when I clearly said that I fell on my thoracic spine. And they said the X-rays were negative. not only the NP but the X-ray tech who looks at the X-rays after. Trying to get a copy for my orthopedic doctor 2 days later was not possible because, again there was no one on staff that could do this. I was sent to Bedford NH where they made me a copy, returned to Nashua for my appointment one hour later. My doctor had to take new images of my thoracic spine where she found a compression fracture, clearly seen even by me on the X-ray s. No I would never go there again! The money I "saved" which I will pay after all +, was not worth the pain I've been going through... I will say, the staff were all very friendly and courteous. Just too busy!! read more
