We hired JM Drafting & Contracting, LLC to build an addition at our home while we were living in…read moreit. We paid $191k out of a $192k contract. After months of awful communication, not knowing when subcontractors were going to show up, multiple subcontractors stating they were not getting paid, and leaving parts of our house in hazardous conditions. At the same time, I have two young children living here (and asking multiple times to come to fix the issue and despite he said multiple times he was coming to fix it, never showed up), I contacted the Attorney General when I did not hear from JMDC for 2 weeks. JMDC then had his lawyer write back which contained false claims on how I was delaying the project, and when I wrote back with my texts and emails proving what he said was false (example, JMDC says we changed the siding color 3 times after it was ordered and installed when we have photos showing it was installed once and we never changed it), I was reported to the police for "harassment". The police told me we should no longer contact each other but let our lawyers handle it. JMDC then terminated our contract and his contract states when JMDC terminates, we are owed the money back for work not completed. JMDC lawyer reached out to mine for settlement last month, but we have not heard back regarding the demands we gave which was to cover the cost of work not completed as well as fixing work that was done incorrectly. Since then, his company website is no longer live as well as their Instagram company page has been removed. EDIT: Google keeps taking my review down and Yelp put my other review in the "not recommended" category. How can I warn other customers of a company who has been mistreating customers for years? Just trying to get my money back. Interesting how the response says nothing about that. Also interesting the the police told JMDC not to contact us, yet the "project manager" called my phone and my husbands phone afterwards. The dumpster company that JMDC used for our property also told us yesterday (we called them to rent a dumpster for trash on our property) that they also have not heard from JMDC and are owed money.

I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. Dale was involved during the entire process and the stone mason and carpenter he brought in were great. The porch and stone work turned out better than we expected. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.
