I came here to renew my BLS. They said they offered a class at 9am. Unfortunately I got lost on my way over there and arrived 8mins late. I waited a while in the front lobby to be assisted, but no one was there. As I spoke up to see if I could be assisted, an older lady SLOWLY approached me with a serious face & asked what I was there for. I told her I was there for. 9am class but that unfortunately I had gotten lost on my way over. She said they had a 15mins Grace period, so I said ok, it has not been 15mins so if it was ok for me to join the class. She then stood there and looked at me. I had to ask if she could ask, she then walked SLOWLY over to the class and asked, & she stated they would no longer take me. Why then say they have a 15minute grace period, when in reality they don't. Makes no sense! I understand I was late, however I was still within the "grace period " Whatever !.. will definitely NOT be recommending nor will I ever return to this place! read more

I went for my CPR renewal on 5/22/14. There is adequate parking for the different offices in the building which is always a big plus. The actual renewal process was a breeze. Because the instructors were practically strangers to me I was relaxed and open to the learning process. It was stress free and the class size was smaller so we had our own mannequins to practice on. If you bring your own CPR book you get a $10 discount. It's good we can sign out one from my job for free. I'd definitely come and do my CPR renewals here from now on. read more

My experience here was not great. The instructor was over an hour late for the class, and the staff allowed me to sit there for half an hour with no explanation (I was the only one taking the class). When I finally went out to make sure they didn't forget about me, the receptionist was very rude. The instructor was condescending and bad mouthed other students from previous classes and commented on how fat my wrists were. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was the sweet girl that worked in the office that started the videos for me and apologized for my inconvenience. Take your money elsewhere! read more

This is my third time being here to renew my blcs/CPR card. I've had no problems with it, you had to watch videos and practice on a mannequin which is hard but no one shouts at you. Sometimes I have trouble but the guy still passes you, he just advises to try with a little more strength. At the end you take a test and I honestly don't know how many your allowed to miss because once I was so hungry I filled in any answer and I still passed, I don't know how much I missed but he said to study more. I attend the one from 9am to 1pm and by noon my stomach is growling, so grab a but to eat before class so you can be focused. If you have the book it's $45, If you don't its $61. read more

I attended their BAM class and I don't regret coming here. I had an awesome instructor Mr.Gerber that made class interesting and stress free. The only down fall was finding this place.I parked in the liquor store parking lot only to find out it was next door.... Price wasn't bad at all. my co nurses already advised me not to ever make a mistake of attending a BLS class at continue CPR. I asked them why and most of them said " trust us and if you don't you will find it out for yourself like we did hahaha". but since its location is the one closest to me i went anyway coz im thinking what could possibly be difficult in getting a BLS card right? well i did find it out..if you guys notice the NO STRESS EDUCATION at their website. please don't believe it because you will discover the opposite - BLS NOT MADE EASY BUT VERY VERY VERY STRICT AND DIFFICULT! Please also note that if u have any recent back injury and still having some residual difficulty exerting a lot of effort during chest compression. please don't come to the class because the biggest and largest instructor over there who happend to be also the son of the owner will just gonna kick u out of the place despite your explanation. his dad owner also present won't mind it while his son throws you out of the class just by not being able to strongly compress the mannequin to his satisfaction. if u are asking if i refunded my money. i did not because that's my way of saying thank you to them for this terrible and memorable experience. I came here for my IV Certification & Blood Withdrawl course and BLS recert. For our IV cert. we received a study guide and lecture followed by hands on training for each day of the program. Our instructor, Liz, was super helpful and knowledgeable, answered any and all questions. This place was recommended to me not only because it's certified by the board of nursing, but because it's inexpensive compared to other places I searched for. If you plan on taking the recert BLS course, bring your manual if you have one, from the year 2010. It'll save you extra cash to bring your own. I am definitely planning on attending more courses in the immediate future. read more

You can see them as strict, but if u go to a CPR class and can't perform basic CPR cuz ur back; that's like going to the gym with a bad back. You can't do it!! I have attended this BCLS class several times and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Elizabeth and Matthew are excellent instructors and the class is fantastic and highly informative. I dont agree with the previous review that indicated that this place isnt legitimate. Elizabeth offers many classes(ACLS, PALS, NRS, NCLEX review, Vocational nursing courses, ect.) and is highly accredited. I can't rate their actual teaching skills or location because I couldn't get that far. I called on a Friday inquiring about skills check off for BLS for the next day. I stated what I needed and the receptionist had me repeat it again. I had to further explain that I was going to take the online portion at home. I just needed a time and she said anytime between 9-1 which was the time of the class, then she said maybe I should just be there at 9 in case I needed to take the class. What? They had a price for skills check off so this shouldn't be such a hard concept. I called back this morning and asked for a time again. She remembered me calling and got my info to call me back. I called back an hour later and someone else answered. She came back on the line and said the instructor said it was ok but they were still waiting for approval from someone else. So my day is ticking away as well as my options to go somewhere else. I just called another place and got my answer for a time within 30 seconds. read more

I highly recommend this place. Staff are all helpful and caring. When they say they are a stress free place they mean it. Was my first time doing BLS and i was a bit nevous and the girl at the front desk ...I think her name is April, very sweet person and very approachable. She told me not to worry that the instructors was great and she was right. She really made me feel comfortable. They gave me all the information i needed to understand and apply CPR. I was referred to this Business by some other colleagues. They couldn't stop talking about how professional the instructors were as well as how much fun the classes were as well. I started going and they were so right! I have taken classes from the owners as well as the son for years. They all expected me to meet the standards of practiced be able to do what they trained me to do. It could mean life, injury or death to someone. They made my learning experiences fun! I recommend them without reservation. I have called and scheduled way in advance, and recently called them and was able to be fitted in a class they were having in several hours!
