The building in itself is only 2 floors & it looks like it's built in the 1970's because it appears it has that original yellow green paint from that era. But in all honesty, what matters is what is being offered. It's a small class of only 6 students (could accommodate up to 10) in a small classroom. Nicole, our instructor is a Respiratory Therapist by trade & is confident & knowledgeable in her teaching the class. No muss no fuss. Its STRESS FREE---entirely the reason I opted to elect this place instead of taking it at my job site. It is not economically sound but I value my comfort over anxiety if I am to do recertification every 2 years! We were shown videos/instructions in addition to her teaching & the CPR dummies are provided for demonstration & we paired up to demonstrate skills. It was performed at ease & it is what I appreciated. Most importantly, Nicole made herself available for questions & clarifications with the post test--thank goodness. Once again, easy-peasy lemon squeezey, loved this portion! Will definitely return & recommend this site. *****CAUTION****** **NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE** I had to take the stairs with my bum knee (LOL). Hey it was okay, I just took my time. Used to take it in Long Beach (991 Medical) for convenience & closer to home but in comparison this place, Elite ROCKS! Really glad & very satisfied I tried it here. Doesn't sound bad at all I think. Biola has lots of open space. We could see students eating, studying, laying down on the grass relaxing, taking a rest, eating, and studying. It was great to see the students having the opportunity to do that. It is a closed campus, which I like. Just another measure of protection. Checking in at the gate with the security guard could take a minute so be patient and get there a few minutes early. Students and staff go through the other side of the gate. Lots of good information was put out. We were able to ask questions if we wanted to. Very nice and relaxing tour. Very well explained. They were all very polite and respectful. The food at the cafeteria was actually really good lol. I really enjoyed it. Good pizza, delicious ice cream, and tasty cookies lol.

The Crowell School of Business is lackluster and is a microcosm of some the worst parts of Christianity. They claim to give students a premier education. However, my kid was harrased and bullied by not 1 but 2 business professors - Jake Aguas and Steve Tierney. To the Crowell School of Business. I understand that no professor is perfect, However, a business school that claims to give students a "premier education", should understand that bullying and discriminating business students is not okay. Also, your accounting professor Steve Tierney has no office hours! It's no wonder that students have done poorly in his accounting class! I recommend that if you are going to have business students pay an extreme amounts of money, make sure your professors are attentive to their students.

Come to find out, my physical textbook didn't correspond to the online textbook. Paragraphs were missing in each chapter, or data statistics were not the same. The textbook was sold to me was published in 2022 and the online textbook was published in 2024. I scratch notes and make highlights physically into my book to help me study information l, hence why I purchased the textbook. When attempting to fill in information that was missing, it became ok much to do in each chapter. I informed my professor that I am getting chapter questions incorrect due to questions being asked that were not in my physical textbook. My professor's response was "...printed textbooks are published every 3 to 4 years. By the time it gets to print what was written is 9 months old before the actual publish date... Unfortunately, we cannot stop the world from changing." Is this something where I say "you're right Professor. What was I thinking?" Why do I spend money on outdated material? It appears that the material is sold at the Fullerton College bookstore because the professor approved it. I ask again, why do I have an outdated textbook that was sold to me by the school?

Very weird and sketchy program…read more As someone who is a pre-nursing student, I was looking for programs that provide free CNA training to boost up my applications for nursing school. I found this through a couple Google searches and I fault myself for not doing much research but I was drawn to the fact that it was free and sort of local and they offer job placement after. I called them to schedule an appointment with them since you can sign up in person. When I went there, I did the applications and the program director takes my social security number and my ID to make a photocopy of it. This is usually a normal process but then she "forgets" to give it back to me. Nothing alarming about that at first since mistakes happen. I ask her can I have my ID and SSN back? And she's like oops. She tells me to buy scrubs since we needed it for the second day of the class. I went home and immediately bought it on Amazon. Fast forward next week, I get a text saying I got accepted into the program. Cool. I was excited to start my nursing journey basically. I had my scrubs and everything ready. Then 2 days before school starts I get a text saying the class is cancelled indefinitely. I tried to reach them in every possible medium I could find--phone, text message and each time I get an automated message saying they are busy with their students or I get ghosted on text. I just wanted to get more clarification on what happened. I don't know what they're doing with my social security number and ID but I hope they destroy it. I can't seem to sleep each night because I'm scared of being a victim of identity theft.

He made going to class so much fun and encourages learning through fun methods and sharing personal experiences. It is very evident that he cares about what he does and values what he teaches, which is very infectious and makes his students care more about what they're learning as well. The school gives you the option to pay for tuition after graduating, or you can work for one of their facilities for one year to pay off your tuition! The only thing you need to cover are the costs of scrubs and vaccinations in the beginning, which are very low. Lots of good food in the area as well haha.
