I hired this firm back in 2022 for divorce case. it was a disaster to say the least. they took my 5000 fee and deducted all the amount on phone calls I made to follow up on case that went nowhere unless i paid them extra 5000. If I can just put 000 stars I would but the system does not allow you to write anything without putting at least one star. Worst law firm these people are running a scam with the clients. They will deplete your money and then they will keep asking for more and more money and they will keep dragging this for a long time. I am going for one year and I have submitted all the paper work to the court and all they did was to set appointments to talk to the attorney I was assigned which by the way is the worst family attorney you can find or have her name is Supatra Cooper and she will talk to me and tell me what I want to hear but at the end is like we say actions they speak louder than any word, she would not do anything for me. So I took the case myself and she told me that I was violating the ethics rules of her office and she withdrew her self out of the case for falling to do what I want so she actually ran with my money. There was nothing but just to call the other attorney and ask the attorney are we going to trial or not but is not good to ask that question to opposing party because they are both in the same boat working as friends and not defending you as a person. I even was advice to do something by my paralegal that later Supatra Cooper tells me is not legal to do. I had to laugh when she said that to me, because I told Supatra your telling me that your office is giving me ilegal advices? She did not say much but she is a compulsive liar and the thing is that these attorneys they know the entire system so they get cover. This is not justice or this is a corrupted system is my conclusion. After I filed a complaint with the other of this firm who assigned me to Supatra Cooper I asked the owner to assigned me of another of her attorneys and she ignore my request and complain and withdrew her self out of the case in other words she stole my money because they do not do much for me. But then when you or the client complains they see that the problem is the client but never the attorney. I field a complaint to the judge before they withdrew out of my case and I guess the judge also as well did ignore my request of conducting a full investigation in my case and my submitted allegation with evidence and the judge she still granted Supatra and her team to just run out of the case with whatever her allegations were, but I also wrote a complaint to the Florida Bar with my allegations and supporting emails coming from Supatra Cooper and the law firm who she works for including my request to the owner of the firm who is usually who the client speaks to first who later assigned the case to one of the attorney that works for her. Look even if this case will go my way, I would still give this firm a 0 because they do not do much they are just wasting time and your money. They will drag this forever, until the client runs out of money. Again in my case I am ready and now I have to look for an attorney because either this is broken system in which everyone knows each other or the law is only bend one way or goes only one direction. I am now speaking to several attorneys but my intentions are going to trial because I believe that's the only way we can finish this. I cannot continue giving money away. If you are in search of a family law attorney and reading this review, I can only assume that you're going through an extremely vulnerable & stressful time in your life and in need of council that represents and fights for your children as if they were their own-- just as I was when I found Conti Moore Firm. If you identify at all with the above, please, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, psychologically and financially, & DO YOUR RESEARCH so you can make an informed decision when deciding (& paying) for such a CRUCIAL element in your family law matters. If that statement wasn't enough to deter you from Conti Moore law firm, I get it as the handful of negative reviews that I had read, too, unfortunately, wasn't enough to discourage me either--HOWEVER, I significantly paid the consequences. I hired the big-name law firm just to get passed off to an "associate" fresh out of law school-- meaning less experienced and versed, while still paying the super lawyer prices. Originally, what attracted my attention to Conti Moore Law, was CONTI'S "Superb Avvo rating and Super Lawyer 4 years in a row" title. Again, despite the handful of NEGATIVE REVIEWS, the wealth of information that I could attain at my fingertips, and the hundreds of other HIGHLY RATED, experienced and SUCCESFUL attorneys I could have looked into--I naively went with masses of positive reviews as I was sold on a "dream" of a "Super Lawyer" accolade. In my defense, I was in the grips of STRESS & TURMOIL regarding my case and was desperate for relief. Little did I know of the impeding ADDITIONAL stressors, and COMPLETE disappointment that my inexperience would cost me, not only to my pocket but mentally, as well just by "choosing Moore." I called Conti's firm, had my free consultation with Conti Moore herself, to which she assured me that she would handle my case with care. What I didn't realize, is that once I signed the documents and paid my $4k retainer plus a filing fee, my case would immediately be handed off to her associate, Amina, who is fresh out of law school (which can be confirmed by searching her on Florida bar website). Immediately, I was concerned and scheduled a call, as this was not who I intended to be represented by nor why I chose to pay the high retainer in the first place. However, during the call, Conti assures me that while Amina would be handling my case, they use a "team" system, meaning Conti is "heavily" involved in all cases. Fast forward many months later, over $16,000 of invoices PAID IN FULL, constantly having to call the office for my case as emails would be ignored, extremely inexperienced representation during my mediation and deposition, poor advice to not sending my child for time share, botched motions, not e-filing my updated financial affidavit of which I had paid to prepare and file. Meanwhile-- Conti Moore was nowhere to be found. Amina had me backed so far into a corner regarding my case, I just paid the "last" $1,200 invoice (Again, $16k+ total paid in full and always early) just to end the nightmare. Then, I retained a lawyer who had 15+ years' experience AND charged less. Shortly after retaining my new counsel, I received ANOTHER bill from Conti Moore around $700. In comparison to what I had already paid, this was nothing, but out of SHEER principle, I had to reach out to the firm, who FINALLY put me in contact with Conti of which I explained the absurdity of the invoice with hopes of understanding and realizing that billing me this was just ethically wrong. But I also, told her that I would pay it if she really deemed it fit, but then I would leave a review on my experience. Within the first 5 minutes of the call with Conti, she says that she will waive the bill, though by the end she was threatening blackmail/extortion. Truthfully, I was completely shocked by her accusation especially considering, despite all the issues I had with her firm, I was a respectful client and paid EVERY invoice immediately. SO, instead of continuing to engage in Conti's bullying tactics, (though I couldn't help but wonder, WHERE WAS THIS AGGRESSIVENESS when I needed it in my case), I sent a final email asking if she was going to honor her word by waiving the fee, and if not to please let me know so I can pay my bill and move on. A few days later, still never hearing back from Conti, I did receive a bill that stated a $0 balance (which of course I screenshotted and saved), so I was thinking Conti honored her word, so, let's just leave this nightmare in the past... Low and behold, several months later after hearing nothing, I receive the $700 bill, that was in question, however now the bill reads $775 due to interest from late payment fees! I messaged accounting, along with my screen shot of the $0 balance bill and have yet to hear anything further... In the end, I paid the bill (plus interest), putting around $17K in Conti laws pocket and almost an additional year of added stress to my case. I have exceeded character limit.... read more

Wish I had a better experience with this law firm. I called and was given the option for a 15 min free consultation with Conti. I was not informed of the other options to have a longer session. I'm not really familiar with the legal process. Once the time came for my appointment Conti had a very cold feel to her, very insensitive which I thought was odd for a family law lawyer. Very rushed and I felt like an inconvenience. She stated that I should have booked a longer consultation when I still had time remaining on my current appointment but I was not given the option initially or I would have done so. I took them on as a Lawyer due to me thinking that maybe she was the tough cookie I needed to be on the case and to not allow my initial feelings to dictate the best lawyer to get the job done plus the reviews were good! Moving forward, I called the following Monday to check my status to see what the next step would be and I was then told that they could not take my case due to a Conflict of Interest. This check was supposed to be done prior but there seemed to be a system flaw. I was told that Conti would call me in 10-15 minutes to go over the reasoning but I never received a call as of yet. The receptionist was amazing yet it still puts me in a bad situation because now I have to wait for the $4500 to hit my account from the refund which could take 5-7 days which puts me in a pickle to pay my next retainer for a new Lawyer. I had to get another consultation from another lawyer which I had to pull an additional $300.00 from my account. This could be a very serious concern for someone who will not have the financial means to pay for another retainer whilst awaiting for a 5-7 day refund. Not to mention that I only have 20 calendar days to respond back to the order. She may be a great person to represent you, I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that this does not happen to another person! read more

Handled my divorce poorly.  Seemed to have a good strategy at first, but really was only reactive to other attorney's motions/suggestions.  Poor communicator, poor listener, and passive-aggressive.  Even after I paid a significant amount of money (greater than $15K), started to hear how "everything cost money" and that she needed me to pay my remaining outstanding balance (which was a relatively small amount relative to what I had already paid) because she had to pay for her office.  Still not divorced.  Would not recommend. read more

This legal group advocates for the opposing party and charges exorbitant legal fees with no results for the party they represent. They are also not transparent with their billing practices. They quote a price and bill another. Their communication style is poor as well. You will need to repeat the same information via email and phone so that they can charge you more. They also host surprise meetings with multiple lawyers so that they can double bill. They delay completing legal actions and providing invoices. read more

The Conti Moore law firm had really good reviews, which made me feel comfortable hiring them to represent me in my child custody case. Unfortunately, once I paid my retainer, an employee of the firm stole my personal financial information and used that information multiple times to commit fraud. Conti Moore Employee Kristina Rodriguez stole my debit card information and committed fraud by using my card to order merchandise on her Amazon account. (This has been confirmed by Amazon). The misuse of my information by an employee of Conti Moore has greatly inconvenienced and created multiple hardships for me. To begin, their failure to safeguard my personal information caused me to lose confidence in their legal ability. This has forced me to try to find other legal representation, which has proven difficult. Given the time frame involved, their malpractice has forced me to scramble to find another attorney. In addition, I was not able to pay the retainer for any other firm until I received my refund from Conti Moore, which I did receive but not soon enough to enable me to hire another attorney. Because of that, I no longer have a lawyer to represent me in my child custody case. The well being of my child is the most important thing in my life and the criminal actions of a Conti Moore employee has now placed that in jeopardy. The identity theft committed against me happened on Labor Day weekend. Once my debit card was compromised, I had to cancel it. My account is with a military based credit union that is primarily online without many local branches. Therefore I had to wait 7 to 10 business days for a new card. I'm a single mother and I wasn't able to provide for my daughter directly due to the actions of the Conti Moore firm.
