I used Mrs Johnson in hopes of obtaining a modification of a parenting plan. I was asked to pay $8700 which would entail a modification. During this time after money was paid, Miss Johnson made me aware that due to the Florida laws. She cannot modify the parenting plan. instead she used all of my money just for emails and other unnecessary things. She also represented me one time in the court room, which was when she fumbled on her words, and seemed as if she was drunk and didn't make any sense. So bad that the opposing parties lawyer stopped her and asked the judge what she was talking about. I would not recommend her to anyone. She says she is a shark. She says that she is the greatest in Orlando. But she has failed miserably in what she did. She primarily wants to take your money and then claim irreconcilable differences when terminated . This is not an angry review this is the reality of the money she used and how she used it for her own gain . Do not believe her when she says she is the best in Orlando and knows all the judges personally. Her one time representing me showed her lack of ability to represent. I hired Ms. Debra Johnson in the middle of my child custody case after having to fire my previous attorney for Multiple reasons. Switching attorneys was a very scary process for me because I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to do it being a low income single mom, but I thank God that I did! My previous attorney that I had for the first year failed to provide all necessary documentation for Ms. Johnson to get caught up to speed on my case but that did not stop her. My child's father had supervised visitations throughout this whole process for numerous reasons and each time he and his attorney filed to get unsupervised visitations, she did everything to make sure it got denied.
