From the moment I walked in for my breast surgery consultation, they greeted me with such kindness. you could really tell they're a great team there. it felt very comfortable and easy. Dr. H. was so nice and listened to everything I said; my concerns, questions, and what I was looking for as far as an outcome we're considered and talked throughly. he was very informative and helpful (as the rest of the staff was as well) and made me feel very comfortable. the PA, Gabby was great! she was so sweet, funny, and incredibly explanatory when it came to each and every process concerning the procedure. even when I needed help or had questions about pre surgery and post surgery things, she was happy to talk to me over the phone and walk me through everything when needed. Gem, the receptionist was always on point, making sure I got called back when needed, helped direct me where I needed to be, and was so sweet and patient each time I needed to reschedule! she was also so comforting and lovely pre and post surgery, when it came to any questions or concerns. i am forty years old, mom of three who wanted breast implants to help put volume back into my breasts where it clearly lacked from three pregnancies and breast feeding for the past seven years. I am incredibly happy with my results! it was the best thing I've ever done- hands down, and i couldn't be more grateful to have had the team from Contemporary Plastic Surgery during this process. I have been seeing Dr. H & Yelena Barsky (medical aesthetician) for 4 years. I am lucky to have found a skilled, knowledgeable and honest practice in an industry that can be very scary if someone doesn't know what they are doing. You will not look over-filled or frozen. As natural looking as it gets I think. I met this doctor because I needed to have surgery and So I can add that he is a skilled surgeon and the whole process was smooth from the beginning to end. Yelena will give your skin life. If you go for the dermasweep facial (which is medical grade bc this is a doctors office) every few months, your skin will transform. She also has several great laser and light therapy treatments that have worked nicely in fading the melasma on my face. If you come here, you will have a very good experience. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I chose to have a particular surgery done, went to a few different consultations to get a feel and I immediately knew Dr.Herbstman was the one I trusted. He is so personable and very thorough with your appointments. He takes his time and answers all the questions/concerns you may have. Once it was time for surgery I was as nervous as could be but Dr. Herbstman helped calmed my nerves while in the OR. I had a breast reduction done here, and had several issues afterwards. It has taken me YEARS to write this, and have even contacted them about how unhappy I was recently and Dr. H's response was less than kind. I had a breast augmentation that was supposed to take 4-5ish hours, and took a little over 8. No biggie there. When we did the pre-surgery paperwork, I was told a possible complication was a nipple dying and falling off, however in 30 years and hundreds of surgeries this NEVER happened. Dr. H stressed how rare it was and how it wouldn't happen. Well guess what? I was the first. My nipple turned black, and died and needed several follow up appointments for Dr. H to pull the dead flesh off of my breast. One appointment was canceled because he had a family emergency. I never heard back, so I called once again, and my call was never returned. I actually had to finish pull the dead flesh off myself. It was extremely painful and traumatizing. Literally black, dead, flesh with puss. I now have nothing there and to say it looks awful is a gross understatement. I recently reached out because they never followed up, and let them know how terrible this was, and was basically told 'well we are at the same office, with the same number, you should have kept calling'. You'd think that this was the FIRST time this EVER happened to them, they would have been more concerned? But nah. On TOP of that, I was presented with a massive bill after surgery to cover the extra anesthesia since it went over time (Roughly $800) and was promised a refund on that, but not surprisingly, never got it. So I spent roughly $12k to be unhappy with how I look. To be told that I was in the wrong for not calling MORE was really a slap in the face on top of a botched surgery with an awful outcome. read more

We spoke with Diana on the phone who gave an estimate for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation of approximately $8500. We had to pay $100 up front to meet the Dr. (who was very nice). In a car dealer like hustle you are move from room to room finally ending up in dianas office to "crunch the numbers". At this point we learned of all sorts of hidden fees. These fees made the total cost of the surgery over $16000 .... Yes $16000.... Up $7500 from the phone estimate. It cost me $100 and a wasted vacation day (had to take off to keep appointment) to visit the Dr.. I feel this is a scam . read more

Doctor H. Is an amazing doctor, a true artist...he has transformed my stomach and my breasts and I can't believe how amazing I look and feel in my body. I had 4 children which stretched out my stomach and breasts with a tummy tuck in 2012 and a breast lift 3 weeks ago he has made me feel like I am 20 again. 2/21/14 I highly recommend Dr. Herbstman to perform any plastic surgery procedure. He is honest, patient, thorough and extremely talented. When I was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cells in my breast I scheduled many consultations with plastic surgeons throughout NJ. By far he was the best one. I have been to the office almost a dozen times for a breast reconstruction procedure. Through such a difficult and unexpected time, Dr. Herbstman, Diana(medical billing coordinator) and the remaining staff have been flawless. The office is organized with appts. running on time and you are always greeted with a smile. I feel their rates are more than competitive while getting an A+ result. Due to the beautiful result I achieved with my procedure, I already booked another for a different area of my body. I have also referred my husband and numerous friends to him. He is a genius.
