It scares the crap out of me. Especially if you have a very impatient dentist who doesn't like to explain what he is doing or wants to do all these extra things that you don't necessarily need. Setting up as a new patient was super easy. I went on their website, printed out a new patient form, filled it out and called to make an appointment. Margie was super helpful, nice and easy to work with. I will usually ask for her if she isn't the one picking up. I had a tooth that was sensitive when I flossed. I called and scheduled an appointment with Margie. Fast forward to the day of my appointment... My first impression of Dr. Favale was that he was SUPER NICE and FRIENDLY! I told him I was super nervous and i hate going to the dentist etc... Anyway, I got some x-rays taken and yup,.. needed a filling. Had a small cavity in between my teeth. I also got some bad news about all 4 of my wisdom tooth but I wont get into that lol. Anyway, I came back after 2 weeks for my filling. Dr. Favale explained to me what he was going to do. Talked me through each step and made sure he gave enough time for the anesthesia to kick in. After the filling, he carefully looked at it and smoothed out any sharp spots. My tooth was sensitive for a few days and it eventually went away. My tooth filling experience was very pleasant. Oh! You also get a smoothie after the filling too! =) Now on to my hygienist, Carrie. Carrie is AWESOME!!!! She is probably one of my favorite hygienist. Super friendly and nice. She always have so much to talk about which helps relaxes me lol. I get goosebumps when my teeth is being scraped and it is just a very unpleasant feeling. Although it hurts a little when she's cleaning deep in the gum, it is worth it afterwards because my mouth feels super clean! If you need it, she can put a typical numbing gel to make the procedure more tolerable. She also teaches you how to floss and what kind of floss is better for your teeth. I really feel she does a great job with taking care of my teeth. Best part is leaving with a bag of goodies lol If you need fillings and cleanings done, I definitely would recommend Dr. Favale and Carrie!
