It seems that most of Owensboro's economy is moving out to highway 54. Even some of the other business on south Frederica are closing. This mall hasn't closed yet, but this past summer, a news story came out about how the bank was going to foreclose on the owners as they were behind on payments. The mall is shaped like an "X" with different anchor stores on the ends. Well, a few anchor stores. The Sears closed down & moved out about a year ago. They've got a Macy's & JC Penny as the anchors. The Macy's home goods store closed down & Burkes Outlet took its place. They had a Ruby Tuesday's which also has an outside entrance which closed down a few years ago & became a "Show-Me's" which can be best described as a low rent Hooter's. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the deadest a mall can be, I'd say this is a 6. They've still got a bunch of name brand stores, but also many empty storefronts & off brand stores like "Hi Tech Accessories". I'd heard this place had went downhill, but I was surprised how so when I came to look around about 8 years after the last time I was here. I wouldn't be surprised if they close it and put an outdoor mall area here.

Then complained that I didn't get any non foil cards. For .25 I'm only grabbing the good stuff off this dieing game. After dealing with the weird guy outside was told there were deals inside. Went and looked at slabs that psa said were $90 marked at $140 and no one would negotiate on prices. Was told the deals were on only certain things, and trade in credit could only be used on items they said it could be used on, couldn't use it on a booster box of over priced Palworld cards. Guy outside told me that they used to have a stall in the old Consumer mallI told him I used to buy cards from him, he didn't seem to care. Good to see he is still ripping everyone off that he can be it children, returning customers, new customers we are all just money to the red headed guy. Won't be coming back and would not recommend but that's me.

Prices are much lower than you would find the exact same things at some other places. I have also found many items here that I have not been able to find at any other places in town. One of my favorite things about Ollie's is that there is absolutely no other place in town I have found K-cups for Keurigs in 12-pack boxes for only $4! They have a huge selection of name brand K-cups in coffee, flavored coffees, cappuccinos, hot chocolates & tea. I come here all the time, just to see what I can find, & almost always leave with a cart full of merchandise! They also have a very wide range of toys for half of what I have found the exact same things priced at at other places. I love this store!
