We found some interesting and inexpensive stuff, like a $5 red Asian rug runner in perfect shape. It's not unlike a fleamarket and has different stall-like areas. There is an interesting clock/watch shop, another that has tons of costume jewelry. There is such a wide variety of stuff at reasonable prices, that it's tough to really describe the diversity. There are ladders and pails and tools, and flags, and so much stuff. Worth a browse if you're in the neighborhood. Totally curious, only mildly organized. That's what makes it fun, I suppose. It's about two miles W of Abyss, another interesting thrift store. They're very dissimilar. You'll see what I mean.

I'm assuming it was the owner, but I didn't like that she was a bit snotty and seemed to look down on us. Reminded me of the saleswoman in the shopping scene in Pretty Woman. Big mistake - huge!!! I won't go back. But I did spent several hundred dollars at another consignment shop in that town.

I have visited when boxes and wrappings were spread out like Christmas morning. A bit too messy, but come overlook it.

First off, great sign! However, I'm not a huge fan of the…read moreway that this flea market is set up. This is not your standard big box setup with booths filled with stuff that you put in your cart and take to the front to check out. Cowboy Jim's is more like an outdoor market with a roof. Each booth has an owner who may (or in our case, may not) be behind a register. This makes buying both easier (in that you can haggle) and more difficult. I found it less likely that I would look around with someone watching me and looking to chat. Also, if there's no one at a particular booth, you have to depend on another booth renter to both be able to tell you the price, since a lot of stuff isn't marked, and take your payment. Payment. Bring cash because a lot of these vendors don't take cards. There's an ATM at the front. The building itself is kind of quiet and dark. There is a decent amount of empty space where no booths had been set up as well as the high piles of stuff in others. We ended up having to go back due to no one being able to get the owner of the booth we needed on the phone. After the return, we made off with what I believe was a pretty good deal though, so there's that!

READ BEFORE VISITING THE CARD DISTRICT! I had a very…read moredisappointing experience at "The Card District". I initially offered to sell a box of cards to the store, but their offer was too low so I declined. While browsing, another customer asked if he could purchase the box from me and we agreed on a fair price. After doing the transaction, as I was leaving, the store owner stopped me and demanded 10% of the sale, stating that because the transaction occurred on his property, there was a fee. There were no posted signs, no verbal warning, and no prior disclosure of this policy. I was only informed after the transaction was completed. Had this been communicated beforehand, I would have simply taken the transaction outside. What made this even more frustrating was the lack of flexibility elsewhere. I asked if they could $2 on a $3 single and was immediately shut down. Combined with the situation above, it gave the impression that the shop is extremely rigid with customers while having no issue enforcing undisclosed rules when it benefits them. I also noticed customers being offered free packs for leaving 5 star reviews in store. Combined with the undisclosed 10% fee and inflexible pricing, this made the shop's practices feel more focused on appearances than transparency. Additionally, pricing throughout the store felt heavily inflated compared to the local market, with little effort to make products accessible to the community. This is not about the money. It is about transparency, fairness, and how customers are treated. I would strongly recommend clarifying policies and pricing expectations before doing business here.
