Parking will set you back about $25 a day for self parking and while you will not have any issues finding parking, there were plenty of times were we ended up on the opposite end of where the hotel entrance was. More often that not, the parking spots are extremely tight- even for our HONDA CRV so we opted to go further back to ensure comfortability coming in and out. To simplify, come willing to do some walking. This hotel setup reminded me so much of our family stays in Hawaii. The landscape is beautifully spacious, clean, and there is no shortage of seating. There is even an indoor fountain. One of the main perks of staying on the property is Embassy Suites' complimentary breakfast. Here you will find typical breakfast items: cereals, eggs, bacon or sausage, but the what brings on the long lines would 100% be the omelet station where you can customize your eats how you see fit. This is one of the better complimentary breakfasts that I've been offered. The rooms in itself are okay. We ran into a few issues while we stayed here. One being our tissue box literally having only one sheet of tissue in it. It was very obvious that the box was empty and the staff didn't even bother to change it out or leave a backup box. Secondly, there was a quinceanera celebration going on during our stay. We unfortunately sat right above the site where it was being hosted. All evening we heard loud music, obnoxious party goers- this made it super hard for my toddler to actually fall asleep. Third, The elevators on one side was out of service, leaving everyone to flock over to the opposing side. This caused for so much traffic and delays- so much so, we decided to skip breakfast that morning. Staff, guests, and maintenance personnel all rushing to get where they needed to be was not the business. Easily a 4 star rating but I decided to deduct one due to the issues. I'm still a fan and could totally see myself staying here again.

After stepping into the lobby around 9pm, I did not see anyone attending the front desk and even started questioning myself if maybe I was at the wrong spot. But after about 10 mins of hopelessly saying "hello?" In an empty lobby, I was greeted by what might have been the most unenthusiastic employee I have ever met at ANY business. For starters, she stepped out of the back room yawning as if I was interrupting her sleep, with eyes struggling to stay open. Then while completing the check-in process I would ask standard guest questions like breakfast hours, pool hours and easiest access to the rooms but felt uncomfortable having to wait for the front desk worker to stop yawning before taking a moment to answer my questions. I would understand if it were super late, but as I said, I was checking in around 9-930pm, a reasonable time. And finally, the moment I knew I could no longer stay at this establishment was when my wife woke me up at 3am after using the restroom to tell me about the roach infestation. Im not sure how I didnt notice it initially, but once I saw the roaches myself crawling up the bathroom walls, on the corners of the room and near the sink area. I immediately contacted embassy suites customer support hotline to file my complaint about the whole experience, only to be told "record the roaches as proof " then be given 1,000 hilton points as a courtesy for my inconvenience. . . . . . Of course they offered to move me to another room, but relocating to what might have been another roach infested room wasn't appealing to me . So instead, I marched down to the front desk and asked to cancel my stay completely and surprisingly wasn't given a hard time . The front desk worker wasn't even shocked when I told them the room was infested and I didnt want to stay anymore . Overall, this hotel managed to leave a very poor impression on me in only a few hours which will be a huge deciding factor when selecting a hotel for future stays.

The rooms are huge and nice. There is an outdoor and indoor pool. There is the free breakfast and the evening managers reception. Just a solid Hilton property that is perfect for me for the event I need it.

I used digital check in and to my surprise, my room was ready by noon (well before the 4pm check in). I was not in the best mood due to the 90+ degree heat and all the driving I had to do when I arrived, the staff at the front desk were quick to help me with a parking pass and I liked that there were plenty of parking spaces (and glad the parking spaces were in a structure that is covered). The room itself was clean and nice. I appreciated the extra towels and plenty of pillows on the bed. I had a very pleasant nap before my next meeting with my customer. The extra outlets everywhere is much appreciated, and the wifi was plenty fast for me to do a bit of work in the room. I came back later that night and slept very well, as the AC was plenty strong even with the Irvine heat. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, I liked that all the tables were clean, and there were plenty of hot and cold options for breakfast. Along with plenty of coffee. I had to leave early in the morning, so I appreciate the very early breakfast hours of 6am on M-F and 6:30am on weekends. I can't really think of anything wrong with my stay, I didn't interact with the staff much as I was so tired and stressed from the work day. The only thing I can comment on is if the parking spaces can be a little bigger, my rental car fit just fine but I noticed the SUVs and pickup trucks were having trouble fitting in the spaces. And of course, $37 a night for parking is a bit steep.

It honestly felt like they were using a cable box from 20 years ago. We were especially excited to use the swimming pool, but were very disappointed when we saw how murky and cloudy the water was. We checked it around 5 PM after checking in and hoped it would be cleaned by the next day, but unfortunately, it still looked the same. We never felt comfortable getting in. There were a few positives. The location is great -- only about 10 minutes from Disneyland Resort -- and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I can also imagine the shuttle service ($7/day for all-day service) being very convenient, although we didn't get a chance to use it. I also really liked the layout of the room with the separate bedroom, which was nice for our stay. Overall, though, the cleanliness and maintenance issues really took away from the experience. From the greeting to the complimentary breakfast and coffee, to the Wednesday social happy hour with appetizers, Rose, Anna, and Anthony were incredible. When I explained that I was taking my sister-friend on a short trip in A/C (she lives in Pomona, where it was 100+F!) - they went above and beyond. Birthday gift basket, late checkout, anything we needed, they were there. I could go on and on, but if you're a Hilton person, then you already know. Clean, safe, decor and design always stellar. If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would.

This is the one of the few times where my selected room was the actual room I received upon arrival. Each time we needed assistance, the attendants quickly tended to us without issue. We arrived at around 9pm. The attendants at the front desk gave such great customer service. Their welcome/check-in spiel was clear, informative, and did not come off as rushed. When they saw that I was staying with my dog, they immediately invited us to bring my dog to the front for her to select a complimentary toy and treat. A first out of all the Homewood Suites I've stayed at! The free breakfast selections were great - eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, bagels, etc. There is a game room with billiards, giant Jenga, Connect 4, and shuffleboard. The pool area has a ping pong table and giant chess. The 24/7 fitness room is spacious with working equipment. I would definitely stay here again for the customer service alone. Homewood Suites Anaheim Resort - Convention Center has become our family's go-to hotel for…read moreDisneyland trips, and with three kids, it solves the accommodation problem better than almost any other Hilton property we've found in the area. The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC

Here is where our only issue was. The two elevators available took AGES to come down and up. They moved sooo slow so there would be a long line that would accumulate... You can't access the main parking area until you have your room key, so you first have to park in the upper lot near the lobby, check in, and then get back in your car and drive down to the actual parking area. This was not made particularly clear beforehand. Check-in itself was chaotic and stressful. There didn't seem to be an organized line, so people were essentially lining up wherever. Even once I got to the counter, I stood there for several more minutes while the employee typed away at the computer before we actually started the check-in process. During check-in, I was also repeatedly encouraged to decline housekeeping in exchange for Hilton points. I said no the first time, and then it was pitched to me again. I said no again and made it clear that I wanted housekeeping. Having to repeatedly decline an upsell while simply trying to check into my room was frustrating. Another thing to be aware of: the elevators are quite far from the front of the hotel, which could be a real issue for anyone who is disabled or has difficulty walking. There are also only two elevators, and they feel old and rickety. There was apparently a large football-related event happening at the hotel during my stay, which I was never told about at check-in. When I returned to the hotel around midnight on my first night, there was actually a LINE just to get on the elevator. People were packing themselves into it, and given the condition of the elevators, it honestly felt a little unsafe. As for the room, there are some positives. It's a nice size and the bed is comfortable. Unfortunately, everything else has been strange. The air conditioning barely works, and apparently I'm not alone because other guests were actually discussing the same problem while we were packed into the elevator. The shower has the opposite problem: the water pressure is so incredibly strong it feels like you're showering under Niagara Falls. Also, hot is cold and cold is hot. I had to look up Yelp reviews to not scald myself. The final straw was being jolted awake at 6:00 AM by the room's alarm clock. Apparently the previous guest had set it, and it was never reset before I checked in. Nothing like being awakened by a blaring alarm you didn't set while staying at a hotel. Overall, the hotel feels like an older property that has been remodeled without addressing some of the underlying issues. Between paying $39 per night just to park, the confusing parking setup, chaotic check-in, repeated housekeeping pitch, elevator situation, barely functioning AC, and being unnecessarily woken up at 6 AM, this has been far more stressful than a hotel stay should be. I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Frank Atayde, the General Manager, and his team member (I wish I could remember her name!) were super friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely hospitable (I wasn't surprised because they were also Filipino!). From the moment I checked-in to check-out, the service exceeded my expectations and made me feel valued as a guest. I had also read a few Yelp reviews regarding the hotel's cleanliness , but my experience was the complete opposite. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. As a nice surprise, I even received a small welcome gift bag at check-in! Overall, this hotel delivered excellent service, a clean and updated property, and great value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in the area.

Pricing was a little dramatic and unnecessarily high, but I think it's due to the close-to-summer season? Valet parking is pretty much required.

We had a handicap placard and they allowed us to park directly in the front which was nice, however when we checked in we walked out and let them know the keys were in the ignition and they said they had it from there.....they in fact did not. After about an hour and a half of getting settled we went back down to retrieve our car and they couldn't find the keys...come to find out THEY LEFT MY KEYS IN THE IGNITION WITH MY CAR RUNNING THE ENTIRE TIME. Nothing was missing and I was so exhausted that I let it go but when we checked out the next morning, they also had an issue getting our keys but were able to find it. Not sure what the issue was this weekend but it definitely could've been much worse and a bigger liability. Hopefully they do better.
