Kyle was the first person I met and he came out to my house, did an assessment, and got the eagle eye view of my roof done. Within a day I had a quote, thousands cheaper!!! I was a bit scared to go with a company that was $6-8 K cheaper, but I had nothing to fear. They sent me to their provider to see the tile choice I had and I chose one that I was expecting to cost a lot (pure white). They got it in quicker than expect, past every inspection as they came from the city and finished the job quietly and neatly. My driveway was perfectly in tact, they covered my pool. Looking for a Company to Reface Our Kitchen Cabinets along with Our Backroom Cabinets I came across a Yelp Friend that Promotes Factory Direct. After getting In-Contact with Daniel at Factory Direct he Scheduled Us an Appointment with Bruce the Interior Designer. Bruce came over with All Color Options, Designs, and Insight. We Fell In-Love with Everything he pitched (A Great Salesman). We pulled the Trigger with an Estimate to have the Cabinets Refaced in 2 Days, No Longer than a Week. All Cabinets were Measured and we were Introduced to Maurice the Contractor and Jason the Project Manager. They Submitted Our Order after Measuring and some Provisions to Our Kitchen such as taking out the Wine Cabinet, Placing Cabinet Doors on Our Microwave Opening, and More. We were Excited and Very Confident that this was going to be a Smooth Transaction. Once the Cabinets came in from the Manufacture, Instillation was Scheduled and Maurice began his work. Two Days turned into Two Weeks then in-turn was not Complete for Over SIX Months... With Over a Dozen Re-Orders and Send-Backs of the Cabinet Doors they still Returned to Us with Blemishes, Scratches, and Unpleasing Finished Work. On top of this Headache, Maurice was Unprofessional, Careless, Sloppy, and Disorganized which in turn falls to the Project Manger Not doing his Job or caring about the Customer. They left us with Damage to Surrounding Areas without Any Fix. We had Countless Conversations with Jason along with Bruce of which neither could find a Suitable Solution. We lived this long with Everything Out of Our Cabinets being All Over Our House. Each time Maurice came to "Fix" or Exchange the Doors a Huge Mess was left being a Huge Frustration to Us. Due to Signing a Contract with Factory Direct we were Stuck with this Vexation Day in and Day Out. Communication was Extremely Poor with Show-Up's Not Scheduled, Us Being Left in the Dark, and Pure Distrust. Permits for my project appeared to be filed through another company, M & Z Construction. My project experienced significant delays, change-order/upcharge disputes, inspection and engineering/blueprint issues, and several promised items that were never completed. Some work I ultimately completed myself to move the project forward. During disputes over these issues, the possibility of a construction lien was also raised. When I later sold the property, the closing attorney flagged concerns regarding the contractor/licensing structure and held part of the sale proceeds temporarily while the matter was reviewed. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to independently verify licensing, permitting, contracts, and who is actually responsible for the work / injuries / defects before making payments or signing agreements. Nick, the owner of Megapolis Construction is apparently a married man. To the licensed contractor of the Florida license he used for permits for my project. They are invested together financially but with the current structure, it seems they are able to possibly avoid any direct liability operating between 2 companies.
