Recommend not doing business here! After two negative experiences at this store, I recommend not doing business with them. Some of the staff are helpful and friendly but the owner, Maria is extremely rude and does not care about her customers. The details follow for those who wish to know more. The first problem came when we found a sofa and chair that we liked, and our condo was not ready to move in to, so we asked if they would hold these items overnight while we found a place to put them. (they would not keep them once purchase was made). They said they would hold them. The next day, my wife returned to make the purchase and they had sold them to someone else. The employee who agreed to hold them said the owner was there that morning and ordered her to sell them to another person. When the employee told the owner that she agreed to hold them for someone, the owner said "I don't care, sell them now." We should have taken this as a warning about doing business with them. A couple of weeks later, my wife found a cabinet there that she liked and agreed to buy. She handed them her credit card, and they gave her the card back with a paid receipt and they loaded the cabinet into our car. The next day, one of the employees called and said they forgot to charge the credit card, and would we come back and pay. My wife said yes, but we were moving, and would need to check our bank records first, and it would be two days before we could come in. The employee said that was o.k.. The next day the owner, Maria called and accused my wife of being a thief. My wife tried to explain what happened and Maria screamed at her over the phone and demanded that my wife come to the store immediately to pay (even though they were about to close). My wife told her that she would come in the next day to help them correct THEIR mistake. Maria continued to yell at her and my wife hung up. Today, my wife went by to pay the bill, and again, the owner was extremely rude and accusatory, and when my wife tried to explain that we had a paid receipt and came back to settle the account anyway, Maria screamed at her to get out of the store. My wife refused to leave before paying for the cabinet, and said "I will never shop here again" and Maria screamed "I DON'T CARE, GET OUT!" One of the employees followed my wife to the car and apologized for the owner's behavior and said "she treats everyone that way". We did everything we could to do the right thing after they totally botched the sale, and all we got was abuse. If we had not wanted the cabinet, I would have just put it back in the car and taken it back to the store. I rate this store ZERO STARS. read more

Love this store! Great bargains, I almost hate to brag on for selfish reasons. It's a must stop every chance I get. Marie is so helpful and nice (I think she's the owner) Great atmosphere too. So far I have bought rugs, chair, clothes steamer and outdoor furniture there. All good quality and in good shape. read more

Maria is awesome and she takes great pride in this store. It shows. Her help are so nice and very helpful, her prices are reasonable, her consignment bookkeeping lets you know what sold, what she asked for it, what she got for it, and how much of a commission you got and she will print it out for you on demand unlike MANY of the other consignment shops in the area. She has an awesome collection of furniture, outdoor furniture, outdoor accessories, household items, kitchen items, electronic items, kitchen appliances, succulent plants and planters, bedding, and many more. It is fun to just go there and browse through everything. If you want to take some gently used goods over for her to consign, she will sell most all of it, give you a fair price, and pay you on demand with a list of details. I took my dining room floral centerpiece original costing $150 for consignment at Maria's Consigning Woman shop. We agreed on a sell price of $39. Maria didn't hide her opinion that she thought it was ugly. On 10/21/14 I returned to pick up my piece, only to find it had been placed on a top shelf OUTSIDE where it had been RAINED ON, SUN DAMAGED, and possibly DROPPED or WIND DAMAGED! It was SHATTERED, WATER-STAINED, DEMOLISHED AND COMPLETELY UNREPAIRABLE! Maria, the owner, never did apologize or attempt to rectify the situation. She just shrugged her shoulders and let me know that it was in the contract that she was not responsible for damages. She then criticized the centerpiece for not having some support wires in it to keep it from breaking, even though I had used it for 7 years without any breakage or damage. I asked her how she could have let this happen to my beautiful centerpiece. She gave a sneering, cocky reply asking me if I expected her to guard it 24 hours a day for 7 days a week? We do not recommend doing business with this un-caring store as they have no regard for your things while in their possession! read more
