Let me tell you... I'm only half way into my Lean Box Meals by Chef and already, my taste buds have…read morehad quite the flavor party. LeanBox Mediterranean Quinoa: HOLY. FLAVOR. EXPLOSION. And that Tzatziki? Out of this worldddddd. Super fresh, light, airy (it just is) quinoa perfectly done, well seasoned with the cucumber, hummus, spicy feta . PLENTY of chicken, enough for just about every bite. If you enjoy that Mediterranean flare you'll definitely want to add this to your delivery! The perfect light summer meal! Pretty sure I dreamt about this sauce though. LeanBox Carne Asada: yall... that grilled flank steak.. with the avocado salsa... but then theres an amazing - least expected for me! - addition of refried lentils, GRILLED veggies.. just stop! I tried the steak cold and hot, and which ever way one pleases to stuff your face, the flavor doesn't disappear nor disappoint. Next up: LeanBox Cowboy Butter Steak Bites. LeanBox Raspberry Chipotle Chicken. LeanBox Salmon Acapulco. STAY TUNED! Ordering is a BREEZE, communication is perfection, delivery service is such a luxury, and appreciated. I had messaged Chef prior to ordering, letting him know my protein needs and what if anything he would recommend. He mentioned that the Lean Box meals and when I committ, I committ. Snagged all five of his lean meals for the week I ordered (his menu changes, so be sure to follow if you're interested)... GET THE BAG. Especially if you aren't home right when it's delivered Sundays buy the kitchen gurus around of beer, and tip that driver.

I live alone and I was finding my groceries often go bad before I can ever eat them myself. I've…read morebeen looking for a meal delivery service for years and years and have tried them all over that timespan and never found out that stuck. I'm so thankful to have finally given Mealbox a try after hearing about it a few years back. I never ended up trying it because it wasn't customizable at the time for the packs and I don't eat any seafood but now they have added the ability to subscribe and choose your meals every week. As soon as I tried my first meal I immediately was on the website ordering next weeks meals. I was super impressed with the quality and taste. No other meal delivery plan even comes close to these. I love the variety of the menu changing every week and giving me the opportunity to try new things and find my favorites. There will always be things I don't like as much as others but the stuff I've liked I've LOVED! I see myself continuing to subscribe to Mealbox which has made it super convenient for me and supports local business. They also offer Family Packs if you do have a big family for easy yummy meals and delivery is free with weekly delivery! So impressed with this company and hope they continue to succeed and get more business. They deserve it! Chef will really knows how to cook! Some of the best tasting meals I've ever had! A must try! I look forward to this every week now! Thank you.

The Meltdown is a ghost kitchen that's located inside Denny's - and for being a virtual kitchen,…read morethey're actually pretty good. The packaging doesn't say Denny's or The Meltdown, but is a cute retro style, like what you'd see in a bowling alley, kind of. I tried the Giddy Up Melt, which came on toasted buttery bread and was filled with burnt ends. The burnt ends had a good flavor but were a little too big for being served in a sandwich style (being hard to eat in bites, like how you'd eat a sandwich). My melt came with fries, and they were sort of steak fry style, but "crimped" or pleated in the middle which I had never seen before on fries. But they had a good flavor as delivery fries go, not arriving soggy or dry. I also got a side of onion rings, just to try them. I'm not even usually an onion ring fan usually, but just had an itch for them for some reason. The batter on these were actually pretty tasty, and the onion inside kind of just melted into the batter vs being all oniony in texture, which is my normal complaint about onion rings. So I would recommend trying these if you're an onion hater, but sometimes do like onion rings if they're prepared the right way. Overall, it's definitely ghost kitchen quality, but it's a slight cut above a lot of the other virtual kitchens I've tried over the years.

The Meltdown is a ghost kitchen located in Dennys. There appear to be two locations; one in Gretna…read moreand the other in Dennys on S 84th St. I ordered the Classic Meltdown and the Treatn' Myself Melt for delivery from DoorDash. The Classic was a large grilled cheese sandwich with white cheddar, American, and provolone cheeses wrapped in foil and boxed. It was big enough to share or keep for another meal. I shared and we all thought it was good. Not a hallelujah good, but good. It was a bit greasy but that's to be expected given it's Ingredients and cooking method. The Treatn' Myself Melt was a whole 'nother story. Absolutely delicious! Big enough for sharing or two servings. I saved some for breakfast. The picture showed the same ingredients, but they were plated differently in my delivery, and I preferred mine. Two grilled slices of pound cake provided the base for a wonderful piece of cheesecake, but it was left whole, not sandwiched. The topping of sweetened strawberries soaked into the pound cake. It was reminiscent of strawberry shortcake, but richer. I would for sure order it again, it was so good. I don't think I would order the cheese sandwich again, but I might try a different melt such the brisket.
