I checked in online, had barely warmed the seat in the waiting room when I was called back--talk about efficiency! From start to finish, I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Sally, the PA, was warm and thorough. She explained my break and the treatment options in a way that made everything feel a little less intimidating. Then Dr. Bruggeman came in with that same mix of professionalism and kindness, and together they quickly determined surgery was needed. Here's the kicker: they scheduled my surgery that same day! I had to juggle a few things at work, but honestly, I was just so grateful to get the process started and my wrist on the mend. This wasn't my first rodeo with Ortho Nebraska (shoutout to my other wrist and a few stubborn shoulders), and once again, they proved why I'll keep coming back...I just really hope I don't have to for a while. Thanks, Ortho Nebraska, for always handling my clumsy adventures with care, speed, and a whole lot of heart!

My surgeon, Dr. Sayfe Jassim, has this whole process down to an art form, from pre-surgery to using robotics and a minimally invasive procedure to a post-operative medication and physical therapy plan that is well planned and requires me to participate. I can't recommend this facility and team highly enough.

I called his office after tweeking my back and barley able to move much less walk. They told me to come right in. After nearing crawling in the office I spent about 20/30 minutes with Dr Weakland and his staff. They took xrays, did an assesment, spent a few minutes an an awesome massage table then received an adjustment and a little acupuncture. When it was all done, I was able to walk out of the office in half the pain that I was when I arrived. Dr Weakland was suprisingl affordable. I couldnt have been more pleased. Until working with him and his staff I never had any faith in chiropractic care and expected to be poked, prodded and twisted with no sucess and presented with a large bill. Dr Weakland was the complete oposite. I am amazed. Additionally, his staff are so nice and polite. Its always an absolute pleasure to be in the office. Furthermore all follow up treatments went fast and on schedule. No waiting. In and out in a matter of minutes. He works wonders. Highly reccomended.

Prior to starting at ATC the longest I had ever attempted a workout program was a week if that. To say I was a beginner would be an understatement. My goal was to gain clarity on my condition, as I previously felt I was not receiving clear answers--only recommendations for procedures--despite the impact this injury has on my ability to perform my job. The check-in process was efficient and professional. After being called back, I was weighed and taken to an evaluation room. Approximately ten minutes later, a nurse practitioner entered. She was friendly and took the time to ask detailed questions about the incident. She conducted an evaluation and asked whether my original provider had performed an X-ray of my hand or only a visual assessment. When I explained that only a visual evaluation had been done, she expressed concern that imaging had not been completed. She also stated that, based on her review of my chart, I did not have carpal tunnel syndrome but instead may have a rheumatoid autoimmune condition. This was new information to me and had not previously been communicated by my original specialist. I did note that my primary care provider at Methodist Hospital had once mentioned the possibility of an autoimmune issue but had not confirmed a diagnosis. The nurse practitioner indicated she would step out to conduct further research and return with additional information. Approximately fifteen minutes later, Dr. Jeffrey Tiedeman entered the room. He asked questions that I had already addressed and referenced my visit to the emergency room due to loss of feeling in my right hand. At that point, the experience shifted. He examined my hands and stated that an X-ray was needed to confirm a carpal tunnel diagnosis. I asked whether this could be performed during my visit, and he instructed me to follow up with my current provider instead. I explained that my current provider had not recommended or ordered an X-ray. I asked again for assistance, and my request was declined. It became clear to me that my concerns were not being fully addressed, and I did not feel supported in obtaining answers about my condition. Both the doctor and nurse practitioner then left the room without explanation and did not return. I waited approximately fifteen minutes before realizing the visit had concluded without closure, guidance, or next steps. This experience was disappointing, as I sought a second opinion to better understand my condition and receive appropriate direction for treatment. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and follow-through did not meet those expectations.
