Then again considering the history of this hotel, that's not too surprising. I was offered a basket of free house made chips; that was super cool! The bartender gave me some recommendations, but I went with the turkey sandwich. I pretty much knew I was going to go with it too. Thick cut turkey (and I do mean thick), applewood-smoked bacon, Munster cheese, lettuce, sliced red onion, tomato and chipotle aioli on focaccia bread. What a great sandwich, one of the best turkey sandwiches I've ever had. I got the sweet potato fries for my side, they were hot and crispy. With the side of honey mustard (which I also poured on my sandwich), it took everything over the top. Oh and it included a big pickle spear, always a plus! And for $16, that's a heck of a deal for Pinehurst. The beverage selection isn't the biggest. They have three draft beers, but there are a lot more canned options. Super friendly service as well.

I am disgusted at this place. I have never seen anything so nasty in all my life. The outside is…read moreunclean and unsanitary but the inside is even worse. The walls haven't been painted I would say since the place was built. The carpet is so dirty you have to wear shoes on the inside so as to not get your feet dirty. The sheets and covers on the beds are never washed for new customers, the toilets clog up, the showers are nasty and God forbid you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, turn on the light and it's infested by roaches. On top of dealing with all of this, management is horrible. The place needs to be torn down and if they do decide to clean it up or rebuild, they might want to consider getting people in there who know how to run a business because as far as I can see, the people in charge are doing nothing but running this place right into the ground. I don't understand how it has not been condemned. Perhaps a call would get the process started. No one should be allowed to live in such conditions.

Walking in you automatically feel like it's a home away from home. There's plenty of space and well furnished and the simple decorations give it that homey feeling. We lacked nothing while we stayed here. Amanda, the staff member that helped us with our stay, was amazingly hospitable and more than willing to accommodate any of our needs. It's also very well maintained. Their cleanliness standards are superb; we were extremely happy with that. If you have an opportunity to stay here, it would be a mistake if you passed it up. But we ended up buying and that's when we met Jamie. He mentioned this to us and we're glad we stayed at this place. PCS-ing in the middle of pandemic made our move tremendously difficult. Staying here was the best decision we made. It was blissful. Jamie, Butch, Amanda, and their cleaning crew were wonderful people. The place has parking space for staying guest, and it's gated. I didn't have to worry when my little one was outside playing. With its location being a minute from Skibo getting around was a breeze. It's a strip that has a lot of restaurant and main stores. Target is less than 5 minutes except on a busy times. Kudos with their clean team as they are so flexible with reasonable time call or texting ahead of time. The unit we are in has small kitchen; freestanding electric range, large fridge and dishwasher. It also has basic kitchen materials, like couple pans, baking sheets, glasses and utensils. Perfect for small family transitioning like us. The laundromat which is in Cliffdale is just 5 minutes away. It's a home away from home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for longer stay. For me, it's being able to be comfortable and cook fresh food everyday is the best feeling I can't trade of. Nope- I'm not paid to write this. I'm helping you to have an option for your next trip here in North Carolina.

We were excited to play a course that was a classic Donald Ross design and host of the 122nd LPGA US Open won by Minjee Lee. An exceptional course in every way. The Fairways are plush with green grass. The greens were well manicured and cut nice and close to create fast conditions but not overly so. A challenging design with many of the green side and fairway bunkers Donald Ross is known for. A beautiful course with some exceptional views and an overall great golf experience. I've played over 100 courses from coast to coast and would place this in the top 5. I'm already thinking about planning my next trip to play this course again.

Not sure where they learned the hospitality industry but that doesn't cut it. I reserved a specific room. Paid required deposit for said room in advance and then you gave the room to someone else. WTF?
