We just moved to Texas and we're looking for a vet. My friend recommended this place. We love the vet. Super friendly. Listens to our concerns and loves dogs. My dogs love him. read more

I called to get a price on euthanizing a very sick dog who is terminal so I can end her suffering. While the person who answered was polite, she quoted me $100! And that's with me bringing home my dog and handling her after life care ourselves (we have a spot in the backyard prepared). What can possibly cost $100? It can't be inflation. I have been down this road before with the same breed, although it has been almost 10 years. This is a tiny breed, she has stopped eating, and she has lost more than half her weight. There is no quality of life left. I guess I'm going to keep calling around. It's a shame too because a social media post recommended this place. I prefer not to be taken advantage of financially through my emotions and their greed. read more

No one answers the phone to make an appointment. Called back and left a message. No one returned a call. Sent message to web site trying to make an appointment. Left my phone number and email. No one responded. So I guess we can't make an appointment. A while back we had two dogs and used Dr Bries. read more

customer service was terrible. called and received attitude as soon as the phone was picked up. not only did they take it upon themselves to do my dogs services in the back when i specifically asked to stay near him because he gets nervous. they took him to the back to weigh him and came back with his services done and he ripped off one of his nails and came back dripping blood all over the room read more

We had a terrible experience. This does not allow 0 stars, so a 1 is as low as I can go. We brought our girl in for a standard spay. They said she may be done around 4-6, but they would call when she was awake. We were patiently waiting for the call. 6 passed, and we were getting worried. We called, and they were closed. We went there and the building was dark with nobody there. We didn't know if our dog was alive or dead, and if she was alive, she had just had a big surgery, and she was in there alone with nobody watching out for her post-operation. The next morning, they had the audacity to scold us until they realized they were in the wrong. They apparently tried to call once, but their "circuit was busy." They were too negligent to be bothered to call again, or try the other number we left them, or the email, or text, so they left our post-op girl alone in the dark. Also, the front desk ladies are very rude, which others have mentioned in reviews, and I can confirm. I don't recommend anyone go here. read more

I have called this place in 3 different occasions and no one answers!!! I think its time to find a new vet for my 2 dogs! This is so frustrating! The last time I did speak to someone I asked for vaccines record to be email and until this day I never received it!! Terrible service!! read more

Dr Briers is great! Been going here awhile and feel that the pricing is a lot cheaper than other vets. Office staff is very kind too

We have had several pets over the years at Conroe Vet Clinic. I love our Aggie doctor Scott Briars. He is so compassionate and really cares for God's creatures. I won't go to anyone else! read more

Please don't get your pets seen here. Receptionist is incredibly rude, as many other reviews have stated. In a hurry to end the conversation and gives a lot of attitude. I'm shocked she hasn't been fired yet! read more

We just moved to Conroe in April and have been trying out vets and boarding options to find the right fit for our two dogs. I made an appointment two weeks ago for this morning at 10 am. Two weeks ago I put the time in my calendar, set an alarm for last night to remind myself, another alarm for this morning, and even set up my driving app "Waze" to have a scheduled drive time to get to my appointment. I arrived to the Veterinary Clinic this morning with my dog, and the moment I walked in the door, I was not greeted- I was very rudely told I'd have to wait. I don't mind waiting at all (there were 2 other customers inside with their dogs) it was the unnecessarily rude way I was told! The technician receptionist woman was just incredibly unfriendly. I sat down and waited as I was told. Finally, the same woman said "Last name." And I told her. She repeated my dogs name and I said yes. She then told me my appointment time wasn't until 3:30 pm. I know my face looked stricken, and I quickly grabbed my phone to check. I had written down 10:00 am, but after the way I had been treated, I knew there was no point in arguing. So I said, "I have written down 10:00 am, but okay." She said that the appointment time was 3:30 pm and I could come back then. Her tone suggested that the moment I walked out the door, she and her colleagues would be laughing at me. It was a horrible 10 minutes from the time I entered the door to the time I exited. I have no idea why she was so unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. I got home and my husband and I decided that we would cancel the 3:30 pm appointment, as obviously this is not the right fit for us and our dogs. I called their number and was on hold for about 7 minutes (again, that's fine. It's a place of business.) Someone (I am assuming it is the same woman) answered with "Conroe Vet." Then silence. I was expecting something more like, "Conroe Vet. This is ________. How can I help you?" Again, just unnecessarily unprofessional and rude. I said, "Hi! I'd like to cancel my appointment for later today." She asked my name, heard it was me, and said, "Okay, it's done." And that's it. No offer to reschedule, no goodbye. Nothing. The entire experience from start to finish has been completely unsatisfactory. I assume all the 5 star reviews are people who have gone here for 20 years or so, and I expect all the employees have worked here for 20 years. For new guests/customers/clients, beware. I hope you have a better experience than I did. read more

BEWARE! they stole my dogs. My lost ranch dogs were found by a Good Samaritan who dropped them off at Conroe vet clinic. The lady at the front desk of the clinic gave my dogs to her friend. They are refusing to return our dogs. We have all the medical records and photos of them since they were young. They stole our babies!!! read more

My cat rarely needs the vet, but I've always considered Conroe Vet Clinic to be his go-to if anything goes wrong. I visited regularly for other animals I was fostering over the years and enjoyed the compassion and care that staff showed for all of their visitors. Unfortunately, after today's attempted visit I won't be coming back. While there is a sign on the door requesting that clients not enter the building due to COVID, staff was walking in and out without a mask on and interacting with mask-less clients in their cars. I didn't feel comfortable sending my cat in (especially since I wouldn't be allowed to enter and see circumstances inside for myself), and had to cancel the appointment. Now I am scrambling to find another vet that can help us. I am genuinely confused as to why they would enforce one safety protocol while completely skirting the other one. Very disappointing. read more

Dr. Scott Briers just nursed our critically ill Senior dog Daisy back to health! He called us regularly during her 4 day stay to keep us informed which was much appreciated. He saved her life! He meets the Gold Standard in expertise and caring for veterinarians and I recommend him highly! If you want a Vet that is all about the Money and not your Pet then this is the Vet for you. From the minute you walk in the door the Front Desk staff is RUDE. I have never been treated like this Vet treats you and I have had Pets all my life and I am 70 years old. This VET does not care about your Pet! It's all about the MONEY to them. My dog is sick and I called to see if I could get an appointment and was told I could come in but it would be billed as an Emergency Urgent care visit. They stated they were not busy so I should be able to get right in and I asked if your not busy can I just make an appointment and was told NO. So since I said my dog was sick it had to be treated as an Emergency - ALL ABOUT THE MONEY $$$$$ Several reviews state how RUDE their Front Desk staff is so that just goes to show that they do not care about their customers. If you want someone who cares about your Pets Health please DO NOT USE THIS VET! read more

I had a really great experience with Dr. Centers today. This is my first experience with this vet. It was 3:00pm on a Friday and I had a bottle calf with pneumonia that I was treating at home, but not getting better. Dr. Centers really helped us out even though it was last minute. read more

We have been using this vet for as long as I can remember and no matter what is going on everyone there acts like they understand how we feel. We had to sadly put our Maltipoo to sleep and I can honestly say our Dr. CARED I was a hysterical mommy and the Dr. and assistant knew what and when to say it. And that meant so much. We have a puppy and a 3 year old dog and all of them are so sweet to our babies. We love Conroe Vet Clinic and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. My daughter will be going to Veterinarian school and she even wants to do her internship here. I if you're looking for a vet for your animals this one is SPOT ON. read more

After 6 years, I am leaving this veterinarian clinic. I visited yesterday and was in my car for THREE HOURS, after the initial 45 minute wait and I was on time. This should have taken no more than an hour with four dogs getting yearly vaccinations. When finally time to check out, it took an additional 25 minutes for my credit card to be returned to me. I had to call and ask where is my card?! They are understaffed and overbooked with a full parking lot. I saw two people sit for a while and then leave with their pets. It was chaotic. I had not only an assistant but also a vet come to the car to discuss a shot that I did not want my 3 lb. dog to get due to her size. When I got home, I saw that I had been charged for the shot. It is difficult to get anyone on the phone. They claim they did not give my dog the shot, but mistakenly charged me - who knows. With their rules of owners not being allowed in with the dogs, I don't know what they did or did not do. My dog is sore and unhappy today and I don't think they really remember. Perhaps when they open back up service will get better, but I am moving on. This was not a good experience. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I came in for an emergency for my injured dog as it was the closest vet nearby after the accident. The fact that the other owners sitting in the parking lot had seen our urgency and the clinic did not was infuriating. The other owners who were sitting with their dogs tails wagging in their cars had asked us what had happened and if we needed a phone to call the clinic. They knew & seen a glimpse of our dog in the car. We proceeded to call the clinic and pressed 9 for emergency and a worker came out, looked at our dog, Skye, and said they would be with us shortly. Time went on and the owners around us had been taken in before us. Our dog was in a state of urgency and we could not wait any longer. She was sitting in a pile of her own blood in the back seat and they let us wait there, didn't suggest if we should go to another clinic if they had been that busy, did not offer anything to help the blood. Had we not left and went to another vet, it could've been much worse. Just to let you guys know, she had over 100 stitches, a splint for her fracture and bandages. The second vet took us in immediately & was rushed on a gurney and put on morphine. What a waste of time at Conroe veterinary clinic, as our dog was in pain! read more

Our Beef Master Heifer Daisy hasn't been eating too well and we were very concerned. We brought her to see Dr. Scott Brier at Conroe vet. to get evaluated and he came out with a chip on his shoulder and ask why would we bring her in, because she looks fine. He never once laid hands on our Daisy did not even check her temp or anything. Then after speaking with my husband he says it will be $25. If I was there they would not have been paid. So I contact Dr Scott Briers and he was being a smart butt and insisted there is nothing wrong with our Daisy. We got a second opinion with another vet and our Daisy is sick, she has fever of 104 and was loaded with worms in her tummy. She could have died if went untreated. She was given several shots and was sent home with shots as well. I don't recommend Conroe Vet or Scott Briers! I would have rated with NO STARS but it would not let me continue read more

We are regulars at Conroe Vet. We foster and have pets of our own, mostly senior pets. We are always treated kindly and with respect. Our pets get the very best care here and they don't overcharge . I can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

The staff here is very caring but still extremely efficient. I came in with a foster kitten that ill, not knowing much of anything about him, but the front office staff, vet tech, and the vet were very helpful and friendly even though I didn't have an appointment and had never been here before. They were also respectful when I started to boohoo after hearing the bad news about my little guy. If or when I get a pet of my own or another foster, I'll be sure to make this my go to place for their care. In the meantime, I am more than happy to refer any pet parent I know to this wonderful animal hospital. I can't thank the fantastic staff enough. read more

We strictly use Conroe Veterinary Clinic for our t-cup poodles needs. They are very popular and for that reason only, we have had to wait a bit longer than we'd like, but once we are in the exam room, the vet (Dr. Umlang) takes all the time in the world to make certain he has explained every thing to us for the welfare of our little dog. She seems so calm in the exam room and thats a huge plus. As for the reception staff, they are excellent! Smiling & friendly as they assure us that it won't be much longer. We wouldn't go to any other vet in Conroe. (especially after one broke our little dogs jaw bone while extracting a tooth and repaired it with a wire that he wound around with the ends sticking up which irritated her tongue and gums!) Thank you, Dr. Umlang and staff for all that you do for us. Jack & Delyce Gunion read more
