I didn't feel crowded in or crushed anywhere. There were many interesting photo opportunities. It was GREAT of the museum to notify you about some rooms that might make some people feel unbalanced. I didn't feel bored here. There was enough here to enjoy yourself. This is a place that anyone of any age can enjoy. A BIG THANKS!!!! for the locals discount too!

In our case, I am a local, I went with my 5 year old grandson and my 81 year old friend. I had a chose of not going in or paying "VIP" PRICING -- $82 per ticket, no local discount, no age discount. What do you get? Shorter line to get in -- for a moment -- then you merge with everyone else. You wait on same lines for slides, ice cream, etc. The quality of that ice cream is average, the soft serve is below average, the topping cheap. I had expected - and I read a lot of about it -- a fun experience, with good ice cream, and highly engaged staff. The staff was fine, however, they were more like crowd watchers than engaged staff. They fooled me once, and they will never fool me again. However, AREA 15 is well worth it in so many other ways.

********HIDDEN GEM****in Centennial *************************…read more The Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum is tucked into a ritzy part of Centennial just a couple minute ride near Centennial Center with the Trader Joe's and Total Wine and all those restaurants. Right here in Centennial is this major Art Museum with all kinds of Mixed Media. It's a lot of modern art, bronze works, and more. There is a lot to see. Even the doors are works of art by the late artist Rita Deanin Abby. It's very hard to believe that one artist did so many works. My photos are only a small amount of what there is to see and there are also several larger than life sculptors outside to see too. I was very surprised on the extra nice hospitality of the people working there. As soon as we entered we were greeted and were told a short story about the artist. We walked around a while and saw all the indoor works displayed. I heard that these aren't even all the artist's works and they rotate some of the pieces. Our first trip here was on Ruth's Birthday Week with free admission and someone there generously gave us a poster of one of the artist's works. It's normally $20. admission but first Saturday of the month is free admission with free tickets that you can get on-line.

If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." Vincent Van Gogh Van Gogh painted as a way to make his inner soul happy and shine. For the main purpose of attendance to this event was for my daughter. She has been wanting to go here and price an object for her; let's just say, "it's going to make her happy, it's happening." Sometimes my young daughter is plagued by troubles of the heart from the past. She can relate some of the pain of her childhood to Van Gogh perhaps . Here we sit together and experiencing life together . No matter what your situation or circumstances this particular show will show you moments of a man that never achieved anything until he pasted. Before we even got there, we tried one of the new Zoox autonomous vehicles that are currently operating as part of a free pilot program in Las Vegas. It seats up to four people, the ride was smooth, the air conditioning was wonderful in the Vegas heat, and you can even choose the lighting ambiance inside the vehicle while listening to either the built-in music or your own phone. The only downside was figuring out the pickup location. If you've never used the service before, you may find yourself wandering around for a few minutes trying to find the correct pickup spot. As for the museum itself, the tickets were not inexpensive, but I felt they were a fair value considering the experience and the opportunity to see genuine Titanic artifacts that most people will never have the chance to see in person. Seeing "The Big Piece" alone made the visit worthwhile. One thing that surprised me was the atmosphere. I've walked through the Luxor many times and have never personally felt anything despite all the haunted stories people tell. The moment we stepped into the Titanic exhibit, though, my entire chest tightened. Whether it was the music, the lighting, or simply the weight of the history surrounding those artifacts, the feeling caught me completely off guard. The exhibit itself is immersive, with photographs, music, recreated spaces, and historical information that really helps you imagine what life aboard the ship was like. At the beginning, each visitor receives a boarding card with the name and story of a real passenger or crew member. At the end of the exhibit, you discover that person's fate and see their photograph. It was such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel much more personal and emotional. If you enjoy history, I would absolutely recommend visiting at least once. It was thoughtful, respectful, educational, and genuinely moving. I'm glad we went, and it's an experience my wife and I will remember for a long time.

It tells a good story and like the other places, you do get a character card when you come in so that you can follow them through the journey. Overall, it was great for a Titanic enthusiast that wants to be in the same space as some real artifacts and learn some of the deeper passenger stories. It is a little pricey for what you get so beware of that. The entire walk-through took us about 30 minutes.
