What a disappointing experience, based on seeing what other people's experiences have been…read more We took a vintage mid century art deco clock in for framing, and spoke directly with the owner. We met with him for a long period, as we were very specific about what we wanted, which was actually a very simple design, but didn't want the clock itself altered and for it to be operable. He told me they'd need 6 weeks for the job, and that he'd be out of town, but his daughter would handle it. We left a substantial deposit for half the cost. Cut to about 6 weeks later and my wife goes to the shop when we're told it's ready. Her dealings were with the daughter, whom we hadn't met before. The frame and matting itself are very nice. However, the clock within is, first, not centered. The daughter denies this, insisting it's centered, until my wife insists she check using a tape measure, and it's off center by nearly two inches (the clock is only 13" diameter). Whoops. Second, the clock, which is circular/sundial shaped, does not have numerals, but markers. It is not lined up with the 12 o'clock position at the top. The daughter argues that it can't be hung with the 12 o'clock position straight up, because it is off-center of the hanging hole on the back of the clock. Now understand, these are things we discussed with her father, extensively. It's an important piece to us, and we told him price was not a problem, we just wanted it done correctly, securely and to look nice. We discussed using clear acrylic braces from behind to support the clock, or something similar, as we understand a circular piece is difficult. We thought he understood. His daughter clearly didn't, and she stated it couldn't be done, and that the hole on the back of the clock intended for hanging was off center for the clock's 12 o'clock position (no, it's not). However, she told my wife she would fix it to our satisfaction. We chose to give her a second chance. A couple weeks pass and we get the call that it's done. My wife returns to the shop to find that all that was done is that it has now been centered, nothing else, which the daughter admits. She states that securing the clock with 12 o'clock in the, well, 12 o'clock position is impossible. My wife asks for the refund of our deposit and the return of the clock. The daughter argues that substantial time and resources were used, to which my wife counters that she did not complete the work we asked for to our satisfaction. Ultimately, the refund is given. The daughter says it will be a week before she can get the clock removed. It didn't take a week, she called the very next day saying it was ready to pick up. When my wife arrived to pick up the clock, the daughter wouldn't even stand up from the desk, pointing to the clock nearby and saying "it's there". For some reason, this lady, the daughter, decided this was personal, and as such, she treated my wife very poorly. Her customer service was horrendous, her attitude was very nasty and she earned every line of this poor review. Our experience with people involved with framing art is that they have some degree of creativity and enjoy the challenge of something they haven't experienced before. That wasn't what we found here. When they told us something couldn't be done, we ourselves came up with several possible solutions, which were acknowledged but never acted upon. So we will look elsewhere, confident in other artistic minds in Las Vegas.

Speak about hidden gems... hung on their back wall is Salvador Dali's "March of Time Committee" - his largest painting and one of the most renowned art pieces in the world. And below that they have prints from his Divine Comedy series. It's quite amazing that just a few yards from the age old (and very cheesy, excuse me) "Atlantis" show in Cesar's Palace, these masterpieces are on display. Other than those, the space is beautiful and elegant. Their Erté collection is amazing - the manager, Nicholas, who was super nice and cordial, told us they manage Erté's estate. You'll also find many big names like Chagall, Picasso, Murakami, and Warhol here. In our visit in March of 2024, we saw an amazing number of works by Takashi Murakami on display and open to public viewing for free! All that said, their prints are privacy - Dali's unsigned prints of the Divine Comedy series would cost around $1200 here while many of pieces are in the public domain (according to Open Culture and a number of university sites). No photography allowed so I don't have too many photos to share. Only a couple that I took before I was stopped. Overall, this place is a great experience and absolutely worth the time to come check them out !

The pop culture type works on display & sold here are perfect for an artist named Spencer Couture who is big on collabs & street art vibes. I lovvvvvvve street art. I'm also a lover of Tupac and John Lennon so was happy to see both fellas featured in some of the work, along with so many other iconic people. I hope one day I can purchase a piece of art from him, and in the meantime, I will follow along & admire his brilliant work.

It's on the second level between Cartier and VanCleef & Arpels. This gallery opened originally in 2021. The art work features Elena Bulatova as well as Efi Mashiah and other artists! When we entered the gallery, it was as soon as it had opened which was around 11:00 A.M on a Saturday! The space has a wide range of contemporary sculptures, canvases, and installations along the wall. Some of Elena's signature pieces were on display which included the oversized lollipops, popsicles, and even playing cards! These pieces were vibrant with lots of color! A team member was there assisting us and providing us a lot of information regarding the different pieces of art! Efi Mashiah's works are based on modern artworks, transforming normal day items like screws or a bottle holder into beautiful pieces of art! This gallery was also named one of the top galleries in Nevada for 2023 by the American Art Awards! If you're visiting the Aria or the Shops at the Crystals, I'd highly recommend stopping by Elena Bulatova's Fine Art Las Vegas. It was inspirational and there was so much creativity in the artwork!

The 3D celebrity art is so cool where the image moves while you move, and there's a charming lounge with neon signs. So many fantastic sculptures and mixed media by Elena. I was also mesmerized by the penny and screw art portraits created by Efi, who is Elena's husband. Definitely a must see! The adorable figurines are cute! There's an astronaut, polar bear, and a girl holding a balloon, it's so cool! Pricing varies for each art. I asked the consultant Terri what the price is, and it is quite high. I did purchase one figurine for a memorable souvenir, and it's so lovely! Service from Terri is very kind and friendly. She carefully covered my figurine in bubble wrap so it won't break, I appreciate that and thank you for a great experience!

Other art works display include Maya Lin's "Silver River, 2009," an 84-foot-long silver sculpture of the Colorado River, which is seen dangling above the registration check-in desk at Aria. The "Reclining Connected Forms" is a large-scale sculpture made of Roman travertine marble and is created by the artist Henry Moore. The image portrays a baby wrapped in its mother's embrace. The outer shell resembles a pregnant figure protecting the baby while growing from within, so beautiful! You'll find this amazing sculpture in the courtyard between Aria and The Shops at Crystals. "Halo" by Wet Design is a fascinating water art installation located on the first floor of The Shops at Crystals.
