This hotel might be a little more pricy, but I guarantee you'll be thing the staff are awesome and will go the extra mile for you! I absolutely loved my room, I purchased the corner panoramic view on the 18th floor #1869! It's huge after being on a cruise ship! The sunrise this morning was Beautiful!! You work hard everyday, splurge on this room, you'll be happy you did!!! The hotel is in remodel mode which can be annoying, but just remember when you come back it will be so worth the experience. The only thing I found an issue with was the pool spa timer was not working! We did everything to try and get it going! Every guest took turns thinking their technique could get it start it! No success! I asked the AI chatbot for help, someone will be with you in 14mins. Needless to say even AI couldn't fix the spa! Seriously!! This is a the place to stay!!

Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City Shows Zero Courtesy to Hilton Diamond Members, Returning Guests,…read moreand Families With Disabilities As a Hilton Diamond member, I am honestly shocked and deeply disappointed by the complete lack of humanity, compassion, and basic courtesy shown by Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. After years of using Hilton properties, including staying at this hotel in the past, we found ourselves in a difficult situation due to a flight delay. We only needed a very small favor: to hold one bag for about 2 hours so we could take our daughter to Universal CityWalk to buy something before heading to the airport. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of empathy or understanding, we were treated as if helping a family with a disability-related situation was some kind of burden. The assistant to the office manager, Ariel Larios, displayed behavior that honestly felt far below the level of basic human decency and hospitality that anyone would expect from a Hilton property. There was no patience, no compassion, no willingness to help, and no effort whatsoever to understand the situation. The entire interaction felt cold, dismissive, and focused only on extracting money rather than helping people in need for a simple 2-hour request. What made this even more disturbing: * We are Hilton Diamond members * We stayed at this hotel in previous years * We clearly explained the disability-related difficulty * We only needed temporary short-term assistance * There is no clearly disclosed written policy online stating that short-term luggage assistance is unavailable unless you purchase a room Rather than showing courtesy or appreciation for years of loyalty to Hilton, we were effectively pushed into paying around $220 for a full room simply to receive basic luggage assistance for 2 hours. This experience made it feel like Hilton Diamond status means absolutely nothing at this property unless you are actively spending more money that exact moment. Returning customers, families with disabilities, and even basic human kindness appeared completely irrelevant. Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City should be ashamed that a simple request for temporary help turned into such a cold and humiliating experience.

The course is very challenging, narrow, long, and unforgiving out of bounds. The greens were in good shape and very fast. To be honest with a decent amount of good rain you would think the course would be dialed, but to be honest it was kind of rough. Tons on divot marks that never grew back, patchy approach areas, and just ok tee boxes. As with many other posters for the same price go to Moorpark or Rustic.

I played here yesterday, and I just had to come back here to Yelp to set the record straight,…read morebecause the current 2.5 star rating just doesn't feel like a fair representation of what this course truly has to offer. I've never played here before, but GolfNow was offering a nice discount, so I decided to take a chance on it despite the poor reviews and low star rating, and I was pleasantly surprised by how far it exceeded my very low expectations. Here's what you can expect if you decide to play here: Pre-Round: - Quality warm-up/practice areas. At the range you're hitting decent quality balls, off real grass (not mats) out into a lush grassy range with nicely visible yardage targets. - Putting practice is on a tight, fast green that's well maintained. Only critique here was there weren't many holes to aim to... I counted maybe 4-5 total, which is not much. - Clubhouse was a lovely Spanish style building, with clean bathrooms, nice pro shop with friendly staff, and a cafe/food window set next to a nice outdoor patio eating area. The Golf: - Walking is not permitted (for pacing reasons, I assume) but the electric golf carts are HIGH-QUALITY, not beat up, cheap public course shame trains. They each have full color screens with GPS enabled course maps, providing you with hole layouts and yardages. They are stocked with complimentary bottled water, towels, and tees. Before you even swing a club, this feels like a premium experience. - The course conditions were beautiful. They're not perfect... you're not playing Augusta National here, but it was well above average for a public course. Tee boxes were level, green, weed free and well maintained. If you're used to playing public courses where you have to dance a two-step around the tee box for 2 minutes trying to find a level spot to hit from, you'll feel spoiled by the beautiful tee boxes. -Fairways are tight, a bit hard (you're in desert terrain) and very green. Didn't see a lot of dead grass out there, but then again it did rain recently. -The first cut rough is pretty well maintained, with some weeds around the edges, but for the most part very playable. -Bunkers has a few large rocks in them here and there, but were pretty fluffy and soft for the most part. One bunker I landed in was so soft, my ball plugged into the sand a good inch or two. -The course design is really interesting and unique, and WILL BE A CHALLENGE for most weekend golfers. You need to be accurate off the tees and have a decent approach game. If not, bring a lot of balls because the desert OB areas are cruel and will mercilessly collect your entire last order of golf balls off Amazon. - The pace of play was actually great. We never felt rushed and never felt like we waited more than a few minutes for the group ahead to finish. We played on Sunday, teeing off just before noon, so you'd expect it to be busy, but it was pleasantly un-crowded. -I appreciated the little details that this course has paid attention to, like areas around the tee boxes and beside cart paths that often have beautiful hard-scape features, like rocks or pavers, which is a classy touch. Other on-course amenities: - Ball washers were regularly placed throughout the course - At least one set of bathrooms was out on the course (thank you very much). - Beverage carts came around at least twice to check on us and offer us food during the round... another premium that you don't get on cheap public courses. One STRANGE experience: We finished our round around 4:30PM and when we rolled in toward the clubhouse, the place was an absolute ghost town. Not a soul was in sight. Pro shops was dark, locked up and closed. Food service window was closed, security cage pulled over the window. There were no human beings anywhere when I pulled my cart up to the cart return--- just felt odd that nobody was around. Other than that, Angeles National served up a great day of quality golf with premium amenities. It's not cheap, but it's also not as expensive as you might expect for a high quality course. With our GolfNow "HotDeal" it was around $120 and I consider it a steal at that price. If that price tag is a stretch, then reward yourself with a round here once in a while and enjoy the incredible mountain views, picturesque desert, and course conditions that far exceed expectations of a public course.

They were without question the best decision we made for our wedding and the most talked about part of the entire night. I've played music my whole life so my husband and I were really picky when choosing our band. After watching countless live performance videos there was no question, they were unmatched! No notes off pitch, every harmony in sync, concert level quality all night long. It was even better in person than I had envisioned. The vocals were so good, flexing between rock and roll, disco, pop, rap, and classic jazz and soul dinner music that made the reception feel luxurious and classy. What set them apart was their ability to read the room and keep the energy alive from start to finish. Ben as frontman and emcee was masterful, not a single lull all night. Once we got to dancing it felt like a concert! Every person young and old was on that dance floor all night long, including my 90-year-old grandpa! Guests were coming up to my husband and me all night asking where we found this band, including serious musicians who were completely blown away. The versatility was outstanding. We had a live guitarist for our ceremony, a jazz quartet including string bass for cocktail hour, the full nine-piece band for dinner and dancing, and then DJ Bruno for our after party. DJ Bruno was absolutely fire, too. He played all our must-plays, took requests, and kept everyone on the dance floor for round two -- it was so much fun. The Ben Mallare Band was worth every single penny and more. Book them, you will not regret it! My husband and I are already trying to figure out what our next event could be just so we can book them again!
