I had a good experience purchasing a Stihl weedeater from Conover Home & Commercial Hardware this weekend. They were very patient with my family (my kids were a bit crazy). They helped me pick out the right model, find good fuel and extra trimmer line, and fueled it up. They even test started the unit and showed me the proper way to use the choke. There is nothing better than buying from a well established local store and Conover Hardware fits the bill. They have great Stihl products, I have a weedeater and a chainsaw that when I mess it up, Richard can fix it! He also works on other garden equipment. When I need something unusual, Conover Hardware is the first place I try. They have a good garden section and I have found the replacement handles are cheaper than the big box stores. One thing I really appreciate over other Hardware or tool stores is Conover Hardware has never treated me like they had wished a female had not walked in. If I don't know the correct name of what I want, Rick can always figure it out if one of the others can't. Sometimes, I just like to go spend my allowance. I have never failed to find a couple of good Christmas gifts or a Useful Birthday gift! They have a really nice selection of tools and paint.
