Skip this place. I miscalculated my mpg's vs fuel remaining while hauling a trailer with the…read morenorthern wind and was forced to stop. For one thing their prices are about $0.20 higher per gallon than the going rate. Second, the first pump I used only dripped out maybe a gallon every 10 minutes...so when I noticed after changing a kid's diaper that I only had 0.53 gallons I had to stop it and go to a different one (that was still pretty slow). Aggravating. I was thirsty but didn't want to give this company a dollar more so I didn't even go in the convenience store portion. Bathrooms are below average. Bottomline: get gas in Salina or Russell so you don't need to be here.

He said NO Ma'am! You must purchase something. We bought a couple gallons of overpriced gas (.20cents more than previous station) & went on our way. They were rude& un-caring, perhaps it was my purple hair, or the fact that the rest area 4 miles from here is closed, & not many bathrooms between Salina & Hays, but considering that we were crying & upset, I felt they could have been more accommodating & understanding.

Consequently, it is easy to find yourself low on fuel occasionally. It seems to me that during those moments there was typically a Love's around the corner. This Love's is right outside the town of McPherson . It is not the largest Love's I have been to and it is geared more for big rigs than passenger cars, UT they do have pumps for both. They also have a Hardee's attached to it, so if you want grab a burger, there is that! I just grabbed some snacks and a drink inside the convenience store section. The store was clean and the employees were down home and freidly people. I would not hesitate to stop here on future trips to Kansas.

I haven't been in the shower yet but they've got showers. I've looked and they look super clean. Trash is always done. always a great place to stop. Not bad for a truck stop.
