Skip this place. I miscalculated my mpg's vs fuel remaining while hauling a trailer with the…read morenorthern wind and was forced to stop. For one thing their prices are about $0.20 higher per gallon than the going rate. Second, the first pump I used only dripped out maybe a gallon every 10 minutes...so when I noticed after changing a kid's diaper that I only had 0.53 gallons I had to stop it and go to a different one (that was still pretty slow). Aggravating. I was thirsty but didn't want to give this company a dollar more so I didn't even go in the convenience store portion. Bathrooms are below average. Bottomline: get gas in Salina or Russell so you don't need to be here.

We walked out and headed west and stopped at te 24/7 Travel Store. The 24/7 Travel Store has restrooms that were very clean and a very well stocked c-store. AND - their cold beveage selection was indeed cold. This site was a welcome site for us after a long day in the car. We were hot, tired and thirsty and found welcome relief here. The staff was personable and efficent - very nice. I would highly recommend the 24/& Travel Store.

It's not as big and well-stocked as the big truck stops but it had a nice selection of snacks and other products in the c-store AND, most importanly, they had gas. Good access to the gas pumps and competitive pricing. I will defintely stop here again when in Kansas.

I was driving back to Denver from Wichita, after my mother's memorial service, when…read moreI got a call from Hospice that my Dad had passed away, this was the first exit, so we took it to turn around & call relatives and use the restrooms. They were upset that we parked & weren't buying gas, and just talking on phone. Through my tears I explained the situation, then asked if I could use the restroom. I needed tissues for my tears. He said NO Ma'am! You must purchase something. We bought a couple gallons of overpriced gas (.20cents more than previous station) & went on our way. They were rude& un-caring, perhaps it was my purple hair, or the fact that the rest area 4 miles from here is closed, & not many bathrooms between Salina & Hays, but considering that we were crying & upset, I felt they could have been more accommodating & understanding.

This little Conoco in Ellsworth was kind of a surprise to me. Having a newly potty trained child…read moremakes for somewhat adventurous roadtrips and since she really had to go we ended up here. It doesn't look like much from the road, and I had very low expectations from the exterior of the building, but I left feeling like I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover... or in this case a gas station by it's weathered exterior. At any rate I rushed in with my kiddo and found the restroom to be super dated, but honestly comfortable and clean. It had the retro pink tiles that at this point have basically come full circle and I found to be endearing. It was also a super cold day, and the building didn't have great heat in the restrooms so they had a little space heater running, which I thought was super considerate and made it much better for a little stop. Aside from that, the space for sure could use some updates, but it seems to me that it serves as more of a community spot rather than a busting travel center. The folks working all seemed to know people that came in and they were very friendly to me and my daughter. I don't know when I'd return here, but if you're on the road and have to stop, don't run away from this place - it's better than it looks!
