My phone was about to die. I wasn't gonna stay there the whole night, just use the charger until my friend could find me and pick me up. This cashier made me give this place a 1/5 simply because the way the situation was handled. She yells out in front of other customers that I'm not supposed to be use it all and I should stop charging my phone. I wanted to know what the problem was-- they said a policy is what the reason behind it is. I asked for the policy. THERE WAS NO POLICY. I then ask for an manager, says a manager can speak to me tomorrow @ 6am. 5 minutes later, her and a manager talk to shit about me, not realizing I was still in the store. So, this tells me you were thinking I was naive and you thought you could get rid of me. I cut them off from their immature remarks and ask for a policy. Manager was more decent than Donnell (She wasn't wearing a name tag and said that was her name.) Donnell, the cashier, grabs a note and writes down a rushed corporate number. I will be calling, I will be saying that this experience was horrible. There should be a sign saying I couldn't use that outlet. Every other place lets me an outlet TF!! Donnell's excuse: "They take down the sign every time." Manager suggests I go to 7/11. For what? You guys missed out on a 5 star review because you couldn't sacrifice 5 minutes of your outlet.

For the particular brand of tequila I was in for, however, the store only carried the Blanco (silver) one so no Reposado and/or Anejo. I, however, was able to walk away with its tequila-based coffee liqueur (Cantera Negra Cafe) which I had always wanted to try. The employees (pretty much all of them) were very professional and courteous for my shopping needs. The store is a good size. Very organized where things aren't cramped into the space. Very clean indeed. On Thursday and Saturday, they do tastings (4-7pm on Thursdays and 3-6pm on Saturdays); the designated tasting area is on the north end of the shop. You can park in the Whole Foods garage (there is a door to it inside the shop; this is convenient especially when the weather is bad with rain or show.) I don't come to this part of town very often but it's nice to know that a good liquor store with high-end feel exists right in the heart of Belmar shopping area.
