Back in 2012, a new convenience store was built at the south east corner of downtown Kokomo. It…read morewas meant to be a gateway to downtown, so no simple (nee 'boring') facade would do. So along comes Scott Pitcher of Fortune Mgmt to help create a whimsical surface and wall for the business. The materials are mostly recycled from other buildings, especially former schools. Material was also created by Kokomo Opalescent Glass. Everything appears to be angled and out of place which is especially hard to do when you have straight and square walls....it's an illusion! It definitely gets your attention as you drive or walk through downtown. Inside, the store is pretty typical of you expectations for a convenience store. This one is a little unique because it has a drive through as well. Inside, I found lots of food, mainly snacks, and beverage items. I did find it especially quiet during my visit. I saw a car at the drive through, but didn't hear anyone talking. I felt like I was in the store by myself. Review #2336

Just today I went in there to buy my cigarettes and the price on the big placard that was easily seen was a dollar cheaper than what they charged and when I asked about it the girl said oh management never takes anything down here all while the manager was sitting there stocking stuff and when I asked him about it he said too bad. Well there's a thing called false advertising in the state of Indiana and this place is the worst and their owner who also owns other stores does the same thing all the other stores

Couldn't find the creamers or sugar/sweeteners. Regular coffee tasted burnt (Monday 9:30AM). Store was unkept and dirty. Felt very unsafe there and couldn't wait to get out. Woman working counter was very busy keeping her end of a conversation with "visitors" (non-paying customers). Wasn't the cheapest gas in town and even if it ever is, I won't be going back!!! Safety in these type places is paramount; cleanliness counts too and for pity's sake, how hard is it to keep coffee fresh!

The biscuits were old and tasted so bad even with the jelly so I didn't eat those either. The ham was ok I think they've changed where they get it from there was too much gristle for me. The hashbrown is the one thing I ate so it wasn't horrible just not what I was expecting. Probably be the last time going there for me.
