Before they advised they were going out of business I purchased living room furniture. The LED lights on the chair would not turn off. They scheduled me a virtual appointment for repairs and said I will be receiving the parts and a service call shortly. I follow up with them today and was advised there is nothing they can do since they are filing bankruptcy. The said they are also handling the corporate complaints and there is nothing they can do. Decided it was time to get a new computer, as this one (that I got from Conn's in OKC about eight years ago) is aging. Went through the approval process and got a line of credit for $3,750 to get a new computer with. So far, so good. Looked through the desktops and found the HP Omen Obelisk on sale for $1,799.99 down from $2,299.99. That put the monthly payments at $50 a month, which is exactly in my wheelhouse as a disabled retiree. Called the Tulsa location to make sure they had one in stock, as it was Christmas Eve and I figured it was better to be safe than sorry when it comes to a seventy mile one-way drive. Spoke with Liz, who INCORRECTLY informed me that the sale on the HP would be going through the end of the year. At this point I decided against going out to a retail location on Christmas Eve and figured that I would grab it the day after Christmas. Cut to Christmas morning when I decide to show my brother the new computer that I'm going to buy myself and the relatively decent price I'm getting it at, and lo and behold, the sale is over. Called the store the next day and tried to speak to Liz again, and she wasn't available. The associate that I did speak with agreed to ask the manager to honor the sale price that I had been told was good through the 31st, and it took him about ten seconds to get back with the manager's refusal. If I had been told that it was a Christmas sale and would be ending the night of the 24th, I could have made the drive easily and gotten the computer $500 cheaper, but the employee spoke without having any idea what she was talking about and misled me. As far as it goes, with an employee messing up like that, I don't think honoring the sale price would have been too much to ask, either, and that falls on the manager. After having been a Conn's customer for over a decade, this was extremely disappointing, but even worse it was poorly handled. I expected better. read more

This place is crooked! No joke! They will steel your money!!! My husband and I purchased furniture from this place about a year and a half ago. We had payed our loan off completely about 4 months ago. Then today we randomly get a charge off my debit card for $200. I call customer service and they tell me that they will pay me back with a mailed check. I then, proceed to tell them "that is not an option." The best they could do was transfer it back into my debit account, but now I have to wait 3-5 days to get that money back. This is serious! They took my money without permission and at the worst time with a pandemic right now. This is money I need for my family and it's not right!! read more

I purchased some household appliances from this location a few years ago so decided I'd go back. I should have looked at the reviews before going because I would have saved myself a lot of aggravation. Please watch closely so that you don't get charged for extras you didn't want and ask questions. They want to make a sale by any means. We can afford a monthly pmt but have bad credit so we couldn't find financing for a refrigerator. Desperately needed one. Went to conns and expected to be treated like 2nd class citizens with bad credit. Also expected to have to settle with used fridge and high pmt. I waked in and was greeted by professional sales. The merch is new not used. I found mid range fridge and after doing my pprwrk, couldn't believe the low pmt. I have never felt humbled by being served so well. Got follow up calls galore making sure I was happy. Installers were excellent. Pmt included full replacement if destroyed or defective. Tulsa location is awesome! Thank you Conns! read more

Went in Sun 7/21 picked out, signed and scheduled delivery for 7/22 , show up with sectional, oopsie 2 left side pieces, and no r side. After 4 different stories about who, how and why, my order wasnt correct. I find out i have to go back and resign contract bc they messed up, driving across tulsa in 530pm traffic is no fun! Get there sign, and am promised the correct piece will be delivered today fri 7/26 only to be told when i called this morning to get a delivery time, that they made yet another mistake and cant deliver until tomorrow. .maybe. very angry and extremely disappointed! If I could give ZERO stars I would. Purchased a sectional 2 weeks ago and was given delivery date. We only went to Conn's because we wanted a very specific sectional and they were the only store that had it. Sold our current sectional yesterday, carpets cleaned today, then called to confirm delivery for tomorrow and the earliest they can deliver is the 27th. 11 days LATER than what they promised. So now we have nothing all because of their incompetence. I would've been fine with waiting 11 more days IF they had told us from the get go. I bought a laptop here. Good service overall, prices were a little high but overall a good value when you add in the 12 month 0% apr financing. I would give it another star but they called me about a survey, something I would not give over the phone or in writing. If I have an issue with something or someone I will let them know or submit a review by yelp. I got pretty irritated when their satisfaction fulfillment dept., still called I specially specified not interested in doing their survey. I hung up on them. They called back and I hung up again. My husband and I purchased a Samsung fridge and additional warranty from Conn's in Tulsa OK on October 20, 2016. On November 25, 2016 it completely stopped working. We waited two weeks before Conn's sent out a technician. He stated the compressor was no good in the fridge and needed to be changed. One week later, we thought it would be getting it fixed but this new technician who came out, stated he found a different problem with the fridge. Last Friday, December 16, 2016 we were told they were finally going to get it fixed. I left work early and waited at home till 630pm and no one ever showed to fix it. We called Conn's on Monday 12/19/16 and were told they are just going to replace the fridge with a new because they do not feel it can be fixed because it had to have come off the assembly line defected. Great. Today we received a call from Conn's saying that we were denied a replacement fridge and they were going to figure out a way to somehow fix it. It will be 30 days on Sunday since we have had a working fridge in our home. Joe Abbott and Austin Mason at the Conn's on Admiral have refused to help us although they have said they would and now refuse to take our calls. I have sent multiple emails to Conn's on their website but have yet to hear from anyone. Conn's appliance stole our $1300 and refuses to give us back our money or a new fridge. read more

Went in looking for a tv....we qualified for $3000.00 in GE financing we picked out a $2700.00 tv then asked if the price will go down on Black Friday and if so would the price be matched and we were told yes that there is a price match guarantee. So we purchased the tv, while they were doing the set up to,show the tv worked they said we had $9000.00 in Conns store credit. Then they loaded the tv in our vehicle and we started looking at other items. We picked out a sofa and then they told us there was a problem and they need to take the tv out of our vehicle which we had already paid for. Which made us feel,like criminals since we already paid for it. Then we were told we had to,put it on Conns financing which is a very high interest rate. And so far we can't get them to honor the price match guarantee that the store associate told us about. We went in early to avoid the Black Friday craziness since there was a price match guarantee. Had we know how poorly they do business we would have waited till Black Friday to,purchase it. I visited the Conn's store at 6921 E Admiral Place, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74115, Sunday, February 7, 2021. I was assisted by Salesman Benjamin Morgan. I purchased a Sampson 30" range. The only model available in my choice was a floor model, I purchased the floor model. I purchased the companion microwave which was in stock. My purchased total was $1,383.41, as a result my purchased qualified for free delivery. I was informed by Ben that my items would be delivered the next day. I declined the offer and let Ben know I would not be available on Monday, but my next day off would be Wednesday and to schedule delivery Wednesday. Ben said that would not be a problem and attempted to make the adjustment. Ben was not able to change the delivery date for Wednesday, his only option was Monday or Friday. He set up my delivery date for Friday but said he would manually have the date changed to Wednesday as I requested. Monday I was contacted by a Conn's delivery personnel who informed me that they did not have deliveries on Wednesday, upon hearing this I informed the individual that I would pick up the items at the store. The delivery person said that would be fine and they would arrange it. Tuesday, I followed up with Ben to see if my items were available for pick up at the Admiral location. I was told that Ben had just returned from lunch and he needed to clock in and go to the bathroom and to call back. I called back approximately 30 minutes later, Ben refused to take my call and I spoke with another Rep. The Rep informed me that my Range was there for pick up but the Microwave was at the warehouse. Once I was not given any options to have the item moved to the store location on Admiral I suggested I pick up the item at the warehouse. I was told that the warehouse was closed on Wednesday. Finally I suggested I pick up the range on Wednesday and they could deliver the microwave to my office. I was told that could be arranged but I would be charged a $79.00 delivery fee. Knowing my purchase qualified for free delivery, I requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with Lori. Lori did not try to resolve the issue but made it worse. She was flippant a dismissive and told me to call customer service because she could not help me. I called customer service. After speaking with 4 people, I finally spoke with Amanda at your corporate call center. Amanda immediately sympathized with me. Amanda said she could not waive the fee but said the manager at the store could do so. Amanda immediately contacted the store and spoke with the manager Matt. Matt agreed to assist me by allowing me to pick up my range at the Admiral store and the microwave would be delivered at my office at no additional cost. Amanda put me on three way so I could hear the commitment for myself. In addition Amanda notated the commitment in her notes. I arrive at the Admiral store Wednesday at 9PM to pick up my range and to provide an alternate address for delivery of my microwave. Matt seemed very perturbed and said it would take approximately 45 minutes to do a change order. I said ok. I could tell he didn't like this and he went behind his desk. Before he started working on the paper work he immediately told me I would be charged a delivery fee because the microwave alone did not qualify for free delivery. At this point I lost it. Matt I spoke with you on three way and you agreed to do this without a fee now you are telling me the opposite and there is nothing you can do about it. He lied to my face. Once I left the establishment, I could see Matt pointing in my direction as he is speaking to other employees and laughing.
