Well reading these delivery reviews is scary. My wife went out today to buy a new fridge for her daughter and had two bad experiences before really just stumbling on to this Conn's. A young Hispanic woman met her at the door, was very helpful, she found a good fridge ($1800 for a dang fridge these days, ouch) and the whole experience was great. $20 to remove the old one, that's a good deal. So they scheduled the delivery for this coming Monday Oct 10 and made promises about 3-4 reminders being sent to her that day about when they will arrive. We shall see but so far, so good. read more

I was a first time customer to Conn's, but that will be my one and only visit to this store. My fridge recently went out and was in dire need of a new fridge and quick. Zak helped us in store and let me say that he was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and made the transaction, which included applying for a line of credit, seamless. I wish I could base my review solely on his customer service, but I cannot. The delivery service was simply awful! I was given a window of delivery from 12-3pm. My husband took the afternoon off so he could receive the delivery. To make a long story short, I ended up having to make multiple calls to the warehouse and the actual store where I purchased my fridge to find out what had happened to my delivery. They never showed!!! This is not acceptable. The delivery company has not made rescheduling the delivery any easier. We will not return. read more

Conns had decent prices on appliances. I really wish I would have read the reviews first though as our experience was a total pain. 1. Josh the manager at the time told us we would be receiving a 10% discount for selecting 3 like appliances which wasn't the case. He told us after the fact we needed to spend at least 2500 and we were just under that mark 2. We paid for haul away and installation and were clear that we would be coordinating with our renters and laid out the plan of leaving the old washer and dryer in the garage and installing the new ones. The delivery team arrived outside the window and left the appliances in the shared driveway So we rescheduled a time for them to arrive to complete the job. Unfortunately their truck broke down and the team arrived without the necessary equipment to complete the job. We had to pay our movers days later to haul away and bring up the new appliances as well as install them. Still working on a resolution now over a week later and have little to no faith they will correct the issues. Honestly, save yourself the headache. read more

I have been a customer of conn's at River point in Sheridan, Colorado for 3 years now and never once missed a payment or ever late on a payment. But the staff and MANAGERS don't follow through with what they say they are going to do and the customer service department is even worse. They drawn you in and make the sale then they don't give a rats ass about you after that. I have been promised by customer service, sales Rep, and manager and all have fell through on the promises that were made. Single worst place in have ever bought anything from. The prices are on the high end of full retail, the sales people harass you like a used car lot and sales is all high pressure. The parking lot is always completely empty which should tell you something. Their "alternative" financing is basically rent to own and customers with minimal credit are absolutely gouged. Absolute nightmare. A week and a half has gone by and I still have no dishwasher installed in my home. The company rescheduled delivery THREE TIMES without even calling to let us know. When the dishwasher was finally delivered we were told a different company would have to install it since it was hardwired. We had to go back to Conn's to fill out "five minutes" of paperwork and it took OVER AN HOUR. I didn't feel the employees were pushy I thought they were apathetic. No one knows what they are doing and no one is communicative. The manager didn't even know what he was doing. When we bought the dishwasher it also took way longer than it should have. We had countless issues tracking our washer and dryer on Saturday. We found out after waiting the entire day at home that it had been cancelled the day before. Even after countless phone calls and confirmations that our shipment would be there at some point that day. After several phone calls, we finally talked to Milo at River Point who was incredibly helpful. He apologized and helped us get our order together (Again). He explained the whole process and walked us through everything. So, we were expecting our delivery to come today (Monday). Thankfully, our delivery did show up, but we were never given a phone call 30 minutes before like we were supposed to receive. One of the individuals delivering our washer and dryer did not have a mask on. The other two employees did have a mask, however, while was I also was wearing a mask. When someone is in another person's house, in today's time, it is definitely standard for them to be wearing a mask. So this was very frustrating and disappointing. I asked the individuals to place the washer and dryer in a certain area of the house because I did not want to have Conns installing the washer and dryer due to all the bad reviews. The employee hooked up the cord to the dryer and that was all that was done. I was then told to sign two boxes on the persons phone. There was no information or anything to read. He told me the first box to sign is to confirm the order was delivered. The second box to sign was to confirm that I was having someone else install the washer and dryer. Once again, there was nothing to read. Nothing to go over. I was going off his word. When I was getting the appliance installed, the individual installing the dryer told me that it wasn't turning on. The outlet was working, but for some reason the dryer wouldn't turn on. That company told me to contact Conn's to get it figured out since the dryer may be defective. Conns then told me that once I signed off, it is no longer their responsibility. The conns employee who dropped off the appliances did not tell me anything like that! There was nothing to read in the contract!!! So now, we are stuck with a dryer that doesn't even work. We are hoping that samsung can fix it, if not, this is $800 down the drain! When calling Conn's, they can't even send me the contracts that i signed because none of their staff knows what it is! What kind of service is this? The one part of the dryer that isn't working is the only party Conns installed. Spend your money elsewhere so you don't have to worry about a defective appliance and losing money on it. I recently went to Conn's on river point pkwy, even though all the reviews I read here were not good. I was definitely hesitant, but the 12 months 0 interest offer was enticing, so I went into the showroom, which is large and similar to American furniture, and was greeted by a nice salesman named Jim. He was very knowledgable about all the different types of mattresses I was interested in. He didn't seem pushy, and was actually quite helpful. He was even tolerant and friendly with my rambunctious 3 year old. I didn't purchase the mattress at my first visit, but I asked for Jim when I went back, and everything went very quick and smooth. My mattress is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! If you go to this location, find the older gentleman named Jim to help you! read more

Delivered three parts of a sectional at three different times all damaged, cheaper than other places but a pain to deal with.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! My parents went to Conn's and purchased a new washer & dryer, as well as a new stove. The washer & dryer were installed incorrectly and ended up FLOODING the bathroom and basement causing thousands of dollars in damage and clean up. The stove was also installed incorrectly and the legs broke during install. Calling corporate is a waste of time, they just hang up. Truly, shop literally anywhere else. read more

This place is the worst. I received something in the mail saying I was pre approved. So I went online and was approved and looked online to see if there was anything I needed. The next day I received 5 phone calls from this store telling me I was approved, each person told me they would remove me from the call list. I went to the store that day to see what they had to offer, aside from the young lady behind the front desk greeting me no one wanted anything to do with me. I tried to ask for help in electronics and no one would leave their phones to come over. I went home and ordered a recliner online. I waited several days and got no confirmation or anything. I can go back and see the order but it doesn't say when it will be delivered or any other information. I called this store asking for help, they transferred me 5 times before they told me I had to call their online department. I called 11 separate times over the next 3 days totaling almost 6 hours on hold. Every time I would get a hold of someone they would tell me I needed to speak to another department then hang up on me or transfer me and the next person would hang up on me. In this time I received 2 emails both asking for pictures of my drivers license so I replied both times with the provided information. I finally got them to respond via Facebook. the most response I have now is "we have provided the required information to the appropriate department once we have an update regarding the status of your order we will follow up with you. " I just got a notice they refunded my deposit and moments later another call from this store telling me I was approved. I began to explain the situation they interrupted me and said they would remove me from the call list hung up while I was mid sentence. I still have no clue what's going on or how what the next step is. read more

Worst Service Dept. ever! They do not back their products! They use a third party repair company. Problem was never fixed during the warranty time. Problem still exists! Now they want to charge $100 to come to my house and "Not fix my appliance" or in their terms, re-set the problem. Clearly this doesn't fix the issue, it's a band aid on what's really happening. Worst experience possible! Our sales person, Jessica, was great. No pressure and very patient. When she found they no longer carried the bedroom set we picked out she got a furniture manager to come talk to us. Here is where our experience went south. Stephanie, the furniture manager offered us the floor model at 40% off with free delivery. We accepted the offer and even picked out a living room set in addition to everything else! Stephanie finished her shift and handed us off to the store manager, Brandon. Brandon refused to honor the discount which was offered to us. He also refused to honor the free delivery. All said and done, we wasted four hours and requested to cancel our transactions and our deposit refunded. While Brandon was canceling and refunding, I called customer service. Their corporate office assured me the prices would be honored and left the free delivery up to Brandon. He refused to honor the free delivery citing company policy and we left empty handed. I would not recommend Conn's Home Plus to anyone for anything! read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I have actually never written a negative review on Yelp until now. I had a terrible experience today at Conn's (and they are called "Cons" for a reason) - a bunch of scammers and liars and to top it off no one knows what they are doing there. I arrive and they had a very good deal on a Tempur-pedic mattress (the only positive of the day). Anthony said the base was $300 and that I get the $300 Beats by Dre headphones since I'm getting the Tempur-pedic mattress set. The sign right on the bed said they were free when purchasing a Tempur-pedic set. Anthony goes to get the headphones for me and then runs my credit. Which took FOREVER!! They acted like they were so busy and they weren't at all. There was maybe one or two other customers in the store. 30 mins later he comes back and then tells me the box spring was really $900 and not $300 and then tells me that I not able to receive the Beats by Dre headphones either, the financing was a big headache and they were not able to do two shipments to two different locations. Sigh. I was not happy. I felt like the whole experience was a mess and a bait and switch about everything. While waiting another 30 mins after requesting the manager, Henry, who was not helpful at all, I picked up the phone, called Mattress Giant in Littleton Square (and they were so helpful and I was in and out with ease with my new mattress)... And I will never go back to Conn's again. Additionally, the furniture seemed really overpriced for what it should be priced at. (The only other big positive was a nice chat we had with another sales person, named Donald. Wish we had worked with him from the start... Maybe it would have been better.) After waiting all day yesterday for him to return my call (which he did not) regarding why my $3,393.59 King bed set order was messed up. And to have him CLARIFY what went wrong, and what they are going to do about the fact that they FAILED to mention that my adjustable bed base needed TWO $1400.00 pieces; but sold be the "ENTIRE SET" with only ONE HALF of the adjustable bed base... When I asked MANAGER TOM how long he was going to be working today, he said "I'm only working a partial day, because this is my 7th day in a row". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Customer service is great honestly, very friendly staff and they always check on you. Biggest issue and this is the reason unfortunately I did not buy anything from them is their processes for purchase. I tried using their progressive leasing option and the first time I went, I was there over an hour trying to get it figured out but nothing. I'm an easy going guy so wasn't a huge deal. I finally decided to pick something again and try again and went back however i spent another hour plus just waiting for the process to be finalized. It could have been their internet or iPad but when it takes 4 people for 1 purchase, that's way too many. I hope they fix that otherwise that store will eventually get closed. read more

Within ten minutes of paying the deposit and exiting the store, I get a call saying the parts aren't in. Had to cancel the bed frame entirely just to get the mattress ONLY a week later. Since then a few months of payments have gone by. I set it up to automatically come out the 7th of each month, which it has not done one time. I have double payed EACH month because of this. I had such a great experience! I bought living room furniture and they were so helpful. I was taken around the store by the manager and shown each individual piece that would fit our style. I was even told to not buy certain pieces as they were not very well made. My boyfriend and I felt we could easily trust them because of this. We were allowed to take our time and the experience of buying was FANTASTIC! The only reason I gave 4 Stars was due to the delivery experience. The delivery guys were rude and unprofessional and weren't even willing to try to fit furniture through our door since they thought it wouldn't fit. We asked them to drop it off so we could do it and I was told they couldn't do that either. I called the store manager again and was assisted with everything and they dropped the couch off and my boyfriend and I got it through the door just fine. I will absolutely be back again. I went to Conns to try to purchase a washer and dryer yesterday. They told me they had a promotion of $100 down payment no matter how much you purchase. So I went to try to purchase a washer and dryer that cost $679 each. It totaled to just under $2000. Not bad I thought! When I went to sign the contract I looked at the number of payments and which was 34. My payment would be $209 a month for 34 months. Oh no!!! That's over $7000??? To top it of they were trying to get me to sign a LEASE!!! Hahahahaha yeah right... BUYER BEWARE of what you sign.. Do the math. Go somewhere that's legit. I wanted to surprise my husband with a 60" TV for our 1 year anniversary, so decided "Hey, they have good deals, let me see what they can do..." I received a call from a sales rep after applying for financing stating that all I needed to do was bring a copy of my drivers license and social. I show up to the store(30 minute drive from my house), excited to buy a TV and I am told it will take roughly 30 minutes to determine credit limit that I can purchase. 30 minutes go by with no response. They state it will take another 5-10 minutes. That time frame goes by with no response. They state it will take another 30 minutes. After repeatedly asking for my drivers license, social security card and quoting new time frames, I began to be annoyed. I did not have time to just throw away, so I informed the manager on duty that I was leaving and to call me with the credit information. I did not receive a call all night so I decided to follow-up the next day. I followed-up the following day and again was told that I needed to bring a copy of my drivers license and social security card. I was ready to finance for $ 1500+ in furniture, now I will never finance or revisit a Conn's HomePlus store. RUDE employees, inflexible delivery, and poor quality furniture. BUYER BEWARE!! My husband and I purchased close to $4000 worth of sofas and end tables. The delivery was a royal pain - delivery company completely unwilling to deliver after 2 pm. I had to take off work to receive the delivery. The delivery guys were really nice and worked fast. However, one of the legs on the ottoman was broken. The guys took it back and then we had to deal with the unwillingness of the delivery company to come after two. Ended up having it delivered a week and a half later on a Saturday. Fast forward 4ish weeks later... My husband and I are laying on the couch. He stretches his arms and we hear a crack! Yep, broken frame from a slight movement. We call customer service. RUDE RUDE and more RUDE. They tell me they will have to send someone out to look at the couch and see if it can be fixed. Again, only availability is before 2pm. At this point, I am livid. I end up speaking to three different people, including two supervisors, and all I get is more rudeness and more unwillingness to help. I got nowhere on the phone, which when all said and done, took more than two hours of my time. My husband ends up speaking to a rep the next day and asked to speak to the legal department. All of a sudden, they can get us a new couch, without all the hoops to jump through. They tell him they will call to set up the delivery. 1 and a half weeks later, nothing. I then called AGAIN and spoke with a rep, who transferred me to the store. I spoke with Mario and he was RUDE too. He told me we needed to sign a new contract. When I questioned this he got very pissy and told me he used the wrong word... I am waiting for a call back and I do not know if that is even going to happen. Spent my entire sunday here. I only have Sundays cuz I work every day. So I was here all day because apparently when I was getting ready to buy, their system went down. I came back 2 hours later and their system was still down. So I went to buy something somewhere else, and they called and said to come back their system was up. We come back and buy a t.v for 929 dollars. I used their financing and i went to get my truck to pick up the t.v and i read the contract. My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer this past week. We paid for a couple that were "floor models". We set up delivery for a couple days later on Tuesday. Tuesday came and well into the afternoon had heard nothing from them. The salesman said by that point we would have received two phone calls. My husband drove to the store and was told our delivery was set up for December?? He ended up driving to get them and installing them himself. Worst experience ever.
