I'm just going to say everything was wrong. As soon as I walked in the door I had people jump at me asking me a thousand questions. All I wanted to do was walk around and look for a recliner. I had the employees watching me like a hawk and one that was"assigned to me" no thank you. It was an uncomfortable feeling. I felt like they kept an eye on me in case I put a sofa on my back and walked out. And yes, I told them that I was going to be picky and kind of complicated because who wouldn't be when spending hundreds of dollars on an item they want, and that I just wanted to walk around and look. Anything I found online that was in stock of course they didn't have. I ended up picking something out and spending way more money than I was happy with. I was unhappy with my purchase and ended up calling the very next morning and canceled the order. I went ahead and paid in cash over $1,000. I was told I would have to wait for a check to be mailed to me 5-7 days. It has now been over 2 weeks. Because they forgot to do the paperwork at the store. No, I know why they "forgot" to do the paperwork. It's because of people being upset, to put it nicely, that they didn't get the commission off the order that they peer pressured a customer into buying. I am not happy with any experience I've had at this con's home plus. And their prices are super ridiculous high. Do not recommend and will never go back. read more

Went here for a dishwasher and ordered it in store on Saturday. Was told it would be there Monday. It wasn't they said it would be there Tuesday. It wasn't Wednesday when I called the again checking on it they told me it would be there Thursday because they don't get trucks in on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then Thursday and Friday I called and it wasn't there then. They never checked in to it most days they didn't get my name. They only got serious after I went and asked for a refund. Then they realized it was a mistake on how the sales person ordered it. If they had pulled it up on the computer any of the 5 times I called that week they would have seen it was messed up. I won't ever be going back to this store where they are to lazy to look up your order when you call to ask about it. read more

I was sold a sound bar that must have already been returned to the store. the product wasn't wrapped in plastic, the cords were just hanging in the box , no warranty papers, and the sound bar didn't even work. I live over an hour away and was told that I could bring it back to swap out but no discounts could be given even after they sold me bad merchandise. gas is too high and my time to valuable to be wasted because of their mistakes. read more

Avoid this place!!!! I purchased a refrigerator from them and it has not worked properly from day one. They sent service technicians to my house 4 times and each time I got the same response and the fridge still doesn't work. The manager at this store told me there is nothing he can do about it. Going to this store is like going to the car dealership. They pounce on you when you walk in the door. Went yesterday to LOOK at a TV. Was told the sale ended yesterday to which I replied that's not true and it wasn't. Same sale today. Have not and will not buy anything from this place. The name is so appropriate. Was told by the sales manager that they would price match , went to Lowes , Home depo and Sears. All 3 places $260.00 cheaper for the same product. I have bought a fridge and a washer & dryer from Conn's both times was because my old ones quit working and I had no money to go anywhere else. I did my homework and read reviews online on what to get that Conn's had in stock. I made my choices and went to Conn's with my guard up and prepared for someone to try to rip me off but instead I found a very pleasant and helpful staff who was very patient while I looked. They explained everything well and didnt pressure me in to buying anything extra like warranties. Delivery was great and I even had a problem with fridge door and they came back out quickly and repaired with no problems, great delivery guys. My suggestions is take your home insurance policy with you, your gonna need if your going to buy and read your contract from top to bottom to make sure you dont have a balloon note at end like I did but that was not a problem I just paid more monthly than required and even paid off extra early. I was really thankful for a store like Conn's in my time of need. read more

Yesterday ,5/13/20026 My mother and I went to Conn's HomePlus In Monroe,Louisiana to buy a freezer . She needed one to replace the freezer that had just stopped working and she had an add that stated that they would take 15% off a purchase of $599.99 and that they had free delivery and free removal of the old appliance . When we talked to the sales person ,Mr.Alfred Harmon Ragam , and asked him about the 15% discount and free delivery he went to talk to the manager who informed us that since the freezer was ON SALE for $599.99 and not a regularly priced item that we could not use the coupon . We were treated rudely and will not be back and I would not recommend that anyone shop at Conn's . read more
