I purchased a GE front load washer and dryer on 09/15/2021. I contacted them today 10/17/2021 concerning an issue with the washer. It was not spinning correctly and wanted someone to come and check it for me. I was told that since I had not purchased their warrant, they would not do anything for me. Bought a brand new Samsung fridge from here April 2020. The water and ice have never worked on it...it was delivered broken. It has taken 5 weeks to get a repairman here. I have been having to buy ice and water! The doors also sustained damage during delivery. Conn's tried turning the physical damage into Samsung. Samsung wouldn't cover it. Conn's isn't willing to cover the damage they caused either.... So here I am...bought a brand new fridge. What I have...no water, no ice, damaged fridge that no one is willing to repair. We paid for our washer and dryer to be delivered on January 22. We called them to get a time for delivery and were told it wasn't coming now until much later. They are not worth a star. I know how they got their name. We purchased a dryer on a Saturday it was delivered on Sunday and did not work correctly. We finally discovered the dryer had a sensor that was not compatible to our older home. We wanted to exchange for a dryer not so intelligent.....a few days later. They would exchange but had to pay a restocking fee. Not happy about that....if I was to return the dryer without paying restocking...I would have a volunteer repo on my credit....no win situation. They delivered our less expensive dryer a week later and it is defective. Conns is refusing to exchange our dryer we've had for 2 days that is defective....I know now how they make their money!!! Worst company ever! I just bought a new house and purchased a couch, recliner, king bed, mattress and a refrigerator. I never received my contract, and when I got the contract in the mail, the totals were completely different than what the prices were. example: my refrigerator was $1099.99 and the contract states its $1599.99. I was told that my couch and my recliner together were $1500 and they are charging me $1599 for the couch and an additional $879.99 for the recliner. In addition to the prices being incorrect, I was also charged for things I either didn't need, or never received. When I called customer service I was told I received 2 recliners (which I only have 1) and they also charged for rails for the bed which I didn't need. The reps were super pushy even after I told them over and over I was not buying a $7100.00 mattress, and his response was "well, we are not taking that off." I should have walked out then, but the manager stepped in and lowered the price. Somehow, I am still being charged $14000.000 for the few pieces I did purchase. I'd rather sit on cardboard boxes and sleep on an air mattress than ever do business with this company again. I'd highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Conn's is exactly what they do. Then when I spoke to the store Manager Jonathan, he assured me they wanted to keep my business and could pick up my items that evening. We bought a refrigerator on Sunday August 15th. Brooke our sales person was far than proficient at her job, this should of been our first sign to not purchase. We were in there for almost 2 hours while she tried to figure out how to do the purchase. Regardless we purchased a LG brand at 4k, plus warranty and tax we spent 5k. Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday 8/18/21. When refrigerator was brought in our home, it was as the wrong one. Delivery drivers tried to get us to keep it but no we refused. Wife went to Conns to try to fix issue. She spoke to Diane, who stated she was from San Angelo and was not even suppose to be there as she was the district manager, (Lie #1). Mean time delivery driver broke my water valve in wall, tried leaving without telling me. I had to call after hours plumber to cap it off to stop flooding my kitchen, $140 out of pocket for his stupidity. Back at Conns Diane stated we would be called by corporate to fix this as the refrigerator we were supposed to get was out of stock. No call came Diane stated she would see if there was another fridge at other stores, this never happened. I spent next 2 hours on phone calling every store in Texas to find the fridge. I found one, same model number different color in Odessa. Called Diane told her what I found, she stated she would be in at 9 am to get this transferred to Lubbock, (lie #2). She stated we would have our fridge by Friday at the latest, (lie #3). Thursday morning I called Odessa to recheck on my fridge, Diana was not on it as promised. Talking to Odessa found out Diane was actually Lubbock store manager not DM, back to lie #1. Got to store at 10 when opened no Diane. So I had to get with manager on duty and my wonderful sales person Brooke to get this next fridge transferred and delivered. This color change, same model cost me $200 more than original cost. Delivery did not happen til Saturday. Speaking of delivery company, they were going to reimburse me for the plumbing damage, but in order to receive my delivery Saturday morning instead of Saturday night, I had to wave the reimbursement for my plumbing damage. You can not call Corp office, as there is no way to get a hold of them. Customer care isn't helpful. At the end of the day I hope this fridge doesn't break down, after reading other reviews, I'm worried about the warranty I purchased. The Lubbock Conns location definitely reflects Diane's dishonest and non caring leadership. Do not purchase from this place. There are plenty of other options in Lubbock for appliances and furniture. This has been the worst experience of my lifetime. I purchased a refrigerator. the refrigerator fit into the space allowed for it. However, the doors are so thick they would not open. Customer service offered no help what so ever! The store offered no help what so ever! The only concern Conn's had was a 15% restocking fee for return or exchange. The store (Juan and Brandon) said pay through customer service. Customer service said pay at the store. They do not know right hand from left hand. My son bought me a $600 microwave from Conn's. It stopped working 14+months ago. He also bought some other items. The microwave stopped working and it is over $300 to get fixed. The WORST customer service in Lubbock Texas. It started with the delivery people damaging to door to the fridge at the time of delivery then the salesman at Conn's not submitting our installation order to their 3rd party installer for the dishwasher. You're supposed to get a call on the day your appliances are delivered or the next day. At the end of the second day I called to state that I had not received a call from the third party. They put me on hold forever then said I'd just have to wait for a call. That was on Thursday. I called 3 more times and each time I was out on hold forever then told again I'd just have to wait. Sunday we went back to the store where we found a guy that actually listened to my issue and he discovered the mistake. Out dishwasher was finally connected on Monday. Part two of the same order: we ordered a range that was supposed to take a month to get here. A week and a half later we got a call and we're asked when we'd like it delivered. I explained we still had to Have gas plumbed in etc and couldn't take delivery for a couple of weeks. They showed up at our house two days later to deliver it. Again we go to the store to communicate our issue and rescheduled for Saturday. We start getting notifications on Thursday that the range would be delivered on Friday between 3 and 6 even though we had scheduled for Saturday. We decided that would be fine however at 545 they still hadn't showed and we had dinner plans. We call again and we're told we'd have to wait until Sunday because all the Saturday slots were taken. We asked for the first slot but we're given the last. Next notification just came through. 6-9 Sunday night. These people are unprofessional, rude and do not care about their customers. I would give 20 negative stars for for attitude and lack of attention to detail. read more

Yesterday after The post I got a call from a lady named Fiona. She called to tell me that she received my review and asked me what was going on so I explained. Fiona was very polite and listen to what I have to say. She explained that she has listened to my phone calls, that have been made and she appreciates my feedback. She politely explained there is nothing they can do to help me with the pay off but my feedback has been heard it has not been looked over or ignored. She has submitted a work order for the website to be corrected so that others will not have to go through the same issue and she will speak with an employee as far as handling customer service issues. I told her I am grateful they are fixing the website, for all future users, so nobody has to go through that and even though my issue has not been resolved I do appreciate her call and her kindness. Today I received another phone call from Conns. To be honest I rolled my eyes took a deep breath,said OK what now& answered phone. A very professional and sweet lady named Kristian (big hugs ) called to thank me again for my review and my feedback She wanted me to know she had read my review and listened to my phone calls. She also informed me that they are thankful for the suggestion for the website so they can better help all Conns customers. I told her thank you. She then told me that she and Conns wanted to take it one step further and address my Initial reason for calling. They have decided to zero out my account. I gasped and happy tears started coming on down as I continued to listen. She explained that customer service &loyalty are very important to Conns and they wanted to make things right. ( Of course I am leaving more of her kind & thoughtful words out, sorry I am still just so excited & thankful ) After she was done talking I told her Oh my goodness, I'm sorry I'm hyperventilating right now, She laughed and said it's okay calm down. About 10 minutes after speaking with Kristian, I received another phone call from Conns. This time I spoke with Kawana. Long story a little bit shorter, there was a little bit of a mix up Kawana told me she would like to clear some things up & call me back. And she did,she confirmed my previous conversation and Assured me that everything has been taken care of. She explained I will be receiving a zero invoice in the mail along with a $50 gift card. What Conns did not know is that I was really panicking about having to pay almost $2000. $2000 is a lot of money to my family right now, My daughter is in Her final year of college at Texas Tech. Not only that, but my husband & I had decided it is time for me to go back to school to become a nurse. (I start next week, woo-hoo) So paying for two full time colleges on one Salary was scary enough without having to add in the extra bills. This is the worst experiance I have ever had. I purchased almost $7,500 worth of furniture from the Lubbock Store. It was all taken care of up front but when you go to make final pay-off its a nightmare..... I payed my account in full ($5,100) after a years worth of monthly payments. I have received calls and emails and text non stop telling me I'm late with my payment. I call in and am told to call 1 of 4 different 800 numbers to get this cleared up and am lucky to speak with someone from america that speaks english. BUYER BEWARE: My dad purchased a lot of furniture from here along with pillows which turned out to be defective. He spoke to several customer service reps over the phone and they promised to send him new pillows to his HOME without him having to pay anything. Not only did they not send them to his home, but they sent them to the store where he had to go and pick them up. He gets to the store and they asked him to pay a DEDUCTIBLE for new pillows even though the ones that he initially purchased were defective... ARE YOU KIDDING ME CONNS? Do NOT do business with this store. I bought a refrigerator from them on a Friday. The salesman said it could be delivered on Sunday - Great!. The delivery guy called 15 minutes prior to the start of the 3 hour delivery window to tell me his truck broke down and he couldn't deliver it today or Monday but that they MIGHT be able to get to it on Tuesday. Been without a refrigerator since Friday and the Sunday delivery was THE MAIN REASON I bought from Conn's. Needless to say, I was NOT HAPPY. I called the store to speak to the manager and he could care less when I canceled my order. Didn't apologize or try to make anything right. Guess they don't need the business. Seems to me that their delivery people could rent a U-Haul to get their Sunday deliveries done. Went to Home Depot and got the same refrigerator, cheaper, to be delivered on Wednesday. A day later than Conn's, but I didn't want to take the chance that the Conn's delivery truck MIGHT be operational by Tuesday. read more

I had already purchased several times and last purchase was about a year ago. I was getting the runaround from service and manufacturer. I was not happy. I found the former Store Managers name still listed and come to find out he had stepped down. But even, he continued to help me through a recall, went above and beyond, found what the manufacturer would do for me and continued to guide me through the best procedures to do. He was very professional and knowledgeable about product, financing and best options in my situation. I have never had anyone go above and beyond to help me like this gentleman did. Even after, he still understands the concept of Customer Service. Many there still don't even know the product. So if you have questions or need someone that will follow through with commitment and honesty....Please ask for Mr. Sergio Juarez. He has re affirmed my current position and saved a future loyal customer. I will make sure that I send all my friends and family to speak with him. Horriable customer service. We ordered our stuff over a week ago and still do not have our purchase. It showed up 7 days after we ordered it when we received our entertainment center was broken our beds we ordered and dressers were all wrong there miss mismatched pieces they weren't even the correct product that we are paying for we paid for installation which is an extra $100 and I didn't even do that with our entertainment center the manager there had no effort in trying to resolve the issue he stated he'll see what he can do the corporate office says that our kids can just sleep on the floor in other words we're on our own we tried to cancel order and now they won't return our call to let us know if your order was cancelled or what they're going to do it's beyond horrible service we will never use Conn's again I will never recommend them and I will give them bad reviews day after day after day read more
