They would price match but would charge me $75 for delivery. It took all day to get this thing approved because Google maps couldn't find my address. They deliver me a brand new fridge with a dent on the side and a scratch all the way across the fridge. They put the handles on before the took the plastic off. And the delivery guys were not properly wearing their mask. One was wearing a Marijuana mask. So I guess we know what he does. And he was the driver. Definitely not happy with my purchase. The only good thing Was the Sales lady, Pat. She was very friendly and helpful. read more

But as soon as you have a problem with an appliance or the furniture or the fact that they accidentally take the full balance due instead of the 100.00 payment you made you have to deal with the credit people. June 28th, went to the store in Tyler, Texas. Actually went in to check to see if the store sold California king bedroom sets. Calab, opened the doors at 10 am and he immediately started helping me when I walked in. I was told they did not sell California king bedroom sets. Then said well i am interested in looking at refrigerators. He helped me find one quickly. We did my financing which took awhile, because I have my credit frozen. He was patient while i took care of unlocking. Was cunfused though. I already have an account, and my limit had been raised long ago. So other than a soft pull to verify identity, but nope I found it is a hard pull! Bad ! For someone whom already has an existing account. Now for issue at hand delivery was scheduled for June 30th. Which was great, however I live in Palestine on 168 acres and we have approximately 3/4 mile long dirt road driveway. The weather forcast called for an 80% chance of rain. So Saturday the day befor delivery, I desided to change it to another day do to the rain and our driveway is awful in heavy rain. My delivery was rescheduled for Tuesday July 2. It never rained a drop on Sunday the 30th of June. So the driveway was dry. The driver came pulled in at the end of our driveway and said he was afraid, cause of red clay driveway. Ummm its been that way for many years. My husbands family have lived here for almost 70 years. I was quite angry. I called the store and delivery made it aware that I was not a happy customer. I kept trying to call the driver cause from the time that he called and said he was 7 mins away i gave him specific directions on where i lived. As it takes a few mins for me to get to the end of the driveway. I put my shoes on got the keys and got in our old farm truck to meet the drive and the end of our driveway. Within that time he took a picture and left. I seen the picture not much different than the one i also took. But he had to have litteraly pulled baredly in snapped the picture and left. I never saw him i called several times nothing. Then dispatch called me. I was livid. Afraid omg. Wish i could post a picture on here. So i was rescheduled for the 4th. Again we had a 70% chance of rain but got none. As a curtiousy, I was trying to be gracious and give them a second chance. Do to the chance of rain on the 4th of July I called said lets put it out till Sunday the 7th so to make sure the driveway is dry! This was the 2nd when i called and set to the 7th. On Saturday July 6 Manager Ron Taylor called me and said i was taken off the schedule for Sunday and scheduled for Monday July8th. This was not acceptable no one was going to be home. I let him know that this wouldn't be happening had the driver on Tuesday wasn't "Afraid." Ron Taylor put me on hold, came back to the phone 10 minutes later said your back on the schedule for Sunday the 7th. Well later that evening I noticed i had called a call from the delivery department. So i called back hopefully to confirm delivery. But of course not, it was still set for Monday the 8th tomorrow. Which no one will be home. I called the store they do not care. I gave my refrigerator away thinking i would have a new one on the way today. Not HAPPY amd have no idea of any delivery. Tomorrow Monday my plan is to buy a refrigerator elsewhere. Another thing it is advertised at $999.00 the sale price for the 4th. Revision: they commented that they contacted me but that is false information no one has contacted me nor made it available for me to comment on their Facebook post on their page so the reply back is not true and is just a way to alter my original post like they have redeemed themselves. This post will not be revised until I see actions taken were im available to post and my parents have been taken care of properly. Do not buy anything from this place i made a bad review on their page because of the service my parents have had and they blocked me from commenting on post on Facebook so I called the store and they told me I didn't buy anything from there so it was none of my business! Now I'm mad and how would they know I've never bought anything there? Just very Rude and unprofessional! My parents basically bought a brand new broken refrigerator that doesn't work and they want to repair after my mother has repeatedly asked for a new one! MINUS STARS!! You sold us a chair that, according to your tech, was broken at the factory. We have tried REPEATEDLY to get this resolved but your people have more excuses than the beach has sand. They had so many options and beautiful furniture and appliances. We ended up getting a couch and love seat. The buying/leasing process was so simple and I would definitely recommend them. The girl who helped us was great and we will definitely be back to hopefully work with her again! We are still waiting for the delivery we had to schedule it a few days away to give us time to get rid of our old furniture but they were ready to deliver the next day! Go check them out! read more

My first time in a Conn's, I wanted to buy a TV Console. I picked what I wanted out and had it set up for delivery for Sunday or today. On yesterday the store called and said that there were a problem. They said that the one at the warehouse was damage. They ask if we could come in and look at the one on the floor so, we did. The console on the floor was damaged very badly in the front; a big piece was missing our of it, the back was falling off and deep scratches on top. It did not have a new look about it at all, it looks like it was sold and they reprocessed from someone. The original price was $ 499.99. I said that I would take it if I get it for 1/2 price. There best offer was $ 299.99. As I look at it, it should be $ 175. So, we looked at another one for $ 799 and we ask if they could give us some type of discount for the mess up. The manager didn't even give us a Military discount. Conn lie that they have things in there warehouse and then tell you in hope that the customer would buy the broken used junk that they have on the floor for a high price. I will never go back in that store in Tyler, Texas. My rating for them is a -0. read more

They had exactly the gas range we were looking for. The salesman was friendly and helpful. He was willing to double check availability and assure us of delivery in 2 days. However, when they rang up the sale, it was $150.00 more than the tag. The manager pointed out the very fine print that said the price expired yesterday. We bought a GE refrigerator from the Tyler store back in May of 2019 while they were just opening. The product is great and the store appearance is impressive but the staff know little or nothing. They were all walking around with iPad's or something like that hanging from them and when asked a question they'd try to look it up on them but never could give a good answer. The sales guy we worked with was pretty good in helping us find the right size of refrigerator we needed and the financing was great. They said that it came with two extra water filters but didn't have them but we would have them when they delivered the refrig. Well, when they delivered it they didn't have the filters and said they left them at the shop. They said to go back to the store for them. I went back in. No one knew exactly which filter went to it but tried to match it with the one on the floor but they didn't have any. "Fine. I'll come back when I need them." The filter light went on at the end of the 6 months so we went back to the store but was given the run around. This time I had the product number of the filter. "Come back next month as they are on back order," they said. Well came back yesterday and they were still on back order and was told that they wouldn't be in until Dec. 21. By now I'd received a note from GE with the actual letters of the filter and showed them. I found that I was able to purchase it online. (I found that out also in October as well). So, we went to Lowes and picked one up. I called customer service this morning and was told that it wasn't covered under the warranty so that was between us and the store. They are $49.99 and only last for six months so it is a little chunk of change. 1. Don't offer something if you can't provide it., 2. The staff seem to know little or nothing as I mentioned earlier. 3. I noticed both times I was in that there were other disgruntled customers. 4. I don't plan to purchase from them again. I'll go back to Lowe's. 5. I truly hope for their sake and the economy's sake that they can get it together so they can succeed. Maybe one day they will. read more

Amended review from 01/26/20: Reached a solution with Conn's for delivering the wrong Dryer. We keep the Dryer sent for the same price point as our original order (no waiting 3 weeks). Sales Associate (Caleb) worked very hard Monday to make us happy. Manager we worked with on Tuesday to clear up paper work etc was very nice and helpful. read more

I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and range hood plus all the extra parts and 4 year extended warranty for each appliance ($6400) in Conn's Tyler in 2/24/21. When I was making the purchase it seems no one that worked there knew what they were talking about and it took 3 people to figure everything out. Three of the pieces were available but the electric range wouldn't be available for delivery until 4/12/21. I wanted them all delivered on the same day and they said that was ok. I had to show them on my phone the price of the warranty because they were trying to charge much more for each appliance. After the sale was complete I was told "my name would be put on the refrigerator, dishwasher and range hood and would be held for me until the electric range arrived". I noticed the start date of the warranty was the date of purchase - not the date of delivery. On 3/3/21 I was informed they left off a part and needed me to come back in and sign a new invoice. After comparing the 2 invoices I noticed they did not add a new part but actually increased the price of my warranty on the dishwasher and changed the delivery date to 4/14/21 and warranty start date to 3/3/21. When I brought this to their attention via email the manager told me to call a few days before the scheduled delivery date and they would rewrite my deal to readjust the warranty amount and change the warranty start date to the delivery date. When I went back in to Conn's prior to delivery date as instructed the same manager told me they couldn't rewrite the invoice because it would cancel my order and they would have to start over thus losing my appliances. If I cancelled my order those appliances would go to someone else and I'd have to wait for more to arrive in May. This time they said "it's not like we have your name on those appliances in our storeroom". Hmmm.... So I either had to leave the invoice as is and accept the increased warranty amount and wrong warranty start date or cancel and start over. I voiced my concerns about the warranty as the refrigerator ice maker has bad reviews. I wanted to be sure should I have problems I could rely on my warranty for 4 full years. The manager said they have since fixed the ice maker issues and not to worry about it. The whole transaction felt a little bait and switch to me. Basically you pay for a warranty on products you don't even have yet. My warranty started 3/3/21 and the products were not actually delivered until 6 weeks later.
