Well I've never been to an apple farm as big and busy with many things to do as this. I can describe it as a mini carnival. The price fits this description. Plan on spending a lot of money here. But then there are many activities to do here. Mainly it's geared for kids with lots of games and activities but adults can have fun too. What I really enjoyed was the train and hay rides. Lovely view of the farm and things on display like a man made pond, animals, trucks, tractors to name a few. You also see the huge corn maze they have that you can do. Personally, would have liked to try it but was weary of getting lost. The farm closes at six and I got there after three, time spent in traffic getting to the lot and looking for parking. There's lots of food to choose from. There is a shop with plenty of food, produce, deserts to buy. FYI: the apple crisp with ice cream was very good! Then there's hot or cold apple cider, and the apple cider donuts. The apple orchard is about 25.00, which is a separate price from the farm price. I didn't pick apples. I've done it many times before and wanted to walk around the farm and experience it. Also, weekends and holidays are very crowded. I wish I knew this. Parking is difficult, if you are patient you can find. I wouldn't say I want to come back soon. Once at this big farm is enough, being so crowded and lots to do makes it feel overwhelming. But it is something you have to try one time. I will go back to the smaller farms to pick apples. Another smaller one in Peabody is just as nice with less stuff to see and do but it makes it more cozy and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Again, I'm glad I came this October. It was an adventure to last me a lifetime.

This is an example of just ONE week of what we got for our CSA share and we have a HALF share!!

We get the BEST CSA every week!! I have compared prices and the prices at Connor's are the BEST!!

We went there this weekend to have some outdoor fun with my nieces who are 2.5 years old. The place is huge with so many activities for kids and animals to pet slides, bought star, tractors, a small train ride, trikes, a small rope course, ball tossing. We were there for a few hours and they also have a nice grocery store at the entrance where you can get something to drink, coffee or some fresh fruit. It wasn't busy this weekend and from what they told us the summertime doesn't get packed but in the fall it gets very busy and they told us that just to exit the parking lot in October can take you 20 minutes.l do I probably not visiting that farm in October. The only thing that bothers me is that they say no backpacks at the entrance so they would probably stop you from bringing your own food and their food is terrible. We had one of the brick oven pizzas and it tasted horrible. It tasted like a warmed up lunchable pizza. Exactly like that!!! Which I didn't think was possible from a pizza that came out of a brick oven.

Connor's farm is never a disappointment for the kids, but a major wallet pit for parents. Additionally, things like the go carts are frustrating because the line grows quickly and at times you wait for 30+ minutes (I don't) but we definitely passed the same family about 4 times waiting for their child's turn in the go carts. It's incredibly expensive and some activities cost even more money despite the amount paid for a bracelet. Apples are as expected at any apple orchard. We saw a couple stopped outside the gate and accused of stealing, not the most comfortable moment but, eh... what can ya do.

One of the best places to take your kids around the Fall time (which is when I took my sons and niece). Endless things to enjoy and the price is reasonable.

This is the second time we've been to Connor's for fall activities: apple picking and the pumpkin patch. I love that they are so close to us, 30-35 min drive and no tolls! Also price point on a weekday is great! During COVID times, I definitely recommend going during the week if you can, we went on. Tuesday, around 1 pm and that was perfect. Very few people so social distancing was easy to do, everyone except children under 3, must wear masks. Less people also means no lines and really being able to enjoy the games and animals. It was late in the season, so I wasn't super bummed about the lack of apple picking, the orchard was open but due to high winds, all of the apples were on the ground. Pumpkin patch was still in pretty good shape. The corn maze was looking a little sad, but again, it late in the season. I have to say that usually I don't like apple cider donuts, but while in the store the donuts were just coming out of the fryer, so I couldn't resist. I actually liked their donuts! They were light and fluffy and didn't have the usual old Bonnie bell lip smacker flavor I associate with apple cider donuts. Overall a great activity to do with kids during the week to break up the monotony of the times we live in. There are animals, rides, games and multiple playgrounds/play areas. 3 stars because concessions were closed and a handful of games were in disrepair.

Is there a entrance fee? If so, what is it and do you apply it to the purchase of pick your own apples. What are the prices of the different size bags if you pick your own.…

There is an entrance fee for all the activities. If you go to their website it has all the information you need. There isn't a fee to shop in the store. The store is where the apple crisp and ice cream are also. Along with hot apple cider donuts.

Are there any vegan apple cider donuts?

    Hi do you allow puppies?

    We do not.

Do they carry Freedom Gluten Free donuts? I read that Connors Farm is a location I can purchase them at.

Yes we do carry them. Thank you for the inquiry.

I asked again and asked if there was anybody that spoke English. She called over a guy who apparently didn't speak English either. I asked him and he did the same - pointed at the bread, while the two girls giggled. There was no Anadama bread and apparently no English. This is poor customer service. If you're going to hire workers who can't speak English, they shouldn't be dealing with customers. It's very frustrating trying to communicate with people that can't understand and act disrespectfully to customers. I emailed the business to express my disappointment and frustration with my experience but have heard nothing back which is a further disappointment. Update: After another attempt at contacting them, this time via FACEBOOK, I heard back immediately and was taken seriously and assured it would be dealt with. She explained that those workers are bakers and aren't required to speak fluent English but will still talk with them about what happened.

It's huge by farmer's market standards and has everything you could think of. Aside from the standard selection of veggies and fruits there's flowers, cheese, yogurt, granola, honey, baked goods, sausage, wine, jams, pasta, pasta sauce, pickles, meat, fish, and spice blends. Plus there were three vendors selling ready made food while I was there. If I lived nearby I would be spending every week and a lot of money here. My favorite booth was the Cape Ann Backyard Growers, which is a group of backyard farmers selling their produce. One of the backyard growers was a 10-year old girl who was a better salesperson then most adults. She offered me some rose tea sweetened with honey and told me about all of their products. I ended up buying some dried bayberry leaves (tastes like bay leaves) from her backyard for $1. I swung by Trupiano's sausages because of Jenna A's review and noticed that every minute someone came and bought sausages. Quite a following. Check out Maitland Mountain Farm's pickles- the giardinera (pickled veggies) are amazing. And the flowers she grows are the most beautiful flowers I have seen at a farmer's market. Plus, she sells little boxes of edible flowers. I forget the name of the vendor I got English Muffin bread from but it's very good. If you're a tourist, still check it out like I did. Okay, sure. Honestly, that's not all that important to me. I come here for two reasons: bread and sausage. My family loves Trupiano's sausage. It was once sold in some local store, but now, you can only get it here at the farmers market or from Trupiano himself. My parents swear that this is the best sausage EVER, so keep that in mind. I, personally, love the baked goods available here. My favorite is Swissbäkers, a bakery out of Reading. You just can't go wrong here. Try the chocolate croissants or the Choco Weggli. But besides the meat and baked goods (and fruits, veggies, fish, homemade jam, honey, etc), they have plenty of other stuff. Activities for kids, musicians, craft booths -- last year, we bought some bag clips from preteen girls who were raising money for cancer. Sweet, right? This year, it'll be open until October 7th. The hours are 3 - 6:30pm every Thursday. If you're a local, definitely check it out. I try to go every week.

Oh and get there early, but I guess that applies to all farmer's markets; the best stuff goes quick. Most of the vendors are regulars but there are always new people coming and going. Our favorites include the two stalls selling cheese, one from Vermont selling cow and sheep cheese and the other from Mass. selling goat cheese. I forget the name of the goat cheese farm right now, but the lady who makes and sells it is so nice and remembers us from year to year. Great Harvest Bakery (which is located in Beverly) also comes every week with some great bread. There's at least four fruit and vegetable stands, an organic beef stand, an organic pork stand (mmm, great bacon and chops); a Vietnamese farm stand, and more. They also have people selling crafts and usually some kind of entertainment for the kids. It's a real lively family-friendly hootenany. It's not just food shopping; it's a fun excursion.
