I think it's bc her ingredients are simple and fresh or maybe it's the love, but she can bake! We had a cake made for our daughter's 30th and we sent a design which Lana did beautifully. At first we thought the outside icing was fondant bc it was so perfect but we got a happy surprise with the realization that it was yummy white icing! We got a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting inside. The cake was fabulous and the frosting was unreal. It's a buttercream frosting but she added a bit of salt to it, which made it so delicious. The ordering process was super easy and she even delivered it to our house for a small fee. Even the cake box was good, nice and sturdy but with a window to see what's inside. Lana has created a very high quality product and high quality customer service but for a reasonable price. We can't wait until the next special occasion so we can order another one! Thank you, Lana!

Guests got a huge kick out of these cookies, and they went like wildfire! In addition, they are as delicious as they are charming. I was at a follow-up event several days later, and I had a guest come up to me to commend me on the party. Of all the things that I did...the taco bar, the margarita stand, the donut tower...none of that was mentioned. Out of EVERYTHING...this guest approached me and told me how delicious that cookie was! Tara gave my daughter a special box to savor, and I'm hoping she'll share because they all went so fast that I never got to try one. Tara is professional, and helpful, and went out of her way to make sure the cookies were perfect. Tara, expect to hear from me in the future. Your cookies were the hit of the event. THANK YOU!

I have had amazing cake shops in Los Angeles (sweet lady Jane, Porto's, even the tom cruise cake) but this place makes the most amazing, consistently delicious cakes. I dream about the moment there's another event that needs a cake so I can bring some from Crimson cake. I love their cakes so much I ordered a full cake tasting so I can try different flavors. My top favorites: 1. Chocolate with chocolate mousse (it's insanely perfect and great for freezing small pieces and bringing it out to nibble. Also equally love chocolate with fresh strawberries but just doesn't last as long in the fridge. 2. Black Forest cake - decadent chocolate with fresh raspberries that cut the chocolate decadence with the perfect balance 3. Pineapple and coconut- anyone who loves this combo will LOVE this cake. My husband's favorite. 4. Red velvet - not overly sweet exactly how I love it. The other favors I've tried that were decent were carrot cake, pistachio raspberry, almond raspberry. Pistachio flavor is super subtle. Carrot cake was not as moist as other carrot cakes I've had and almond raspberry couldn't taste much almond. Service is great and always good communication. They even made sure to load my car with items I've over based over the past year. Location is in a business park area so never had an issue finding parking. Crimson Cake will be my forever cake shop. The seating was spacious and comfortable, and the service was great throughout. We tried the goat cheese & spinach quiche, summer salad, crème brûlée, and lemon meringue tart. The summer salad was fresh and loaded with smoked salmon, avocado, mango, and pistachios. Definitely save room for dessert. The crème brûlée had that perfect crunchy caramelized top, and the lemon meringue tart was really cute and had a nice balance of tart and sweet.
