I've been going on and off, dependent on my injury, for 27 years. In the past I've been treated for 2 ruptured discs, tennis elbow, a torn meniscus and surgery of my left knee, a torn hamstring, plantar fasciitis and a torn gluteal muscle. I'm currently recovering from a rotator cuff restoration and, as always, couldn't be happier with my progress. One of the great things about Somers AON is the educational experience. After several months of recovery I needed to find someone to help me continue my recovery during a cold winter. A family friend recommended for me to go see Dr. Mascetta, I hesitantly made the appointment. It was the best appointment I ever made and continue to make to this day. We went over my scans, discussed my healing, discussed what I do for a living having a physical job. We discussed what he wanted to do for helping me recover and most importantly, stating "we can fix this". After seeing him week after week for several months we spaced out my visits to bi weekly, and today, I see him when needed for adjustments that continue to help me daily with every day life. We developed a plan with what I need to do at home with important stretching and exercises to go along with the adjustments. I couldn't be more happy with my full recovery. I am fortunate to have his office nearby locally in Ridgefield. His office staff are phenomenal, professional and most importantly, family oriented. The therapy/program is suited to my problem, so I'm going to focus on what I liked about the way the facility is run. 1) Not pertinent for me, but easy to get in to, parking is not a fiasco -- this actually is a major afterthought for most places as they try to put in-group offices together. Instead, PT not requiring a drop off and long walk or not having to navigate a bunch of corridors is a pretty big deal. 2) I've been early both times and this place isn't overbooked. Overbooking is an increasing problem among specialties and there is less and less regard for the patient's time. They're busy here, but it's not slammed or over-crowded. Very big plus. 3) You can miss the turn in here, and even though it's a busy road, it's in a location that you have several choices of directions to come with, it's only a 1-on-1 road with good sized breakdown lanes All of the patients seem to value their time there, and everyone that works there seems to be doing what they want to do. Physical Therapy and recovery are a very personalized experience - that appears to be the top priority at Top Hat. If your injury or problem has been particularly discouraging or draining, this is a really big deal an I recommend them highly.

They are kind and compassionate and truly care about their patients. That is the difference between them and other practices. I have a physician for life who I can call and he will see me without an appointment. Plus, Dr. John is a leading practitioner in his field, highly educated, and has a particular skill of identifying what is wrong and the best way to treat it. Their dedicated shows every single time I go there. I read another review where someone was complaining about having to pay for more than a physical. Every doctor charges for their services as they too run a business Dr. John's fees are not only reasonable, but they submit the insurance claims for you! Just the most polite staff and they all are bilingual too! If you are looking for a top notch doctor that cares about you and you can trust your health to, I can't think of any other place to go. What a contrast to so many other practices where you feel like a cattle being rushed in and out for a quick buck and are just a number. I myself don't shop for a doctor like I would shop for a commodity. I chose a doctor because they are the best in the field. Ivy rehab , southington, Ct. specifically, my PT Rachel did a great job helping me. Rachel worked with me for about eight weeks and provided an exercise plan to improve my strength and movement in my ankle. Results have been great and I'm now on the road to Recovery. Rachel has proven to be an excellent PT, very knowledgeable on my condition and explained in detail how the treatment plan would work, which was much appreciated. I would recommend physical therapist Rachel without reservation. She is highly skilled and knowledgeable on many conditions.

A few infections... some pain..hearing loss and lots of blockage. I've been to two different ent docs and have had no real answers other than meds ( not my cup of tea !!) Well I finally mentioned it to Karen and as of today after just one visit with her I feel sooooo much better!! She released so much pressure I was having with a few adjustments and I could feel my sinuses and ear drain. I am sticking with a weekly visit to her as I work toward a healthy me and I can't wait to get back on track !! She also showed me done stretches that will help keep things moving free. I have seen her once a week for 5 weeks, to-date, and I've experienced noticeable improvement. I've been to several (very) good Acupuncturists over the years and I can honestly say Dr. Bavaro is quite excellent. Her staff is nice & friendly, too. Nice "homey" office. And I look forward to her treating me with Chiropractic in the near future.
