The driver/technician was incredibly professional, patient, and kind. My mom was in a wheelchair, and he made sure she was comfortable and felt safe during the entire process. He was also physically strong, which was very helpful in making the transfer smooth and secure. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and had great air conditioning--something we really appreciated in the summer heat. The van was easy to access and well-suited for wheelchair transport. However, on the day he was supposed to be picked up, they never confirmed anything and I had to call them. To make a long story short, the owner seemed clueless about where they were going! And then come to find out, they don't deliver bedridden patients, only wheelchair service! The owner was a total flake! That's when my sister found Swift Valley Medical Transportation. They have glowing reviews on Yelp, and I was just happy that they could make time in their busy schedule to help us out! It was reassuring to see that they have 24 hour service! Even though they had to endure Sacramento's typical rush hour traffic, my dad was delivered to me safe and sound! And they were just the nicest of guys as they gently and professionally placed my dad into the hospital bed. When I thanked Omar and Steve for being available on such short notice and told them about the run around we got from the other transport company, one of them said we have a "no flake policy!" LOL! The owner, Megan, was very personable and kind, and patiently answered all of my questions. Booking the appointment only took a few minutes. You can pay via credit card at the time of booking or pay via credit card, cash, or check on the day of service. On Sunday morning, the driver Melissa, arrived at my mom's house a few minutes before our scheduled pick up time to get set up. Upon meeting her I could tell she was a genuinely kind person and took pride in her work. She set my mom up into the van in less than two minutes and they were on their way. It was a smooth, enjoyable ride for my mom. Melissa gave me her cell phone number in case I needed to change the initial departure time and we stayed in contact to determine a new departure time. Melissa picked my mom up and gave her time to bid adieu to other church members. Grace is something that we need more of in this world and Melissa exhibits grace perfectly! All around, A+ service. Pick-up time arrived and no transportation was in sight. We had to make emergency arrangements which caused anxiety to our client and to the caregiver who was caring for him. Dialysis is a life-saving treatment that must be done on schedule, and Issac really let us down by not showing up for this commitment.
